Las instalaciones sucias y viejas, olía muy mal el elevador y los pasillos
Nada renovado el hotel esta en decadencia
The staff was very friendly at check in. The room was a basic room but nice. The pool and hot-tub were great. The breakfast was a simple continental breakfast, but good.
Nothing
Great location, staff were so friendly and helpful, lobby was very clean, lots of parking and lots of outlets and ways to charge your devices in your room.
The couch in our room was pretty heavily stained and it looked like the floors had not been cleaned in quite awhile.
We have stayed here several times over the past few months. Originally, when planning our roadtrip, we looked into this area, only to find fairly pricey rates of $200+ to $300+. Quoted rates were with reward points for Hilton Honors, IHG and Choice rewards. Out of desperation, we looked into Day's Inn and gave it a try.
Rates at this hotel were markedly lower (under $100 before tax). Our expectations were low. We were pleasantly surprised.
Very clean hotel inside and out. Three floors. No carpeting in rooms (which is great!). Average sized rooms. Typical amenities (microwave, coffee maker, phone, clothes iron and ironing board). This room featured a little extra sitdown area with a small bench and underneath storage. Bathroom was fine. Plenty of nice hot water. AC worked fine. Room was cooled down to our liking.
There are some cons of sorts.
Walls are thin. Our neighbors were a bit noisy earlier in the evening. coffee maker in this room was hardly working. We
ended up heating water in the micro. Street noise is noticeable if you are a light sleeper. The highway is right there. Did not bother us. AC is fairly loud, but not terrible.
The people at the desk are very nice and professional. Rosie, in particular, is informative and accomodating.
Check in and out is simple. The one con is I never received a receipt, not paper nor via email.
The area is nice. No issues with our vehicle or strangers lurking about. Restaurants and shops all around. A McDonald's is right across the street.
I think there may be some type of exercise room (?) and a pool. We made no use of either. The pool is outdoors. Someone elses kids were having a blast in the pool.
For us, cost was the deciding factor. Rosie mentioned Wyndham Rewards, which we joined during our first stay a few months back. The points actually reduced our nightly rate by about 10%. Much better than other reward programs which never seem to be enough for any discount. We are not business travelers racking up tens of thousands of points per year.
Breakfast is simple continental. Some breads, cold and hot cereal, a little fruit, waffle maker, assorted hot and cold drinks. No eggs or meat. On this last stay, we were checking out around 4:30am and most of the breakfast bar was already stocked, which was nice. We grabbed a little something to munch on for the road.
We paid $71 + tax on this latest stay (with points). Imo, that's dirt cheap, especially in this economy.
Finally, this hotel accomodates pets. Only $25 additional cost. That alone saves money as most of the higher priced hotels I listed above charge 3 to 4 times that amount per pet per night.
Every penny counts nowadays. The money we saved on our stay filled our gas tank several times over.
This is a nice hotel situated in a decent area at an affordable price. We highly recommend.
Safe travels everyone
The floors of the room were very dirty. Also our original room was given away. however, they did give us a room on the first floor which may things simpler with unpacking the car and packing the car.
La ubicacion cercana de los lugares para comer
Los colchones que nos tocaron muy deteriorados
Check in was quick.
The breakfast was ok. Nothing spectacular. Beds not comfortable. Need update. The noise of rooms above you are noisy. Hear every foot step. Small towels.
