An excellent choise of hotel
Pros:

Breakfast and dinner were both very good. Our room had dual aspect views over the sea and along the shore. All the staff were very helpful. The spa facilities were very good.

Very friendly & helpful receptionists . Comfy bed. Clean. Good breakfast with fresh ingredients.

Cons:

The restaurant menu seemed very carb- heavy , so we didn’t eat there in the evening.

Wonderful love
Pros:

Wonderful hotel in the magical countryside of North Wales, right on the beach. The room was clean, with nice seating furniture. Excellent breakfast. Professional and kind staff. Tasty dinner menu and a good selection of beer and wine. When the weather allows, the big terrace is the perfect place to watch the sunset, the tide, and the gulls. A small saltwater pool and a hot sauna in the spotless wellness area are the cherry on top. I’ve loved this hotel since our first holiday many years ago. Since then, it has undergone a significant renovation, which has only highlighted its classic, historic hospitality. Ideal for love. Always and forever.

We recently stayed at The Beaches Hotel and Spa and it was exactly the breath of fresh air we needed. If you are looking for a hotel where you can truly 'unplug' while still being pampered, this is it. It is right on the Barkby Beach. The staff are courteous, special shout out to the staff at Promenade Bistro for being attentive and accommodating. Overall a well spent weekend.

Cons:

The heating at the place could be turned down. It was too hot especially when one has children.
Also they can add little more variety in food menu.

Fabulous food...
Pros:

We went and had a swim and lunch deal today. The hotel is situated on the prom, dogs welcome on the patio, the pool was lovely, no keys for the lockers ( or digital codes), the hotel decor is gorgeous and 10/10 for the food!! Fabulous food .... would definitely come here again just to eat. Oh and we forgot towels but the lovely lady on reception gave us towels. Well done The Beaches and special thanks to the chefs.
