Good location. Wonderful, friendly staff.
The years are showing and even though it's well-cleaned, it's looking worn.
“The staff were friendly, and the location was great.”
“We did notice a few empty soap containers, and not all menu items were available, especially the French onion soup.”
The river view
Should have been demolished. Old and decrepit, but great view of the river.
Location was good
Slow breakfast service, room was dated but not charming like it used to be, staff slow but also not around (no one was there when time to check out and we waited for a few mins before just leaving), had a terrible sleep because the pillows were very lumpy and uncomfortable. Breakfast was so-so and not worth it.
Breakfast was good but the woman who was on duty acted like we were a bother, no smile, "just the facts m'am"
front desk staff were very accommodating, the wait staff at breakfast acted like we were a bother to her.
Location. Grounds/landscaping. Restaurant patio.
Room cleanliness. Lack of hot water in shower. Dinner and breakfast food.
Good location good breakfast
Leaving the next day
The reception staff was cold and unwelcoming. The breakfast was the worst I have ever been served over cooked and cold.
This place has lost the charm and warmth it had a decade back. To bad .We will never grace this establishment again
I did not take breakfast
N/A
Every thing was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I recommend the hotel for everyone who wants to spend relaxing and enjoying time.
Complimentary order off the menu breakfast was awesome, better than most "do it yourself" breakfast's with a toaster, coffee machine and a yogurt cup. We also brought our bicycles with us on our stay and they let us keep them in their conference room on the main floor. Nice touch. Also, we walked to everything close by. We did not move our vehicle for our whole stay. Parking included in room price was nice also.
Our room location at the Gananoque Inn was not that great. It was on the third floor (no elevators) down at the farthest end of the hallway overlooking a parking lot. For a three night stay, there were probably better rooms available. The room was clean and nice itself, just the location in the hotel could have been better.
Bed was comfy. Breakfast was quite delicious.
Service on the patio deck was appalling. Almost nonexistent. Took 1 hour to get a single beer and pay for it on a very hot and sunny afternoon. There were only a few patrons so don’t really understand the massive delays?
Location
The room seemed too crowded
Love the location and private dack facility.
Cleanliness in the hotel could've been better, after paying almost 300$ per night.
