A lovely clean inviting hotel .We opted for half board which was excellent value for money . I have an egg allergy and everything was labelled in the buffet style restuarant so I didnt get any unpleasent surprises. A good food choice with plenty of local produce adding to our Creton experience.
The rooms are clean and towels changed daily .
The evening entertainment is varied and we particularly enjoyed the Greek dancing night and good old karaoke.
The pool isnt heated like many pools so its embracing with a life guard keeping an eye . We loved the pool , clean beach towels available at reception too.
When we checked out we were offered the chance of a shower before leaving later in the day which was a fabulous and an unexpected extra .
We would return to Pearl beach location about 30 minutes walk from Rethyomon and opposite the beach .
A very welcoming hotel.
I had a wonderful stay at the Pearl Beach Hotel, from the time I arrived the staff were very friendly and accommodating, my room was clean and fresh, the food in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner was really lovely, the evening entertainment was good and there was a lovely atmosphere about the place. I really enjoyed my holiday.
Just came back from Pearl Beach Hotel after 1 week holiday in October. This is our 3rd stay in this Hotel. Location is just perfect- beach is very close (across promenade), area is at the end of shopping/restaurant street, not far from Rethymno - 2,5 km what is ok to walk but you can take a Taxi as well for 7Eur. Another option could be take a bus- stop is very close and ticket price just 1,1 Eur. Neighbor hotel is from the same owner- so you can use some services. Hotel was clean and spotless, our room #230 rooms was great and quiet, overlooking Hotel pool. Thanks to Hotel staff for changing our room. Staff was excellent and very friendly, always smiling and ready to help. The food was good and you always can find something very tasty, Thank you to all the restaurant and kitchen staff. In breakfast there was fresh orange juice, strawberry and tropical smoothy. There was some animation in the evenings. Beach is sandy but when you go into the sea there are a bit stones but if you turn 20m left then it is fully ok w/out special boots. Beach towels changing each second day and no deposit needed- great. Sea was still ok for us 21-22* C cause we are from Baltics:))).
Special Thanks to Hotel manager Nikos Karakatsanis for nice evening together with a glass of prosseco. Appriciated.
All in all – great hotel what I would like to recommend.
This was my fourth visit as we love the hotel, we were a little disappointed with our view, run down building, cleaning cupboard used early morning and noisy deliveries outside. No reward for loyalty!!
Nice hotel food good room good glad we got an upgrade though! Very clean entertainment at night in hotel was a bit limited beach was good only just across road but hard to get in water as big rocks as you enter water! All the staff were excellent in hotel couldn’t fault anyone
The hotel is located perfectly across the road from the beach.Walking around the hotel is very easy.I enjoyed the convenient ramps located everywhere which was a benefit .The hotel was spotless the cleaning staff were very high profile and the lady who cleaned the bar area was exceptional. Our room was located in block 5 this was a lovely room.It was cleaned to a high standard every day.
The food was varied, with lots of options at every meal.
The staff in the dining area were very welcoming and were managed to meet the needs of the guests
A huge shout to the bar staff.Very cheerful and helpful.
I got a room with a bathroom for people with disabilities (room 212) and it was difficult to use such a bathroom (uncomfortable toilet and sink equally difficult to use) because they are not for normal people. I will not choose this hotel again, it does not deserve its 4 stars, the food was not always fresh and there is an older waitress (45-50 years old) who is very unpleasant. The bar is very expensive you can go to the good restaurants with better food and prices.
The hotel is located a few meters from the sea, the restaurant has different types of food (including traditional), fruit and cakes at every meal, very friendly staff, clean rooms.
Location good, nice and clean very friendly staff at meal time and also the bar staff. Nothing was too nuch trouble for them.
Overall it was ok but there were a few things I didn't like:
-I didn't like the fact that the hotel doesn't serve anything to drink at dinner, not even water. I mean, I understand that if you want to drink something special, a wine or a pint of beer or a Coke, yes, it's ok to pay, but if you still have the meal included in the package, at least have water to drink
-I don't see the point in paying 7 euros for two banal sunbeds when there are free and better quality sunbeds nearby, if you buy something to drink. For example, on Bora Bora beach you sit on quality sunbeds and for 7 euros you also drink two coffees...
