noisy when on first floor due to the restaurant beneath. Thin walls, they provide ear plugs
Really enjoyed this accommodation. Smallish room which for Europe is not uncommon. We were a party of 7/3 rooms of which only 2 were ready when we checked in. Our hostess was amazing, very attentive and accommodating. Very helpful getting everyone’s luggage up the narrow staircase. Kept in touch with us to ensure we didn’t miss the 11pm cut off to pu 3rd room key.
Breakfast offered across the street opened a little too late, 9am, for our purposes as we were up early our first day so didn’t eat. 2nd day we waited until 9 and received our coffee and delicious chocolate croissants. Owner of the shop was very friendly
All that was needed for a 1night stay . Thankyou
Just noisy
The staff were incredible. They carried our heavy suitcases up flights of stairs, and were very attentive to our needs. They let us keep our luggage there while we waited to leave Amsterdam later in the day. The location is perfect with shops and restaurants all around.
The room was very small but it was clean and comfortable.
Personal muy atento.
Incómodo llegar a la habitación, incómoda la habitación.
The bed was very comfortable but the pillows were like bricks. The room was clean when we checked in for a three night stay. The next day, house keeping left two bath towels and took the wet, used ones but
did nothing else. The the next day our room was untouched by house keeping😣 Totally unacceptable.
Very small, poorly furnished room. Loud all night long. I asked for a hairdryer and was told to look harder in the room because there was one. There was not. No housekeeping services. Incredibly dangerous stairway up to the third floor.
Location and the room was airy, clean and large.
The staircase to access rooms are narrow and winding
- Located in a great neighbourhood with lots of nice cafes, shops and restaurants near by.
- In walking distance to city centre.
- Supplied with vouchers for free coffee and pastries for the Good Beans Cafe across the street.
The stairs to the room were extremely steep however the staff took our bags up and down from the room for us.
We most liked the location. It is close to the station
And the local area is lovely and well stocked with all you would need and a lovely supermarket just two minutes walk away. It was a nice touch to have the blanket in the room and the ear plugs. Although you could hear other people in the building, it didn't disturb you like some buildings in Amsterdam.
We would have liked to leave our bags with reception as we didn't need to leave Amsterdam until 2ish, we needed to wait for someone to arrive - In the end we ended up taking the case with us as it was getting on near 11am so just to have the option earlier would have been nice.
