The view from our balcony was magnificent Directly looking at the sea with Capri in the distance and Positano up the coast. No buildings between us and the water. Bird song delightful and no traffic noise. The property was old and characterful, lovely ceramic floors and ornaments adorning alcoves. It was immaculately clean. The included breakfast was lovely with new baked delights each day. Patricia was friendly and welcoming and proudly explained the menu she had prepared. Vido was very professional cleaning up after guests departed. The tiered gardens were spacious offering sun lounges and shaded space. The pool would be super in season but not yet open in early April. Rosa at reception was efficient and very personable
Our room and bathroom were very small. Perhaps that’s true most places on Amalfi coast given the challenges of building on the steep cliffs. The hotel is on the main coastal road-easy access with luggage compared to other properties up narrow steep streets. But walking along that busy road was intimidating as is the case everywhere on the Amalfi coast.
The location was spectacular, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
There was nothing we didn’t like of this property.

La ubicación es excepcional! Si bien están sobre la ruta Amalfitana y a penas llegamos todo el tránsito parece caótico! Pero después nos acostumbramos a manejaros sin el auto y a usar el bus, que es toda una experiencia en sì misma. Lo mejor la vista panorámica!! Es realmente única!!
El personal es muy gentil, Vincenzo y especialmente Rosa, muy profesional.
El desayuno es muy básico, por las características del hotel y el precio. Podrían mejorar la variedad de panes, facturas, fiambres muy pocos, etc. Lo mejor la atención de Patricia siempre dispuesta a servir el mejor café.
Las habitaciones son algo pequeñas pero muy funcionales, lástima que se escucha todo lo de la habitación de al lado.
Lo mejor, el balcón con vista panorámica!! Es fantástico!!
Το κατάλυμα ήταν εξαιρετικά προσεγμένο , πεντακάθαρο με τέλεια δωμάτια και φοβερή θέα ! Το πρωινό ήταν πλούσιο και πεντανόστιμο . Το προσωπικό ήταν εξυπηρετικότατο και το κλίμα τόσο φιλόξενο ! Ιδιαίτερα η Rosa στη ρεσεψιόν με την καθοδήγηση και τις προτάσεις της έκανε την διαμονή μας στο Praiano μαγική ! Επίσης ο κύριος στην πισίνα αλλά και οι άνθρωποι στο πρωινό όπως και οι κυρίες της καθαριότητας ήταν όλοι πρόθυμοι χαμογελαστοί και φιλικοί σαν να ήμασταν δικοί τους άνθρωποι ! Πολλά συγχαρητήρια σε ολη την ομάδα του Il Pino , το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα .
Hotel il Pino was lovely...the views are gorgeous, the staff is very helpful and professional, and the restaurant is superb. I took the cooking class at the restaurant and must say it was at the top of the list of the many classes I've had in Italy.
The breakfast and breakfast staff were wonderful! The balcony had beautiful views! Peaceful location! Beautiful property
Our room was right by the outside street with no hotel door to protect this area of the property. Seemed it could be dangerous and open to the entire public. Also, the bus stop was a little dangerous to get to.
Eine fantastische Unterkunft. Tolles Zimmer, super Aussicht, ein Pool. Überragendes Restaurant, man sollte aber einen Tisch reservieren. Frühstück auch fabelhaft. Der Parkplatz ist sehr klein aber das Personal kümmert sich ums einparken.
The staff are amazingly accommodating and helpful. It was the end of their season and I’m sure they were tired and in need of their own holiday yet nothing was too much trouble. The view is stunning and having a restaurant on site is a bonus. Easy walking access to many local restaurants and bars. Short bus ride to the other towns.
