Steigenberger ALDAU Beach Hotel

The hotel and gardens are amazing. It is immaculately clean and so well looked after. The staff at the Stiegenberger Aldau cannot do enough for guests and as there are too many to mention by name, I would like to thank each and every one who made our stay so special. We will definitely be returning and shall highly recommend to our family and friends.

We are sadly leaving this amazing hotel to go home tomorrow there is one thing that we could fault the staff are all amazing and work very very hard we would like to especially thank amhed at the tanga beach restaurant who went above and beyond for us he really is a great asset to this hotel and always has a big smile on his face. The grounds are kept to an exceptional standard. The food was plentiful and to a very high standard. Our room was beautiful and cleaned every day everything was restocked daily. On valentines day we came back from the beach to find our room decorated with rose petals towels made into swans and hearts and room service with chocolate strawberries very thoughtful and very much appreciated thank you.we will definitely be back next year. Our stay at the Steigenberger ALDAU Beach Hotel in Hurghada from January 31st to February 7th, 2026 was nothing short of extraordinary and without a doubt one of the best family vacations we have ever experienced.
We stayed in the Presidential Suite, which was absolutely breathtaking. Spread over three floors, the suite offers the highest level of luxury and privacy imaginable. It felt more like a private residence than a hotel suite. Highlights included a private rooftop pool, a personal sauna, and even a fully equipped private gym. Every detail was thoughtfully designed, impeccably maintained, and radiated elegance, comfort, and exclusivity.
What truly elevated our stay to an exceptional level was our personal butler, Saif. Saif was authentically polite, warm, and incredibly attentive, while always remaining discreet. His greatest priority was ensuring that we felt completely comfortable and relaxed at all times — and this was evident in everything he did. From organizing diving trips and spa treatments to arranging camel rides and dining experiences, everything was perfectly managed, seamless, and always accompanied by a genuine smile. His service was outstanding and made a remarkable difference to our overall experience.
The culinary experience throughout the resort was equally impressive. The food was consistently excellent, offering great variety and exceptional quality. The resort itself is stunning, beautifully maintained, and creates an atmosphere of pure relaxation, elegance, and refined luxury.
We enjoyed an unforgettable time as a family and truly cherished every moment of this stay. Our sincere thanks to the entire team at Steigenberger ALDAU Beach, and especially to Saif, who made this vacation truly special.

The trip began with the excellent reception, the helpful staff at the front desk, the speed with which I was given rooms, and how well all my requests were met.

The room was more than wonderful, and the view was beyond my imagination. Room service was exceptional and fast. All the restaurants were outstanding, and I'd like to thank the head chef for the variety and choices. The bar staff in all the locations were always smiling and fulfilled all requests quickly. The entertainment and its team were incredibly enjoyable. Guest service, especially Ms. Reham, was extremely friendly and helpful. The managers were definitely outstanding, even though I didn't meet any of them, but the way the work was managed and organized indicates exceptional management. I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to have a memorable and enjoyable vacation. I hope to return again and enjoy everything it has to offer.

Just got back after 10 days in this wonderful hotel.The grounds and hotel are spotless and superbly maintained.All the staff are very polite and attentive and could not do enough for us.One particular poolside waiter looked after our party on a daily basis (Elsawy Yousry) and we couldn’t thank him enough 👏🏻👏🏻
The food was always fresh and the meat and fish were well cooked and always warm.We are already thinking of going back there next January ☀️🕶️

This was our 2nd time there, the location is perfect, the gardens are amazing, we have had 3 different rooms and all of them were great! The value is top notch!the atmosphere is always great! It is always clean, the noise level is within normal limits, past 10pm, no noise at all, which makes sleeping perfect!
The services from the reception, restaurants, housekeeping all amazing, friendly and helpful! The amenities are always great, my husbands and I really enjoy the lazy river the most!
The choices in the buffet are the best, from Sushi night, seafood night, and everything in between. For lunch our favourite was the Bwala Pool bar and restaurant, the wait staff , bar keepers are the best there!! As you can tell, we absolutely love it here and we are going back in the fall!

My favorite place to stay.
Steigenberger Aldau has been my favorite destination for more than 10 years, and it is the hotel I visit most often. What makes it truly special is that it has consistently maintained the same high standards and quality over the years. It remains one of the most psychologically relaxing places I’ve ever visited. The atmosphere is calm, the facilities are excellent, and everything is designed for comfort and relaxation.
The staff are professional, friendly, and always attentive to guests’ needs. A special thanks to Saif for his kindness, professionalism, and for making the stay even more enjoyable.

We’ve just come back home from our third stay at Steigenberger Aldau Beach. We usually never return to the same hotel, we travel a lot and have been to many different countries — but Steigenberger Aldau truly is special.

The hotel is beautiful, with immaculately kept grounds. Gardeners work every day to maintain the lush green lawns and flowers. The property is very spacious, with a large main pool, lazy river, smaller heated pool, and an adults-only zone.

What we love most about Steigenberger is that it’s calm and relaxing, no loud music blasting all day, which we really appreciate. Yet it’s never boring. They offer aqua aerobics, morning yoga, cocktail events, cocktail classes and beach parties, but you can always find a quiet spot to relax and read a book. There is a show everyday outside the main buffet and night club next beside it. We never went to it. Also at the beach there is snooker table, football court, golf courts next to it. Lots of activities to do.

Room service cost extra charge, but still very cheap. You can get free laundry service 5 items per person per week.

