The Rose Hotel

For the gluten-free traveler, this is an excellent place to stay while in Ireland. They are very knowledgeable about Celiac disease and have lots of options. At breakfast, there is a gluten free breakfast on the menu and a separate section at the breakfast buffet just for gluten free food that includes its own toaster and packaged/labeled breads and pastries. At the bar restaurant, there is a separate fryer for gluten free fries, etc. Dining staff, including Mary and Molly, were super helpful and accommodating. The hotel rooms are also great—a perfect home base for golfing in the area.

Beautiful hotel, very clean. The rooms were spacious, beds were comfortable. The bathroom was small, but very functional. I suppose I am a spoiled American, but I had hoped for air-conditioning, there was air blowing, but it was not cool. Overall nice day and the staff was excellent.

We had a wonderful midweek break at the Rose, from Abbey at the reception to Aileen and Jennifer at the evening dinner, Amy and Mary at breakfast. Everyone one of the staff were so polite and helpful to us. A special mention must be said to Noelle, Ellen and Ria in the Spa department.. Would highly recommend the Rose Hotel, we have already booked our next stay...

Dined at Dott's Bar last pm. We are all plant based so hoped for a good experience!
Well... the Buddha Bowl was delicious. Plenty of protein. Quinoa, Chickpeas, Avocado, Pickled Red Cabbage and Broccoli shoots. Absolutely delicious.
The Tempura Cauliflower Steak was just off the scale delicious! Accompanied by Picallili, Fallafel and Sweet Potato Fries.. and a plant based Curry Mayo.. Delightful!
There's hope for the planet yet when The Rose is serving up such wonders.

Enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea at The Rose Hotel recently. Delicious cakes and sandwiches and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Highly recommend!

we have just spent 4 wonderful nights at this beautiful hotel in a great location ..As always everything about this hotel was second to none...all the staff and management made us so welcome again..
All the dining was surberb...quality of food outstanding in every way...made even more special by the very friendly waitresses ..
So i can definitely recommend this hotel

It is a well laid out hotel.
The rooms are a good size.
Bath and shower.
Very comfortable bed.
Great room service.
There are lots of attentive staff.
Food in bar excellent.
Great breakfast choices.
Restaurant atmosphere wasn't great due to large number of bus tours that were there.
Car parking good.
Nice walk through park from hotel to town centre.

This is our third trip to the Rose and once again I cannot praise the hotel and it's staff enough. From arrival at reception we were warmly greeted and given the room we requested with walk in shower. The room was spotless and very comfortable I had the best three nights sleep in a long time. Breakfast in the morning had excellent choices. Hot food served to the table which is another reason we choose this hotel. Evening meals were the same high standard. All in all I will definitely return and would highly recommend

I recently hosted events at this hotel for over 70 people and stayed for two nights during the event. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional.

The staff could not have been more helpful, friendly, or accommodating. Their support throughout the event was outstanding and played a huge part in making everything run smoothly. The atmosphere in the hotel is warm, welcoming, and beautifully designed, creating the perfect environment for both guests and events.

The quality of the accommodation, service, and facilities is remarkable, especially considering the price. It offers incredible value for money without compromising on standards.
