Great Greece Le Convivial Suites

Arrived at the Convivial on 8/29/2024. A sign said to call a cell phone, no one around. Not a good start for a place named "convivial".
Someone came down and showed us a room with stained carpets, stained curtains, stained towels, dark bathroom that wasn't clean. Carpeted stairs had stains. The carpets everywhere looked worn and not vacuumed.
The doors to the rooms were plain wooden doors you might have in your house. One of them had a crack in it that you could see light come through. Not secure at all.
The lobby was dark and the couch had a dark stain, as if someone had wiped greasy hands on it. No "luxury" here.
There is a courtyard with a small pool that had not been cleaned for a long time. The walls below water were dirty. There were debris floating on the water and there was no filtration pump going. There were droppings on the pavement and the few tables/chairs were covered with dust. Not "spa" like either.
The receptionist showed us three rooms and they were all in similar conditions.
We spoke with the owner and they refused to refund our money. They offered to clean the room. I was disgusted and wouldn't sleep there even at no charge. I had to find another place to stay.
I complained to Expedia. They tried to get in touch with the owner. The owner didn't answer the calls, Expedia did not approve a refund.
This is the cancellation policy of 24 hours prior, but it seems there is no protection against false advertising.
This place has been neglected for some time.

Hotel's common areas are incredibly wonderful! A unique "handmade" hotel with everything you need: Spa services ( i"ll book in advance next time), a beautiful restaurant area and a nice pool. My room was also amazing, spacious with a very (v-e-r-y) comfortable bed and a big clean bathroom. Breakfast was simple but delicious, served just outside your room, don't miss it!

Great location clean rooms and the staff was so friendly. They made an amazing dinner that was something out of a romantic movie. Amazing food. We were a little disappointed that there were no spa services available but it is the wintertime and that needs to be booked in advance. Also I don't think anyone stays in the hotel with you. We are pretty sure we were the only customers and went to get something from our car and all the light in the hotel were off and was pretty creepy(maybe I watch to many movies). You also have to lock and unlock the door when you leave and come in at night. Also, no TVS or phones in your room they are a quite hotel. But we would stay here again. Even just for dinner and great service.

Wonderful stay! My daughter and I had booked and already stayed two nights at a hotel in town and were not happy at all. So my husband researched hotels on Hotels.com and found this hotel. We could not have been happier with everything from the staff to the beautiful room and amenities. Really saved our trip from a couple more nights in a less that desirable hotel.

Το ξενοδοχείο ήταν πολυτελέστατο με πολύ ωραία ασιάτικη διακόσμηση. Η χαλαρωτική μυρωδιά του lemongrass ήταν κυρίαρχη στους χώρους του ξενοδοχείου. Το πρωινό ήταν πλούσιο και προσεγμένο, ενώ το προσωπικό ήταν φιλικό αλλά χωρίς ιδιαίτερες γνώσεις ελληνικών και αγγλικών. Η διαμονή μας ήταν πραγματικά υπέροχη και το δωμάτιο τέλειο. Τόσο το δωμάτιο όσο και το ξενοδοχείο στο σύνολό του ήταν πεντακάθαρα. Τέλος, το μασάζ ήταν συγκλονιστικό και άκρως αναζωογονητικό.
