Very disappointed

Sevierville, TN
The worst stay I’ve had at this hotel. The outside was dirty (trash on the ground, tall grass and cobwebs). The public area seemed to be clean but the furniture was worn and outdated. Our room was clean however the floors were slick with some sort of film, the mattresses need to be replaced and the air conditioning unit didn’t work. Reported it to the front desk and the individual came in unplugged it, plugged it back in and then took the face off (filter hadn’t been replaced in a while. It ran for a minute and then shut off. Very disappointing to see just how rundown it has become

Paid money, no room, still waiting for refund.
Pros:

The property was fine. We booked a room and then they didn’t have one for us.

Cons:

There was someone else sleeping in our room. They took our money and then ended up not having a room for us. I have to now call and get a refund because the person who was working didn’t know how to give our money back. It was 2 in the morning and I paid $200 to sleep in my car. It was the second time booking.com screwed us over that night.

All in all, our stay was pleasant and we even booked a room for next year at the same time!
Pros:

Bed/Bedding, Room size were excellent.
The staff was very friendly and helpful both day and evening shifts.
The soaps, shampoo, condition an d shower gel was perfect.

Cons:

Monday thru Wednesday there was no hot water, however, they were aware and had a contractor to fix the problem.

Awful experience
Pros:

Convenient location

Cons:

No hot water and failed to mention that until time of arrival. Paid full price (working on a refund) because they said it would be fixed within the hour and it was not. We were told that it had been out since Tuesday and there was still no hot water when we left the following day. They also served a full breakfast under these conditions, which is illegal.
