I am very satisfied with the hotel, where I received excellent services. One of my biggest surprises was a Hungarian girl who helped me on several occasions in my native language. She is reliable, kind, and thorough. Tücsök Anett, I think of you with gratitude.
The whole experience was lovely. We all had a great time. The service is impeccabley the beach is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and clean. Big thanks to Anett, who made our dinner reservations possible. 🤗
Amazing hotel the rooms were top notch ,the food was fantastic and staff very friendly you get a real feeling of luxury about the hotel and we plan to return in September
This was our 4th time Hurghada, but 1st time at Steigenberger Aldau Beach.
In one word; WOW! 🤩 the service from the people who work here, the quality and variety of the food, the beautiful gardens and swimming area. Lots of activities and sports that you can do.
This was the best stay. I highly recommend this place. Ehab Gamal was fantastic and always reminded our order. He did a great job welcoming us.
We had an amazing stay at the Steigenberger Aldau Beach Hotel in Hurghada. From the moment we arrived, we were able to fully enjoy our time and truly relax throughout the entire stay.
The staff was exceptionally friendly and always willing to help, which made our experience even more pleasant. We were especially satisfied with the housekeeping service. Yussef, who was responsible for our room, was very attentive, professional, and kind. He made sure everything was perfectly taken care of, and we really appreciated his effort.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.
Good facilities (hard infrastructure) but very POOR service.
Rude / Non Welcoming Staff
Most of the so called "all inclusive" add ons are for marketing gimmics only - they are either not available or slots are limited and not sufficient for a 400 room hotel. For eg
- 2 gadgets internet access for a 3 person occupancy room
- 10 slots for free golf lesson in a 400 room hotel
- 2+ hours to check in
- food quality - avg at best
I'd give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. The Steigenberger Al Dau Hotel is exceptional in every sense — a true gem that exceeding all expectations at every turn.
The staff alone deserve a perfect 10*. Every single team member, from the manager and reception to the night bar staff, embodies professionalism, warmth, and genuine care. They are incredibly friendly, approachable, and attentive, making you feel valued from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave. The night staff, in particular, go above and beyond to ensure everything runs seamlessly.
Housekeeping is on another level — honestly, I’ve never experienced such spotless cleanliness. The rooms and public areas are maintained to such a high standard that you could quite literally eat off the floor. It’s that immaculate. I joked about wanting to kidnap the housekeeping team because they are just that good and the standards are what i would accept in an operating theatre. The NHS needs more Egyptians to get back to that level again hard working people unfortunately my suitcase is too small lol 😆.
The food is outstanding, offering a wide variety of delicious options to suit every taste. Whether you're dining casually or indulging, the quality and choice are consistently impressive.
The facilities and grounds are equally superb — beautifully maintained, relaxing, and designed to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Everything is thoughtfully laid out, creating a perfect balance of luxury and comfort.
If you're considering a stay here, don’t hesitate — you will not be disappointed. The Steigenberger Al Dau Hotel delivers an unforgettable experience that sets the standard for excellence.
I feel I need to write another review to this wonderful hotel but would like to get the negative points out of the way first. This part lies with the Ilios Dive centre. We booked a half day trip on one of them Aldau Yachts which was booked for just the 4 of us costing us approx £270. Trip its self was good as we had a snorkelling stop & spent an hour on paradise island. On the trip,we were joined by a photographer. Problem there is they insist on taking a lot photos of you when all you wanna do is relax & enjoy the sun. Anyway, after the island visit, we wanted to relax & enjoy the last 40 minutes going back to the hotel to which the photographer took us inside to show us the photos he took & the packages he wanted to sell us. We then spent the rest of the time sorting this & as we were the only ones on the yacht, we felt a moral obligation to buy a package of him the cheapest being 80 euros to which there was no compromise on the price. This left us disappointed & sorry we booked the trip in the 1st place.
Now that’s done, on to the positives on this unbelievable hotel.
When we first got there, the reception staff were fantastic. Was lovely to be recognised as repeated guests & was put in a family room which was a small upgrade. While our room was being sorted, we had a drink in the lobby bar to which most of the bar staff recognised us which made us feel like part of the family. They all really had a massive impact on making our holiday special & are a credit to the hotel. As the weather was really good during our stay, we spent most of our days on the beach. Anyone that likes a nice beach then this is the place for you. For me it’s perfect. Plenty of beds, spotless, great staff who are quick helping you with beds, towel etc & most importantly, bar staff on hand keeping you hydrated all day.
