This hotel listed as a 5-star hotel, but it felt like a 3-star hotel. It is very outdated. Definitely needs remodeling. The room was dusty. The staff is polite, but will not go out of the way to help. The breakfast was also for the 3-star hotel, not much to choose from. The restaurant manager, though did go out of his way trying to satisfy the customers. Outside of the hotel, there is a major construction, that makes it difficult to arrive with the luggage close enough for someone to come and help. Nobody warned me at the time of booking, that this will be the case. There are definitely better choices available for that price. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody.
The rooms are comfortable, good breakfast and great lobby. But the Reception Manager Fedor was arrogant and rude every time I asked for something. The girl Mamura at Breakfast was pleasant and great. Overall, it was a good experience but they need to train the Reception staff well.

Was looking for a 4-5 star hotel with spa.
Reception is unfriendly and may I say unprofessional, fist they summoned that there was no reservation, then that the payment hasn’t gone through, yet all they needed to do is to stay focused and not rush to the conclusions in front of the customer.
Breakfast in the restaurant is below average, poorly laid out. Sirniki and sausages disappointed. I have decided to opt for breakfast in a bar, yet again, I was disappointed: instead of the English muffin I got a white toast (without options).
My massage in the spa was performed by a lovely English speaking Philippino, unfortunately the aromatherapy has never happened, he just done a relaxing massage, I have reminded him about my order but he skipped on that, also the receptionist acknowledged my observation but hasn’t even apologized and of course charged for the extra service that was ordered but hasn’t even apologized never been provided!
The bar staff told me his unhappy life story:(, although the Tunisian bar supervisor hasn’t disappointed-he’s been extremely friendly and professional.
No cotton discs or buds in the rooms. I haven’t tried hard to spot a few long black hairs on the carpet and in the shower (I’m blonde), tiles in the shower are discolored, need cleaning; towels are getting thin with age. The front door of this grand hotel is also grand and heavy with noone to help an 8-stone lady to open it, however there’s a security personnel pointlessly checking you out with the stair every time you walk along the hall.
I’ve felt intimidated when an unwelcome gentleman offered to escort him to his room in the spa, yet there was no security guard there for me to report this unwelcome incident! No later then that very evening have I seen that gentleman having a strange lady rushing after him towards the hotel lift.

I stayed in this hotel for three nights with my family, the room was ordinary and old, the cooling system did not work, the hotel did not provide any services, the staff was arrogant and very dry, the atmosphere was cold and soulless, I do not recommend it at all
The executive lounge staff do speak good English but the service is apparently not as good. As I received limited service, they are really attentive to those who speak Russian. I am definitely sure there is no communication issue but they got an attitude. I stayed here last year and had a good time but got a totally different experience this stay. Aside from the executive lounge, no one helps with my luggage at the lobby until I go to the luggage man after check-in. Things might change and I will not recommend this hotel unless you speak Russian.

Everything is okay. The furniture is a bit old, but overall everything is fine.

Everything was amazing! We got free upgrade, very nice of them to do that for us. Great location (next to our train station), very welcoming service.
Now to cleanliness!
They kept all surfaces and furniture very clean.
Just one very little problem:
Hand-towels had some stains on them (perhaps they are just very old and couldn't be washed anymore - therefore should be replaced).
And another sign of oldness is barely-barely seen but big-old stain on carpet in the bedroom next to beds. This stain is almost unseen and we just have very good eyes. Not many people would even notice it - I'm sure of that! Some barely seen stains were seen on walls too. We know that these things can't be washed - this is just hotel getting old. All of this just adds sadness, but no inconveniences at all!
The most important for us were not hand-towels (which could be replaced) or carpets or walls (which couldn't be noticed by 90% of visitors), but other things and they were all clean:
1. Beds and pillows were CLEAN!
2. House coats were CLEAN!
3. All furniture and surfaces were CLEAN!
Hotel was generally very clean and there were no signs of bad smells or anything like that!!
We chose building for it's amazing, great, authentic architecture and we got what we wanted!!
We will have a very good memories about this place!!

My experience there was disgusting. Never going there anymore. I got surprised when I left my room to breakfast hall and just saw a letter saying that “due technical issues they would need to check my docs again”. Because one day before at check in, the receptionist said that I was probably ilegal in the country and for that my checkin couldn’t be done. I felt humiliated. I’m living in Vladivostok since 2018, I am a medical student and have a valid students visa. But he looked only to my immigration card (the one we receive when entering in the country and should register an address after 3 days to get a doc called registration) I showed my valid registration and finished the check in. The things is: only my visa is enough to do the procedure. In the morning When was leaving to have breakfast I got my keys blocked and after reading that letter, I went to the reception and another guy just checked and everything was okay. Going to breakfast hall a woman asked me to go Urgently to the reception. Again humiliated in there because they didn’t communicate between them. I said I was just coming from there and solved the issue. I felt really humiliated and asking myself all the time how can the staff members of Hilton just don’t know about basic check in skills and guests documents. Really disappointed.

It was not my first stay here but this will be last one. First of all, reservation office was not supportive in terms of Voucher document for visa application. During my stay, they opened door after 1 knock and then attempted to get in at 9 am to check whether if I used minibar. Luckily door was locked. The other night room service knock the door at 10 pm, to clean the room.
Loved it! It was worth every penny. Great staff, delicious breakfast, wonderful location.
This hotel is one of Stalin’s Seven Sisters. The architecture is amazing. The hotel was 5 stars in every way. The room was amazing. It was on the 19th floor with a view that went on for 20 miles. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. I definitely would stay there again.
Платишь такие бабки за номер, а они потом еще не хотят тебя заселять по загранпаспорту, мотивируя это каким-то постановлерием. Так вот, почитайте сами свое Постановление Правительства РФ от 09.10.2015 N 1085 (ред. от 18.07.2019) "Об утверждении Правил предоставления гостиничных услуг в Российской Федерации", п. 19, где чёрным по белому написано, что по загранпаспорту МОЖНО заселять, если лицо находится на постояннои проживании за границей. Позор! Отношение персонала и сервис не соответствует ценам!
