Idealna baza do zwiedzania starej Pragi

Doskonała lokalizacja, która pozwoliła nam na odpoczywanie w ciągu dnia pomiędzy wycieczkami.
Pokój był oddzielony od korytarza dużym przedpokojem, co wyciszało odgłosy z wnętrza budynku. Śniadanie bardzo dobre. Miła obsługa.
Przyszłyśmy o 10:00, żeby zostawić bagaże, a miły pan udostępnił nam pokój, ponieważ sprzątanie już się zakończyło. Dzięki temu mogłyśmy odpocząć po podróży.

Cons:

Nasz pokój był słabo nasłoneczniony z powodu bliskości kościoła. Ale było w nim przyjemnie cicho.

Charmless Hotel with Great Location
Pros:

The location is wonderful. I was able to wander freely around the old quarter and easily pop back to the hotel to refresh.

Cons:

From the misleading reviews I read, I was expecting a charming old hotel with interesting, eclectic furnishings but with good service and an excellent breakfast buffet.
But no charm here. The room was actually furnished with “cast-offs”: mismatched old, worn out pieces that were reminiscent of budget hotels that cost $5 a night back in the ‘70’s.
There were not enough electrical plugs. The two tub style chairs were not comfortable to sit on and there was not even one throw pillow to soften the seats. The bathroom had been updated but the grout around the tiles was dingy, possibly mouldy caused by low air circulation because the window was stuck closed.
Aside from this minor issue, the bathroom was good and well supplied.
There were several windows that were intended to be openable, but only one was fully functionable. There were curtains on the windows that could be closed at night but they were quite thin, not blackout curtains.
Although there was one very tiny elevator, it stops between floors so you have to walk 5 step up or down with your bags in order to reach your floor. And there is no assistance for anything as there is only one staff person at a tiny desk who is theoretically there from 8 to 8… Important to note as a safety issue, that although there is a telephone in the room, it makes no outgoing calls; it is only there for the “staff” to call you, not vice versa.
The breakfast buffet was quite minimal compared to others in this price range. I have no complaints about the freshness or the quality of the items - the bread was delicious - but there was little variety in the foods offered.
This is basically a restaurant with a few hotel rooms. When I entered the building to return to my room in the evening, there was no one at the hotel “desk” and I was dismayed to smell the remnants of cigarette smoke, probably coming from the restaurant.
Stay 10 minutes away and you can get a modern room with helpful staff and a great breakfast.
