A great place to stay and enjoy Tuscany!
Pros:

The hotel is close by the train station, it’s a beautiful hotel with a very nice garden and a pool. The breakfast is delicious and the staff (from the receptionists to the housekeeping staff) team is absolutely fantastic! They are available, arranging, friendly and professional. Grazie mille !

Certaldo Alto is a fairytale, I loved it. The hotel …I wish it lived up to the pictures.
Pros:

I had breakfast included but day 1 I had lunch reservations and didn’t eat breakfast and day 2 I checked out early.

Cons:

I really was looking forward to my stay here however on entering the hotel I got a musty smell which I soon realised was not only in the lobby but also very strong in my room. I can only describe it as rotten vegetables. My room also felt damp and clammy.
I Whatapped the reception late the first night to complain as it got so bad I couldn’t sleep well. They responded next morning telling me they would inform the manager as soon as she arrives. I heard nothing more and got on with my day.
Although the room was lovely and bed comfortable and the bathroom clean and spacious. Two things I noted were missing in the bathroom namely a glass or vessel for your toothbrush and no grab bar to assist with getting in / out of the bath safely to use the shower.
I did not venture to check the pool but looked small from passing.
I arrived late Sunday evening to find no restaurant was open and I had to walk alone the 10 mins into the town thru some scary graffiti lined underpass.
As I was only staying 2 nights I did not pursue the smell in my room and I checked out at 6am on my last day. The hotel never checked back either with regards to the smell issue.

Super, je recommande
Pros:

Bon petit-déjeuner italien, personnels très amables, ample parking gratuit, bon restaurant sur place , beau parc et piscine en été. Assez éloigné (4 Km) du bourg médiéval de CERTALDO qui mérite une visite avec nombreux bons restaurants. Très proche de Sienne et Florence (45Km) et San Gimignano à 12 KM ! Une très bonne alternative de qualité et économique mais il faut une voiture.

Un peu éloigné du centre historique et de la gare, il faut une voiture

Pros:

Week end incantevole, camera superior stupenda con balcone e vista sia sulla piscina che sul fiume, cena e colazione fatte in camera con un servizio Ottimo, pulizia della camera perfetta. Ogni volta che veniamo è sempre un successo.
