Homewood Suites by Hilton Nashville Downtown

We booked this hotel for a concert. I compared a lot of places and the hotel seemed convenient, reasonable, plus the AAA Park and Stay rate seemed like a good deal. It is advertised on the app as "AAA/CAA Members recieve 5% off the Park and Stay rate and daily parking." Well, since it is $52 dollars MORE than the Honors Discount and $40 MORE than the non-discount rate, I assumed that it would be parking included.
When we arrived, we had to give the valet a credit card, and when we checked in and I inquired about the parking discount, they had no idea what I was talking about and said that "there was a new valet service" and the rate for that was separate and they had no control over valet prices. I pressed further and they told me to speak to the manager in the morning. I indeed did. That manager seemed very solicitous, and expressed surprise at the fact that the rate was even listed on the app. He acted as if he was going to do something about it, even writing down the information. He said that he couldn't adjust our rate at all and called the head valet in to speak to us.
The head valet also acted as if he were going to do something, but said that he couldn't as the transaction hadn't gone through yet and even going so far as to give me a card with his number so that he could "take the charge off our card." The number always went to voicemail.
Bottom line, we had to eat the dishonesty, but I can't understand how people lie to your face. Nashville prices are ridiculous enough without parking price gouging. Other than that, the room was extremely La Quinta Inn quality and the breakfast was mid, the location, meh.
Avoid this place if you value integrity.

The fans in the room we checked into did not work, and the room cooling system couldn’t manage the right temperature. We asked for help and Mike B (the engineer) came to our rescue! He even found us a box fan to help with the temperature! He was a hero in our view!

Close to downtown

We went to the Frankie Rose coffee shop and Tarrika/Tamika (I read her name but the letters were connected 😭) was the only one working during a busy rush. She was so so sweet and amazing, was hustling and getting everything done quickly and efficiently, and had a good attitude while doing it all. Definitely a stressful situation to be the only one working when a rush comes in but she was very kind and our food/drinks were delicious. Thank you, Tarrika/Tamika (sorry again for the name confusion 😭) !

The Frankie Rose Coffee shop is incredible! Pinky & TT took amazing care of us our whole trip. They’re amazing & the redbull colodas they make are also amazing! If I could I’d give them 10 stars!

Good location, just a short walk to downtown area. Parking next door. Very friendly staff. Ms. Dee and Jay were especially awesome! Thanks for your assistance with physical disabilities.

Jay, the valet, was fabulous. He was incredibly fast.

Maureen at the front desk gave exceptional customer service! The accommodations were clean, comfortable, spacious, and an easy walk to broadway and restaurants!

Nice hotel in good area. Walking distance to Broadway. Updated room and nicely appointed public areas. Good breakfast offerings. Maureen at front desk very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

Great location, 5 minute walk from broadway, friendly and helpful staff, very welcoming. Had an issue with the electric blinds on arrival but got sorted very quickly after talking to the front desk.

Staff was all so very kind and helpful! Hotel was immaculate and had some historic charm. Great value for the cost. Close distance to a lot of great downtown Nashville must-sees. Definitely would stay here again!

Iced coffee was delicious! Pinky recommended an amazing iced pecan vanilla latte! Definitely worth stopping by!
