Kon een optie in een reservering niet garanderen. Veel gedoe

De lokatie, midden in de stad

Cons:

Toen ik boekte, boekte ik een tweepersoonskamer omdat daar een optie was voor een groot bed. Toen ik dat had geboekt, kreeg ik een bericht dat er alleen een bevestiging kan worden gegeven voor een groot bed bij aankomst. Dit is tegen de EU regels waarbij een klant de reservering moet krijgen die hij heeft geboekt. Er stond niet bij de boeking dat dit niet gegarandeerd kon worden. Anders had ik een eenpersoonskamer geboekt. Wat zou ik als eenpersoon twee bedden nodig hebben? Booking.com belde ze maar gaf een reactie dat ze het niet konden bevestigen. Ik weer gebeld en toen zeiden ze dat het hotel een "note zou klaar leggen als ik kwam". Ik kreeg echter bericht van het hotel zelf dat ze dit niet konden garanderen. Weer gebeld met booking.com en werd het pas geregeld.

Het is nu twee keer gebeurd dat ik een hotel via booking.com boek waarbij die optie wordt aangeboden voor een tweepersoonsbed. Als je dan boekt en betaalt dan krijg je ineens het bericht dat het niet gegarandeerd kan worden. OF je zet op de website bij het boeken dat het niet gegarandeerd kan worden OF je haalt die optie weg. Hiermee creëer je onrust bij de klant. Ook dat het hotel bleef volhouden terwijl dit makkelijk geregeld had kunnen worden (ik had betaald dus de kamer moet gewoon gereserveerd worden) wekte grote irritaties op.

wonderful hotel
Pros:

The location of the hotel is excellent, close to the main places in the city. We only walked, no need to take a taxi or metro. The hotel is great. Excellent breakfast. The staff is very helpful and kind. And the room we took was spacious with access to the balcony. Two rooms with a connecting room are excellent for 4 people