If you are looking to venture out the hotel walking then this is a massive plus. It’s an area called Intercontinental which is on the Aldau promenade and is just full of shops, restaurants and a couple of great sports bars. City pub and a new place called the western lounge.
Never thought it was possible but the food has massively improved to what was already very good. Always spoilt for choice in the main restaurant. Lots of little touches in this which you don’t normally get in other buffets like chocolate strawberries fountain, healthy shots in the morning & a donut section as well to name a few. All the à la cart restaurants were amazing as well our favourite probably being the
Teppanyaki. Again you can’t fault the staff in any one of these as they are all fantastic.
Like I said, we were put in a family room which was facing the pool & the sea. Quite similar to our usual deluxe room but I think just a bit more room. A lot of the hotel has been refurbished so it’s all very modern looking & all have huge TVs in them. Cleaned daily to a really high standard also fridge was stocked up every day with water, beer, soft drinks, crisps & chocolate.
We never accrued any issues at all during our stay but we travelled with another couple who did have to move rooms due to some sort of noise & had a couple of issues with their safe but the issues were dealt with straight away which is another great thing about the hotel.
Another great thing about this hotel is the golf course. It’s only a nine hole par 3 course but very tricky which is why 5hey only allow experienced players on it. It’s very well looked after have a lot of staff working on it through the day . Don’t tell the wife but the highlight of the holiday was getting a hole in one. The 2 golf Pros are fantastic as well & always remember us even from the first time I went there 12 years ago when I first came here but stayed at the aqua magic .
We were going to try somewhere else next January as it’s a big birthday for the wife but it looks like we will be coming back to what we all call our 2nd home. As it’s January, it limits the weather, places to go which is why this hotel ticks all the boxes for us so it looks like we’ll be back .
Can’t really leave without reiterating how fantastic all the staff were which really is the heart beat of this hotel.
Although we loved them all, some of them really need a special mention.
Mohamed Aziz, (was on nights but is wasted there as he’s so good & experienced) just my opinion.
Alfred Haroun . Brilliant at his job & will go along way
Mohamed Esmail. Our restaurant waiter who really went above and beyond for us.
Naswe Farag, fantastic on the beach for us & kept us hydrated.
Osama. Another fantastic bar man who makes the most amazing cocktails
Analyn Rubion
Mohamed Shahat. This guy is unreal. Young & ambitious like Alfred. We will be running the place in a few years so make sure to keep hold of him.
Hope this review was informative & thanks again. I’ll be in touch very soon to book again by the looks of it
.
Just got back from a week’s stay at The Aldau Beach Hotel and I can highly recommend it.
The whole experience was amazing. The grounds are gorgeous and a pleasure to stroll around. The dining experiences were fantastic. Lots of choices in the main buffet each day and you can use various bars/restaurants, for lunches, if you choose to. The quality of the food was excellent!
The staff are amazing and go above and beyond, to ensure that your stay is an enjoyable one.
Every staff member we encountered, without exception, whether a cleaner, waiter, pool attendant or gardener, would smile and say hello or ask if everything was okay!
We enjoyed several lunches at the Bwala Pool bar, where Osama Moses? and the rest of the staff, always made us very welcome.
Probably the best “all inclusive” experience we’ve ever had.
I thoroughly recommend this place.
Thank you to all the staff that made our stay such an enjoyable experience. They’re all a credit to the Hotel.
This was our seventh visit to this hotel , which we now call our second home .
If you want a totally relaxed holiday , fantastic food , staff that will look after you above and beyond and become your friends and almost unlimited space to chill surrounded by beautiful and immaculately kept gardens , this is the place for you !
Big Thankyou to Mohamed Diab for looking after us , warm welcome every morning , setting our sunbeds up and looking after us throughout the day , big smile and always happy ,
Big Thankyou to Amgd Mouns for the morning coffee , wonderful cocktails and basically any drink you wish for , again always smiling and happy to help .
Big Thankyou to Analyn Rubion for the morning delicious fruit juice around the pool and cold flannels which smells amazing , love our chats with Mohamed , Amgd and Analyn who’ve become our friends and we look forward to seeing them each year .
