Pros:

Parfait au cœur de la vieille ville , notre fenêtre donnait sur l’horloge astronomique comme prévu. bon petit déjeuner.

Cons:

Nous aurions du être avertis qu'un son et lumière avait lieu tous les soirs pendant notre séjour. Malgré les doubles fenêtres , le bruit jusqu'à minuit était assez insupportable

Short stay in historic hotel
Pros:

We liked that the hotel is located on the Old Town Square and we could see the Astronomical Clock from our room. The location is perfect for shopping and surrounded by many restaurants. The room was very large with high ceilings and a very large bathroom. All the staff we encountered were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast in the beautifully decorated cafe was plentiful and diverse. We asked for takeaway foods due to an early tour and this request was no trouble at all. Be aware that taxis cannot drive right up to the Hotel but will drop you as close as possible. We had assistance with our bags when leaving the Hotel which was much appreciated.

Cons:

While a fridge is supplied, coffee and tea making facilities within the room would have been handy.

Pros:

The Grand Hotel was the perfect place to stay in Prague and the location right across from the famous clock was ideal. The hotel is small and historical so every room was unique and historic. I couldn't have picked a better hotel and the value was great for the money. Besides, the breakfast was great and the porter escorted you out to a car as the hotel fronts on a "pedestrian only" zone. Couldn't have been more pleased.

The staff treated me, the author of 12 books, like a VIP and even had me sign the guest book.
Pros:

I stayed in the newly renovated room 502. It was a quiet room away from the Clock Tower which I preferred. The room was perfect and met my expectations.

Cons:

Fewer steps.

Position in old square could not have been any better ….
Pros:

Great view from bedroom window & the cafe Mozart where we had breakfast

Cons:

The stairs ,,,,, had room 302 which is at top of building,,, both of us are elderly , so this was a big challenge to climb all those flights of stairs …
Would not call our room “Deluxe “ .. very bland ,,, needed cheering up …

Pros:

The hotel had a great location, from our window we had a perfect view of the Astronomical Clock and the Old Square. The staff was also nice and professional and the rooms were clean. We got new sets of towels and new bed sheets every day.
Due to its location it was always very entertaining to look out of windows.

Cons:

Through almost our entire stay, there was a festival right in front of the hotel on Old Square. Music was blasted up until midnight so loud that the windows and the closet were vibrating. Not the hotels fault but definitely something to be aware of when booking a hotel this local.
The toilet paper was very thin and could be improved with maybe more layers. The breakfast had a variation of so much food and the veggie options were fine however there could have been more vegan options

Pros:

La salle du petit-déjeuner et le petit-déjeuner.

Cons:

Déçu par la chambre. J avais réservé une chambre grand luxe avec vue et la chambre était très simple j avais l impression d etre dans une chambre standard. La vue était très correcte. Je pense que l on paie l emplacement.
