Positives
Excellent location in the heart of Thessaloniki. The view from the balcony is truly stunning and probably the strongest asset of the hotel.
Very clean and well-maintained room. Warm, comfortable atmosphere.
The bed was comfortable and the soundproofing was good.
Reception was responsive: even if they missed a call, they would call back and follow up.
Staff were polite and attentive throughout the stay.
Complimentary minibar (water, soft drinks, beer, tea and coffee) included in the rate.
Overall Impression
A well-located and comfortable hotel with exceptional views and attentive service. However, some small but important details did not fully align with 5-star expectations. I would consider returning primarily for the location and the view.
Areas for Improvement
For a 5-star property such as Daios Luxury Living Thessaloniki, the absence of basic amenities like complimentary toothbrush and toothpaste in the room was disappointing.
The shower gel was fixed to the wall inside the shower cabin, making it impossible to use when taking a bath.
The packaging of the conditioner and body lotion was extremely stiff and difficult to squeeze, with a significant amount of product remaining inside.
Breakfast selection was decent but not particularly diverse. It felt more like a Mediterranean-style breakfast with an emphasis on pastries, cereals, yogurt and dry items, while the vegetable options were quite limited.
Considering the price level, much of the value comes from the location and the view rather than from elevated luxury details. There are alternative hotels nearby offering similar views at a lower rate.

Staff were really welcoming, answered all my questions. Room as quiet, pillows were soft, mattress was firm and the views were great.
Nothing to complain about
Beautiful hotel with a luxurious feel; excellent location. Breakfast and dinner were wonderful. The staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. There were little touches that made us feel special (little gifts for New Year). I really liked the bathroom and the option to choose between a shower and a bath.
Unfortunately, both restaurants were not wheelchair accessible. The entrance ramp was a bit too steep as well.
