I needed a hotel at walking distance from a clients office. For such, it is okay, but I paid double from European city c
Pros:

The location

Cons:

The breakfast . Europeans don’t like this type of breakfast on plastic gear and nothing healthy in choice except some small yoghurt supermarket type in plastic

Pros:

Great location While the property benefits from a great location and a comfortable room, the overall experience fell short of expectations for the price. The amenities and products provided were quite basic, making it difficult to feel that the stay offered good value for the amount paid.

Cons:

Price does not justify amenities and products used in room

Excellent experience and staff
Pros:

Excellent experience, the entire staff is professional, friendly. This was our first time in Chicago. They let us leave our luggage when we arrived early, told us to have breakfast as it was still open, etc. Great location central to all transportation, park, and Art Institute.

Two Stars Who Stole the Show: Kay's Kitchen Warmth & Robyn's City Savvy at Hampton Inn Chicago
Pros:

My husband and I just wrapped up a week-long stay at the Hampton Inn Chicago Majestic Theater District, and I honestly don't know where to begin—this place exceeded every expectation.
Let's start with the property itself. The building is nothing short of iconic. The moment you step through the doors, you're greeted by what I can only describe as miles of marble—gleaming, grand, and absolutely breathtaking. It has that historic Chicago character that you just can't manufacture, and yet the hotel is historically maintained. Every corridor, every common space, every corner was clean and perfectly tidy throughout our entire stay. Truly impressive.
But what really made this trip unforgettable was the staff. Every single team member we encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to help—no matter the time of day. You never felt like you were bothering anyone; they were simply always there when you needed them.
I have to give a very special shoutout to Kay on the food preparation team. The breakfast area was gleaming and bright. This woman is a force of pure, positive energy! Her smile alone could brighten your whole morning, and she welcomed us every single day like we were family. During our week-long stay, she truly felt like a sister to me. No request was too unusual or too much trouble—she handled everything with such ease and grace that I was constantly amazed. Kay, you are one of a kind!
And then there's Robyn at the front desk—an absolute gem. My husband was in class during the days, so I was often venturing out solo, and Robyn had the best suggestions for daytime adventures around the city. She knew exactly what would suit my pace and interests. And when it came to planning our evenings together, her ideas were equally fantastic. We had some genuinely memorable nights out, all thanks to her enthusiasm and local knowledge.
If you're visiting Chicago, do yourself a favor and book the Hampton Inn Majestic Theater District. The beauty of the building, the cleanliness, and—above all—the incredible people here will make your stay one you'll talk about long after you've returned home.

Pros:

Location was fine. Rooms were just okay, with my room being a bit run down. The atmosphere and layout of the hotel are a bit odd with the main lobby not being on the ground floor.
