We visited for 1 week from 15th to 21nd January 2026, this was our first time in Egypt. The hotel was absolutely amazing, the grounds were beautiful and the hotel staff took great pride in their work taking care of the grounds. The rooms were excellent, a really good size with everything you could need on a holiday. Fridge was refilled daily and cleaned every day. Asked for an iron and ironing bisrd and one was sent up immediately. Good size balcony. We paid extra for a sea view but sadly we could only see a tiny glimpse behind a tree of the sea but we didn't mind as the view of the gardens and pool were beautiful. We could not fault the staff, from the moment we arrived they couldn't do enough for us, nothing was a problem and they would go above and beyond. A special shout out yo Mohammed who was our pool waiter, he was so friendly and attentive. Also Peter in the bar. The pools were amazing, unfortunately it was January so they were like ice, we didn't see anyone in them except for the one heated pool which again was fab. The hotel beach was perfect with plenty of activities. We used the hotel gym a few times and I have to say it was really good, the personal trainer was always on hand to show us how to use equipment. He even helped me by shoeing my strengthening exercises using the band for my hip pain which was excellent. We took one of his band classes outside on the beach which I loved! The restaurants were all top notch, 10 out of 10 for the food and drinks. We are definitely going to return this year. I would highly recommend this hotel
Amazing hotel! The best in Egypt, everything here is outstanding to the rooms, to the facilities, to the food and last but not least the staff. Marco is especially the best cocktail maker and is really good with magic tricks. He really makes our day special. Everything is amazing and will definitely be coming again soon!
The hotel was one of the best I have ever been to, the facilities were great and the staff was amazing especially Marco he really made our holiday special with amazing cocktails and cool magic tricks. The rooms are also great, very spacious and very clean. The food is also great with loads of variety for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Very good hotel, excellent staff, loads of facilities, very well hygiene. The bars are amazing with lots of variety of drink choices from hot drinks to cold drinks to alcohol drinks. Rooms are spacious with an amazing view from the balcony. The access to the beach is also very convenient. Marco is the best bartender in the hotel with amazing magic tricks.

The hotel is beautiful and very large. Everything was perfect from beginning to end. Ali Mostafa gave us a very warm welcome and kindly upgraded us to a better room, for which we are extremely grateful. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, the beds are comfortable, and we were very satisfied with the room cleaning.
The staff is highly professional and always ready to help. The food is diverse with a truly wide selection, so everyone can find something they like. The bar staff are very friendly and attentive, and the spa treatments are also excellent.
Overall, it was top-class service in a fantastic hotel.
This was our second stay at this wonderful hotel. We arrived at 4.30am after a dreadful journey, staff were waiting and welcomed us back, upgraded our room and offered us room service food, we just wanted our bed. We truly cannot fault this hotel, the staff are wonderful. Special mention to George our breakfast server, Khamir, our room attendant , the lovely lady in the ladies WC outside the buffet restaurant, so pleased she has had her baby since the last time we saw her. Too many other staff to mention but you are very much appreciated. Mohammed, the gardener does a superb job as the grounds are truly beautiful. It is lovely to return to a hotel and see familiar faces. The reception staff, business centre staff, guest services staff and bar staff in lobby, thank you for your help and friendly service. Hopefully we will return soon
Went to this hotel last year also,it is an amazing hotel, very clean, staff are also cleaning throughout the day,the gardens are immaculate, the food is also very good. The reason for the 4 stars,I booked an Elite room which was quite a bit more then a normal family room, the room is the same size which is huge,beds very comfortable, with the Elite room you get added perks, you can use the spa but need to book ,I did think thst if you only wanted to use the spa pool having to book wasn't really ideal ,you get turn down service , which is normally standard for a 5 star hotel, however this happened once during 10 days and only because I spoke to reception, it didn't happen again, you are supposed to get personalised check in/ out,you don't, it was just standard, the only good thing was a late check out, I could have paid for that anyway and saved hundreds of pounds, personally I think the Elite room is a waste of money and wouldn't recommend. The hotel itself is definitely recommend, we will be going again next year. The staff really make this hotel, they even remembered us from last year which was amazing considering how many guests they have.

