Cheap enough to stay once, but will not book here again
Pros:

The booked price was good value, location and room were clean, shower pressure was nice.

Cons:

LOTS of noisy dogs in multiple adjacent rooms constantly barking at all hours, location isn't close to many dining options, faucet handle was broken, breakfast options were limited and underwhelming

It was comfortable and pleasant
Pros:

I understand booking.com was supposed to book a handicap accessible room. Everything was great. My only issue was the toilet seat was a bit to low. Again not Microtel's fault.

The price and location mostly.

Cons:

I was charged $100 holding fee on top of $196 which was for the whole weekend. After checkout I was going to be refunded my $100 deposit. It's now been two whole weeks from that booking and still haven't received my money back.
After reaching out to them they insist on telling me they refunded omy money. Even though my bank's already confirmed they charged me $100 never refunded it to me.
I will never stay there again.

Overpriced minimalist room
Pros:

It was clean and in a good location. Nothing extra.

Cons:

Overpriced for a so-so hotel in Columbus Ga. Definitely too much money for a tiny room....with nothing exciting to do nearby that would command 125 dollars a night. No pool I don't think and no breakfast in my opinion. Cereal, a teeny muffin, an orange etc.

Pros:

Breakfast was....ok... a little disappointing with just pancakes and microwavable sandwiches

Cons:

Check in was not very smooth..... they overcharged us at first, that was super annoying they basically charged us triple than what I was supposed to be paying.. then they said my reservation came in that morning when I booked the room a month in advanced luckily someone caught the overcharge and reversed it. Besides the check in everyone else was fantastic!!!

Happy Stay
Pros:

Everything was great at the hotel. The staff was very kind and knowledgeable. The room was great, the breakfast was okay. I would definitely stay here again. The hotel room was very nice.