All the staff at this hotel are friendly and want to make your stay at this beautiful hotel the best !
Can’t wait for us to return this September to celebrate our wedding anniversary 🤍 Enjoy your stay , you wont be disappointed .

Just returned from 8 amazing days at Steigenberger ALDAU Beach Resort.
Having read many reviews about this hotel, mostly 5 Star, I can absolutely see why.
What a really fantastic hotel. The rooms, stunning gardens, wonderful pools and lazy river, outstanding food..... and of course the BRILLIANT staff. The warm smiles, the genuine welcomes and time given to chat made for a great holiday. I wish I could name them all for special recognition, however I feel the need to mention two special people.
Amir Adel, so good in the restaurant, ensuring all our needs were met at meal times and served with the best smile. Also the funny and totally happy Sherif Ibraham, who kept the cocktails coming. Thank you both.
Such was our enjoyment of ALDAU Beach, we are already looking you book again this year.
Well done Steigenberger ALDAU Beach, fantastic and you deserve all the plaudits.
Had the most relaxing holiday ever.
Special thanks to Osama at the Bwala restaurant for making our visit extra special.
See you next time
I wanted to mention specifically Sara at the beach restaurant . We've had a lovely meal this evening and she has worked so so hard. Attentive , courteous , professional and smiley. The resort is amazing and all staff are incredible but Sara specifically has made our evening special. I could write loads more but suffice to say to management of this hotel, please recognise Sara for her amazing service.

The Secret of the Steigenberger Aldau Hotel
After spending a few days at the Steigenberger Aldau Beach Hotel in Hurghada, it became clear to me that an exceptional guest experience depends not primarily on the infrastructure—but on the operational culture.
Of course, the hotel has everything we expect from a premium resort: a stunning beach, a massive pool complex, high-quality cuisine, and a constant array of activities. However, these are now standard in many places.
The real difference lies in how the organization operates.
The staff constantly monitors guests’ reactions, proactively asks questions, and visibly strives to make every moment of service just a little better. They don’t merely “serve” guests; they consciously manage the guest experience.
From a marketing perspective, this is a textbook example of how the experience economy works: the hotel doesn’t sell rooms, but a consistently crafted experience.
And this is what ultimately becomes the most powerful brand-building tool: satisfied guests who start talking about it almost on their own, because an emotional connection to the hotel and its staff develops in them almost unnoticed.
In short: the success of the Steigenberger Aldau does not lie in a single spectacular element, but in the fact that it integrates the infrastructure, service processes, and human touch into a single, well-managed guest experience.
We’ve been vacationing at the hotel for three years now, and I see that one of the main driving forces behind it all is Mr. Dauod Abdeltawab, Rooms Division Manager, who works tirelessly, organizes, and helps the guests.
Oh, and the secret: every single one of the staff members is always smiling. But these are certainly not the professionally polite smiles acquired in training sessions. These natural smiles come from somewhere very deep inside: from their hearts.
It was a wonderful stay at Steigenberger ALDAU Beach Hotel in Hurghada. The hotel is beautiful with great sea views and a long private beach. I loved the lazy river and the large pool. The restaurants were excellent, and the staff were very friendly. A perfect place for relaxation and luxury
This hotel is absolutely beautiful and exceeded all expectations. The location is perfect right by the Red Sea with stunning views and very well-maintained surroundings. The rooms were spacious and very clean, the food was delicious with a great variety, and the staff were extremely friendly and professional. The hotel offers fantastic facilities including beautiful pools, a private beach, beach sports and activities, and even a scuba diving club which makes the experience even more special. Overall it was an amazing and relaxing holiday and I would happily recommend this hotel and return again.
Very pleasant stay. Above average food with some serious ups and few lows.
Clean, spacious, well organised, good room, great hospitality.
One letdown: the agressive massage and beauy salon sellers at the pool. No is No.
One big up: Annet Tucksok from.client relations. Professional, sharp eye and intinct feel for high end customer service. Prediction: in 10-15 years general manager of a prestigious Steigenberger icon location.
We will come back.
The hotel and gardens are amazing. It is immaculately clean and so well looked after. The staff at the Stiegenberger Aldau cannot do enough for guests and as there are too many to mention by name, I would like to thank each and every one who made our stay so special. We will definitely be returning and shall highly recommend to our family and friends.