Tanga Restaurant at the Steigenberger Hotel truly exceeded all expectations. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was outstanding and clearly prepared with care and high-quality ingredients.
What really made the experience exceptional was the staff. Ibrahim, Sara, Mohammed, and Islam were all incredibly professional, friendly, and attentive. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable, and their service added a personal touch that made the evening unforgettable.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food and exceptional service. We will definitely be coming back!

My mum and I spent Christmas at the Steigenberger Hotel Al Dau. It was not our first time with Steigenberger hotels, and once again the experience was perfect. We especially want to highlight the amazing service at the hotel — @Saif truly did everything for us and made our stay extra special. Great food, comfortable accommodation, lovely weather, and fantastic diving completed a wonderful holiday.

We stayed at the Steigenberger Aldau Beach Hotel with my husband and our daughter and had such a lovely holiday.
What really stood out for us was how friendly and welcoming all the staff were. Everyone was warm, helpful and always smiling, which made the stay feel very relaxed, especially travelling as a family.
A huge thank you to our butler Saif, who was honestly fantastic. He was always quick to respond, so friendly and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. He organised a special 40th birthday dinner for my husband, which was absolutely perfect and made the trip extra memorable for us. His kindness and attention really made a difference to our stay.
We left feeling very well looked after and already talking about coming back. A big thank you to the team. We will definitely return.

Do Not Waste Your Money
I cannot wait to go back home.
I travel 4–5 times a year and have stayed in many hotels, but this has been one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had.
Eight months in advance, I clearly requested a quiet room away from the main restaurant and entertainment area, with a sunny balcony. What we were given was the complete opposite.
Our first room was literally next to the main restaurant and entertainment centre—noisy and unacceptable. I requested an immediate room change before we even unpacked.
At first, we were told there were absolutely no rooms available. When I insisted on speaking to a manager, the story suddenly changed. We were then told they had just received a cancellation and that one room was available.
That room was Room 1549.
Room 1549 has absolutely no sunlight at all. Not even for a few minutes a day. The room is permanently in shade, cold, and windy. I had to wear socks and my airport clothes all day just to stay warm. This does not feel like a holiday in any way.
The service throughout the hotel is extremely poor. Staff are uninterested, slow, and often ignore guests. Guest requests are ignored, and explanations change when challenged.
The food is very disappointing—low quality, not authentic, and limited. Mostly pasta, chips, cheese, and one or two basic chicken or meat dishes. No fresh juice or nuts unless you pay extra. The bread quality is poor, and even the coffee tastes bad.
What upset me the most was the housekeeping service. While “tidying” the room, housekeeping moved my silk hair turban from the bed and placed it in the area where dirty suitcases are kept. This is extremely unhygienic and careless. Knowing that someone this inattentive is handling your personal belongings is disturbing and unacceptable.
After this incident, I was left feeling shocked, sad, and uncomfortable in the room. I no longer feel relaxed or at ease here. I just want to go back home, but unfortunately I am stuck here until New Year.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was well organized and very clean, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and always smiling, which made me feel very welcome from the first day.
The room was comfortable, clean, and well equipped, with everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The food was delicious and varied, with plenty of options to choose from every day.
The hotel area was well maintained, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. I truly enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I would be happy to come back again.
First visit to this fabulous hotel, lovely big rooms, helpful staff. We did have to ask to move rooms due to construction building work taking place next to the hotel, myself and my elderly mother arrived very late in the evening. I don't think we should have been put into the room in the first instance, we tried to stick out the noise (for two days), but it was bad. The construction workmen leave in the evening, but the machinery was left on all through the night, then we started to hear high level noise on our balcony, that was the final straw for us. However, reception quickly moved us when we played an audio of the high level of noise we could hear, including from our balcony. It was a bit of a pain for my elderly mother having to repack in preparation to move again, but we were greatful for the prompt action from reception. Regardless of this, the top score for this beautiful hotel remains and we look forward to returning. I would definitely 100% recommend a stay in this hotel, you won't be disappointed !!!!!
It’s an amazing hotel with great service. The people are great and the employees are some of the best I’ve experienced in hotels, especially Sherif Fatheh. This is my second year here and I will definitely be back next year!
