I don't care about facilitie because the view on Sassi was the best from all town.
Excellent location. Amazing room in a cave with a nice balcony.
One not to miss: the two swimming pools inside the Roman Thermae.

In case you're 65+ yo or not in a good physical condition think twice before getting lodge in the dependencies. Staircases may be challenging.
The SPA below is nice if not with kids, and its right in the mix for wandering the area. They will pick you up if driving which is a must as maps are deceptive when they say its walkable as hills and cobbled streets.
Bar could stay open a little longer but more than enough going on outside that its not a huge issue.
Gorgeous property right in the middle of the Sassi. Our room was huge and beautiful. The common terraces are lovely for a sunset drink. The thermae is stunning with the main pool being quite cool and more of a swimming pool. A great experience. Free pick up from the car parking is ideal to avoid dragging luggage up and down stairs.
Lots of stairs to carry luggage up but you could ask for a room close to the elevator. Matera is all stairs anyway

Die Zimmer sind traumhaft schön! Und absolut sauber!
Extra Eintritt bezahlen für Spa! Das Frühstück ist sehr ausbaufähig! Es fehlte Müsli die angebotenen sachen Kuchen, Cornetto usw waren ziemlich trocken. Der cappuccino war auch nix. Das einzig positive war das angebotene Obst war nicht viel aber frisch!
The location is excellent, right in the heart of the old town, within walking distance from all the main touristic places.

The staff was super nice and helpful, facilitating anything we needed, from recommending us to reserve a parking spot, and driving us from the parking lot, free of charge.
The town itself is amazing.
The AC was a bit hard to maneuver.
The smell in the room was a bit suffocating, smelled humid (although there was no humidity signs visible)
Property was lovely, good location to most things.
Would have been good to be able to use the pool without payment every time when you are a guest there.
Our room was further from the main hotel than we expected and although we are all fit it was an effort to get our luggage to the room. Breakfast was great!
We used the spa and the chlorine from the pools destroyed my eyes for 3 full days. We enjoyed the experience at the time but the showers had no towels and no lotions and very poor quality soap.
