Very central. The room had everything needed was very quiet, it was clean; the bed was extremely comfortable; the staff was friendly and helpful. They brought up my luggage and brought it down because it was two flights up. It was a 15-minute walk from the station. Very convenient and perfect for what I need.
Lighting in the bathroom, not ideal to put on your make-up, but hotels rarely get that right.

De locatie, is super goed. Gelegen in een leuke straat en dichtbij het treinstation. Het Brabantse ontvangst was heel leuk. Goede tip: als je hier verblijft, ga dan eten bij het restaurant beneden.
Mooi boutique hotel op een prachtige locatie in Amsterdam. Het is stijlvol ingericht, schoon en heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. De bijgeleverde oordopjes waren erg prettig, omdat het wel wat lawaaiig is in de omgeving (maar dat is ook logisch in hartje Amsterdam!). De ontbijtdeal met het koffietentje tegenover is top, we hebben genoten van de lekkere koffie met croissants.
Het bed en de kussens zijn vrij hard maar wel lekker ruim.

The bed was very far and none of our side lamps worked (they needed to be charged).
We would absolutely stay at hotel calisto again. The room was lovely, clean and the staff were so friendly. The location is my favourite in Amsterdam and we found it very comfortable and good value for money!
The only downside is that the room was very small and there wasn’t a great deal of space to leave our things/ hang our clothes. But it is clearly stated that it is a small room so this was to be expected.
The room was lovely and in a really quiet part of town with hardly any traffic noise. The hotel is very clean and warm and there are friendly, helpful staff in the restaurant downstairs. Highly recommended.

Cant recommend this hotel enough. The location is amazing - close to inner city and trendy neighborhoods, Jordaan and De 9 Straatjes. The staff were super friendly and very accommodating to all your needs. The rooms are fitted out nicely with modern amenities and nice details - the Tekla soap was amazing. Also they have bikes for hotel guests to use.
Lastly i would highly recommend their restaurant below, amazing food and natural wine list - i also visited their sister restaurant Café Binnenvisser - equally as good.
Thanks to the manager Roy, and staff Cece and Malle(?) it was an amazing stay!
The hotel was very nice, we were allowed to leave our luggage even though we went early and our luggage was carried to our room while we were away. The location was very nice and safe. We were also able to get free breakfast and coffee from the cafe next to the hotel. I would definitely choose it again.
The windows were very difficult to open. Other than that, the stairs were small, yes, but that's how it is in Europe in general, it wasn't a problem for us.
