Séjour de charme à St Petersburg
Pros:

Accueil parfait , établissement plein de charme , calme , bien situé , petit déjeuner excellent et très copieux , possibilté de dîner , bonne cuisine . Proche du théâtre Marinski où nos avons vu un ballet .
C'était notre deuxième séjour à l'Alexander house , nous y séjournerons à nouveau si nous retournons à St Petersburg

What a wonderful little gem this place is. We would go back a 100 times! The place is full of atmosphere and cosiness and we didn’t really want to leave. The rooms are decorated with great care and fantasy and the staff is over the top available, kind and service minded. Thank you for making our trip to St Petersburg a special memory

Secret gem in St Petersburg
Pros:

Alexander House was beautifully located for our post river cruise extended stay in St Petersburg. We enjoyed being in a quieter part of the city, but close to smaller canals and within walking distance of the Neva embankment and the Mariinsky Theatre. The 181 and 49 buses also took us right to Nevsky.

Our room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable with interesting modern art. The choice of food at breakfast was excellent including traditional Russian savory and sweet pastries and other dishes.

We also loved the quiet courtyard garden where we were able to meet friends for coffee.

A gem of a hotel in a brilliantly beautiful city
Pros:

I've traveled the world since 1978 for business and pleasure. Even though it's a small hotel, for me it ranks right in the top tier. The rooms are large, comfortable and functional. Breakfast caters to any taste or dietary requirements. They will prepare any meal off of their excellent dinner menu 24/7. Most importantly, the staff are all charming and efficient. Alexander House is situated along a quiet canal, with the only drawback being a long walk into the center of the city. I can recommend this hotel without reservation!