-You have posters for nothing saying that you can't reserve sunbeds at the pool because if you go at 12 o'clock, there are 4 people in the pool and all 50 sunbeds have towels on them
the fact that entering and leaving the hotel through the reception of the other hotel is also an unpleasant thing
-at the pool, if you don't have a sunbed reserved in the morning, you can't find a place, and if you go to the pool of the other hotel which is also there on the premises and put it back on the sunbeds there, even though half of them are unoccupied, the lifeguard comes and lifts you up from there on the grounds that you are a client of the other hotel
Very nice hotel. Good location, beachfront and walking distance to old town. Kind and friendly stuff. Good and fresh cooked food.
Wonderful place, near the beach, very nice staff.
The rooms always very clean and well kept.
Good food and good service.
The hotel inner plaza is shared with another hotel of the same brand, but a 5 stars one. Everything functions perfectly and peacefully.
We loved our stay.
Nearby, there are a lot of restaurants, shops and tour agencies.
Nice hotel. The food is god and the staff are nice and serviceminded. Nice beach and the old town senter has a lot of great restaurants and bars. We will surtenly come back later.
Just returned from 8 nights at this stunning hotel. From reception to the cleaning staff. Everything is perfect. Recommend the spa. Had 2 wonderful massages. The people are so warm and welcoming. Crete is such an amazing island. Recommend this hotel. It's a gem. Can't wait to return.
Very nice hotel and the service was excellent. It is plced in the quiet end of the road to Rethymno. The beach was also very good with pure sand.
We arrived at this hotel after 2.30 hr transfer and were very tired
Reception made us feel welcome straight away cases were taken to our room
Initially dissapointed in room size and view eg hotel opposite we adapted to it
Tbh only in there to sleep and shower
Staff were great the hotel pool and bar area were excellent The restaurant was goid for breakfast never stayed for dinner not coming to Crete to eat buffet food with so many brilliant restaurants and actually a couple just round the corner
The hotel was spotless clean towels everyday bedding changed 3 times in the week
Staff are so freindly
It is a bit of a walk to old town we did it a few times and also used taxis 7 euros
All in all we had a great time Rethymno old town is stunning
Very good location. Nice pool. Reasonable rooms for the price. Good breakfast. Helpful staff. Couple of niggles, they close the pool at six and some guests put towels on sun beds very early. Ther are a lot of nice restaurants very close by. We liked ireni.
Everything is super perfect. The location, rooms, service, cleanliness, restorant, food, bar, pools, beach, atmosphere... Very friendly and helpful stuff. I can really recommend this amazing hotel! Definitely I will come again ASAP.
We have just returned from a 2 week stay here. I can honestly say that from start to finish the holiday was excellent. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were all second to none. The food was superb and the restaurant staff all so friendly . Our room cleaner was amazing and did a remarkable job each day.
If I could make one negative comment it is the sun beds being reserved with towels and then left for hours before anybody showed up. There wasn’t a shortage of beds but to reserve all the best area is a bit unfair and the towels should be removed if left longer than an hour unused.
We will definitely return to this fantastic hotel .
What a superb find. This hotel is perfect. The food is fantastic loads of choice everyday. Thecrooms are spotlessly clean towels changed everyday. This was our first visit to Crete it didnt disappoint. The staff are fantastic very hrlpful and do friendly they cant do enough for you. Special thanks to Iro shes amazing !! If there are any downsides there are 2. Its a long way out of the centre for anyone that struggles to walk.
But i have to say the worst is the sunbeds on the beach. They are awful. We only had one day thete and our backs were crippled so terribly uncomfortable. Change the beds guys for a better quality then everything is perfect and would be 5 stars. We would come back though it didnt put us off. Thankyou gor a wonderful holiday and introduction to Crete
