Staff at this property was exceptional and very accommodating

Very quaint and affordable

Cons:

Bed was not very comfortable and the room was very small. Breakfast was included at the coffee shop across the street, but he didn’t open early enough.

La posizione in zona centralissima comodissima per raggiungere le principali attrazioni anche a piedi. La pulizia

Non è stato possibile reperire telefonicamente l’host negli orari di non apertura del ristorante. Il bagno si allaga molto facilmente. La stanza è veramente troppo calda, c’è in dotazione un ventilatore ma troppo rumoroso. A mio parere non all’altezza del prezzo molto elevato richiesto

Hotel op een mooie lokatie, goed bereikbaar met openbaar vervoer.
Harde bedden maar goede kwaliteit. Ondanks de drukke straat redelijk rustig.

Cons:

Matige badkamer, de koud water kraan was defect dus alleen warm tot heet eater om je tanden te poetsen. Kleine douche zonder douche-scherm, zodat meteen de hele badkamer nat is. Door het drempeltje is het water ook niet terug te duwen in de douche. Ontbijt niet in het hotel maar je krijgt binnen voor de koffie-tent er tegenover, maar die is pas vanaf 10 uur open.

In a great location
Pros:

I booked this hotel for my last nights stay in Amsterdam because I wanted to be close to this area which is one of my favourite parts of the city. The location is fantastic and its not far to walk from Centraal Station. The man that checked me in was very friendly and helpful and I was able to leave my bag there which he later took up to the room for me. They give you a voucher for coffee and a pastry from the coffee shop next door, both of which were lovely. The room was clean and the shower was powerful. The bed is very big.

Cons:

For the first part of my trip I stayed in a much more modern hotel so this was a bit of a change in comparison. Although the room was clean it felt a bit....scruffy and a bit basic, just a bed in a room no TV. There was a also a bit of a funky smell in the bathroom sometimes. I travel solo and my rules are I have to feel safe and comfortable. There only being guests in the building throughout the night and a member of staff not being easily contactable if there was an emergency did make me feel a but uneasy. Unfortunately it rained so my plan of wandering around that evening went out the window but the room didn't feel like a cosy, comfortable place to relax instead. I got woken up in the early hours by someone shouting but not sure if that was outside (probably was) of it it was inside the hotel. Maybe I was in a more basic room or it just comes down to personal preference. I really wanted to love this hotel :(