The cocktails are fantastic! They use real fresh fruit purée, strawberry and mango mojitos were my favourites.

There are lots of restaurants, and most are à la carte (included in the all-inclusive package). We hate buffets, so this was perfect for us. We stayed for three weeks and only ate at the buffet a couple of times.

Tanga Beach Restaurant has a buffet from 12 pm, but you can also order from the menu from 1 pm: burgers, fish and chips, wraps, pizzas, and more.
Tanga Pool Restaurant offers seafood from the menu only, along with pastas, baguettes, hot dogs, burgers, chicken schnitzels, and fries. All restaurants have kids’ menus with pasta, nuggets, hot dogs, and burgers.

Alex Beach Restaurant is adults-only during the day; we went there for dinner when children are allowed. There’s also the main buffet serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Thai noodle restaurant is amazing, the red and yellow Thai curries are outstanding. The sushi restaurant is fantastic, and the teppanyaki is delicious too.

Tanga serves Egyptian food for dinner, while Bwala Pool Restaurant offers Italian cuisine in the evenings. Dinner reservations are required and can be made in the lobby with guest relations.

The location is excellent, with plenty of shops, pharmacies, and restaurants nearby. You can also borrow bikes from the hotel to ride around the grounds.

Rooms are refurbished and very spacious , we usually stay in a family suite, which is massive. There’s a large TV where you can connect Netflix from your phone, and free Wi-Fi that works throughout the hotel, even on the beach.

The beach itself is lovely, with comfortable loungers and umbrellas. Both the pools and beach offer full lounger service, you don’t even need to get up, as staff keep your drinks topped up.

You can also visit the sister hotel across the street, Aqua Magic. It has a small water park and slides. We went there once, but it wasn’t for us and doesn’t quite scream luxury. It felt too crowded and too loud, with slower service. There’s a reason why it’s cheaper. But to each their own, if you prefer more action, more people around you, and more noise, it might be something you’d enjoy.

The staff in Steigenberger Aldau beach are what truly make this hotel special.

The towel attendants bring towels to you and set up your umbrella. If you don’t want to be approached about spa treatments, excursions, or photos, you can ask for a red bag to hang on your umbrella, it means “do not disturb.” You’ll still receive pool waiter service.

A big thank you to Agmad, Osama, and Emad at Bwala, they were fantastic and looked after us like royalty. We formed a special bond with them; such great and funny guys!

Sara from Tanga always waved at us from afar and kept our drinks full. Kerolos and Eslam, the pool waiters, always greeted us with smiles and remembered our favourite drinks. Both Mohameds at the lobby bar (smoking and non-smoking) were hilarious , they made us laugh every time and had our drinks ready before we even asked.

Alfred at the lobby bar is such a genuine and sweet young man. And finally, the lovely lady who brought fresh tea and fruit to the loungers, I didn’t catch her name, but she was always smiling and so kind.

Hotel was spotless, the grounds perfect, everything top quality. Cannot find fault at all.

We visited for 1 week from 15th to 21nd January 2026, this was our first time in Egypt. The hotel was absolutely amazing, the grounds were beautiful and the hotel staff took great pride in their work taking care of the grounds. The rooms were excellent, a really good size with everything you could need on a holiday. Fridge was refilled daily and cleaned every day. Asked for an iron and ironing bisrd and one was sent up immediately. Good size balcony. We paid extra for a sea view but sadly we could only see a tiny glimpse behind a tree of the sea but we didn't mind as the view of the gardens and pool were beautiful. We could not fault the staff, from the moment we arrived they couldn't do enough for us, nothing was a problem and they would go above and beyond. A special shout out yo Mohammed who was our pool waiter, he was so friendly and attentive. Also Peter in the bar. The pools were amazing, unfortunately it was January so they were like ice, we didn't see anyone in them except for the one heated pool which again was fab. The hotel beach was perfect with plenty of activities. We used the hotel gym a few times and I have to say it was really good, the personal trainer was always on hand to show us how to use equipment. He even helped me by shoeing my strengthening exercises using the band for my hip pain which was excellent. We took one of his band classes outside on the beach which I loved! The restaurants were all top notch, 10 out of 10 for the food and drinks. We are definitely going to return this year. I would highly recommend this hotel

Amazing hotel! The best in Egypt, everything here is outstanding to the rooms, to the facilities, to the food and last but not least the staff. Marco is especially the best cocktail maker and is really good with magic tricks. He really makes our day special. Everything is amazing and will definitely be coming again soon!

The hotel was one of the best I have ever been to, the facilities were great and the staff was amazing especially Marco he really made our holiday special with amazing cocktails and cool magic tricks. The rooms are also great, very spacious and very clean. The food is also great with loads of variety for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Very good hotel, excellent staff, loads of facilities, very well hygiene. The bars are amazing with lots of variety of drink choices from hot drinks to cold drinks to alcohol drinks. Rooms are spacious with an amazing view from the balcony. The access to the beach is also very convenient. Marco is the best bartender in the hotel with amazing magic tricks.

The hotel is beautiful and very large. Everything was perfect from beginning to end. Ali Mostafa gave us a very warm welcome and kindly upgraded us to a better room, for which we are extremely grateful. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, the beds are comfortable, and we were very satisfied with the room cleaning.
The staff is highly professional and always ready to help. The food is diverse with a truly wide selection, so everyone can find something they like. The bar staff are very friendly and attentive, and the spa treatments are also excellent.
Overall, it was top-class service in a fantastic hotel.
