Achillion Hotel

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I found bed bugs in my room around 4 a.m. and immediately went to the front desk. The overnight staff was rude, dismissive, and completely unbothered—they refused to move me and claimed no rooms were available. There was no apology or concern for my safety or comfort.

At 9 a.m., I spoke to another employee who first insisted that bed bugs were “impossible.” After I showed him clear photos, he instantly admitted, “Yeah, we have bed bugs,” with no sense of urgency or accountability.

The lack of hygiene is bad enough, but the staff’s attitude was shocking. No empathy, no solution, and no responsibility. This hotel failed basic sanitation and customer service standards.

Do not stay here. If management can’t maintain a pest-free environment or treat guests with respect, they don’t deserve your business.

Near a very rough area

Had to leave early and they did not refund me not happy

broken doors and handles, food left in the fridge from previous occupiers, ac didnt change temperature but it did work.
bed was comfy no balcony as said on booking

I had a nice a stay. Very helpful staff. Hotel close by the metro. Breakfast was delicious.

Hotel front desk staffs are super helpful and friendly, and breakfast have great variety with nice services from staffs!

The room is spacious and clean! with walkable to the metro area.

The only improvement I think is the wifi, during our stay, the wifi seem got cut off sometime..

We had a smooth check in and everything was fine.

Excellent bargain for the price, very comfortable, excellent service. Neighborhood has some homeless people but no problems on main streets.

The hotel was great, staff great, the only thing that let it down, was the local druggies hanging round the side street, apparently they congregate around there since COVID lock down, but the staff soon moved them on, apparently the council will be sorting it soon

There were ants on my bed, The surrounding area is not safe . The bed is so small, and not comfortable to sleep on. Overall experience wasn’t good at all … won’t recommend it

The property was perfectly acceptable, and good value for money given the price. It was a little far from the centre of Athens, but I expected this given the cost. Reasonably priced, very comfortable, helpful hosts. I would recommend this for people on a budget as I was.

The Hotel is nice and clean, the staff is very helpful and the food awesome, the only issue was the AC. They have a centralized unit for the building and it wasn’t working in my room. But location is perfect, close to metro station, bars, restaurants, etc

Front desk staff was very helpful and attentive. Breakfast was good.

The air conditioner kept on turning off at night and I had to get up three and four times in the middle of the night to turn it on again - I reported it twice everyday but nothing was done!!! A pity because it’s a nice hotel!!

The hotel was in a. Decent location and the room was decent but we were counting on the WiFi which was abysmal and they didn't even deny it

It is conveniently located. Metro is right on the corner.
Extremely noisy both from the traffic and especially the noisy from groups after groups of teenager students who stay in this hotel. Their shouting and screaming noisy can continue up to 2 or 3 am. Had 2 very disturbing nights at this hotel.
