Buona struttura nel cuore di Reykjavík.
Pros:

Struttura centrale e pulita. Ottima colazione. Possibilità di lasciare i bagagli il giorno della partenza.

Cons:

Da un hotel a 4 stelle mi aspettavo un po’ di più a livello di servizi e pulizia. Lenzuola non di cotone ma di tessuto spugnoso un po’ pungente. Staff un po’ freddo.

Great stay in Reykjavik
Pros:

The Thingholt by Center Hotels was a great stay! The location is fantastic, right in the center of the action of Reykjavik, close to restaurants, shops, sights, etc., yet very quiet. Our rooms were comfortable and clean, and even had a little welcome treat -very appreciated!-

The staff was very nice, especially the young woman who checked us in -wish I remembered her name!!!-, she was so friendly and sweet to our little boy. Made us feel instantly welcomed.

Great service!
Pros:

Fantastic service and great location. Although the weather was bad on our trip we had our sunshine Bora in the reception. She was so friendly and took good care of me and my dad. Always a smile and genuine friendly service.

I also want to share how happy we was with housekeeping. The room was always tidy and as an extra touch they folded my dads t-shirt on the bed every day.

I recommend staying at this hotel if you are looking for a central location with great service and cleanliness.

Hope to stay with you again!

Wonderful time !
Pros:

Location is great, the entire staff is super friendly and accommodating. What a wonderful team! The hotel is clean, breakfast offers food for ant type of traveler.

Cons:

Maybe increase the TV channel selection to include a couple of sports channels.

posizione centrale molto comoda, personale gentilissimo...

Cons:

letti/materassi cosi cosi, ma la cosa peggiore che ho preso una tripla e il terzo letto l'hanno ricavato da un divano, ma non un divano al letto, fosse vero....!!! ma da un divano normale, cosa che da un 4 stelle non è accettabile....!!!! la SPA da 22€ a persona è una vasca d'acqua calda e una sauna fredda..... no comment....!!!!

Excellent location, comfortable and clean with helpful staff
Pros:

Very clean and comfortable. Excellent location by the rainbow street and plenty of restaurants close by. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast choice.

Cons:

The sofa bed was okay but its not comfortable for more than one night. The hallway was too dark and you could not see the Numbers of the rooms.

Cons:

Lack of parking close by was problematic and often meant a 5 - 10 minute walk to and from nearest parking space.

Great central hotel
Pros:

Amazing central stay! We booked two rooms, and the hotel kindly allocated them next to each other, which made things so much easier for our family. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.

On our final night, my son unfortunately became quite unwell, and Maya at the front desk went above and beyond to help us during a stressful time. Her kindness and support were truly appreciated, and I would especially like to pass on my sincere thanks to her.

Great location near the centre.

Great location, friendly staff, perfect for our break
Pros:

Amazing 4 nights at the Thingholt, we stayed for our son’s 18th birthday and the staff couldn’t do enough to help make it special. Facilities are great, never felt overly busy or noisy, gorgeous boutique feeling, rooms were a good size, don’t be put off with the frosted glass bathrooms, you honestly can’t see anything! The location was perfect, really central between the harbour and Hallgrímskirkja and round the corner from rainbow road with lots of food options and shops close by, supermarket 2 minutes walk away. Close to stop #3 & #6 for flybus & tour pick ups. We used the bar of a night, well stocked, few board & card games to use. Breakfast was good, not over the top, wow amazing however had cereals, hot options, toast, pastries, fruit, juices, teas and coffees. Staff honestly couldn’t do enough for us. Had a body scrub and massage in the spa … well worth it! Absolutely fantastic. Would definitely book here again.
