Schöner Kurzaufenthalt zum abschalten, nette Leute und schöne Umgebung
Pros:

Das Meer liegt direkt vorm Hotel, im Sommer gibt es eine betonierte Liegefläche mit Holzliegen und ein kleines Stückchen Wiese. Das Hotel ist durch eine Durchzugsstrasse vom Meer entfernt - diese ist aber nicht viel befahren. Piran und Portoroz sind zu Fuss gut erreichbar und das Auto steht auf einem Hoteleigenen Parkplatz. Die Aussicht vom Zimmer ist der Wahnsinn und auch die Lobby sieht sehr schick aus. Das Personal ist sehr bemüht. In unserem Zimmer wurde das Zustellbett für unseren Sohn vergessen - dieses wurde aber innerhalb von 10 Minuten aufgebaut. Das Hallenbad ist sehr schön. Die riesengroße Glasfront gibt Ausblick aufs Meer. Der Salzwasserpool ist zwar nicht sehr warm, aber wenn man sich etwas bewegt ist das schon in Ordnung. Der Pool liegt im 9. Stockwerk.

Cons:

Wir waren vom Essen etwas enttäuscht. Wir hatten nur am Anreisetag das Abendessen dazugebucht, das war dann aber auch genug. Wir hatten allerdings auch das Pech dass sehr viele "Busfahrten" zur gleichen Zeit da waren - und das ältere Semester hatte anscheinend immer Angst zu verhungern. Nachgefüllt wurde eher langsam - jetzt haben wir gegessen was noch da war. Das Salatangebot hat mich nicht wirklich überzeugt und auch geschmacklich hätte ich mir mehr erwartet. Die restlichen Tage haben wir in den umliegenden Restaurants gegessen - sehr gut, ausreichend und preisleich absolut in Ordnung. Beim Frühstück war das selbe Spiel - fertiger Obstsalat aus der Dose, frisch waren nur die Annanasstückchen bzw die Zuckermelone. Gemüse gab es kaum - ich hab nur etwas Paprikastreifen gesehen. Die Saftbar war gut, der Kaffee am ersten Tag war kalt - dürfte aber ein technisches Problem gewesen sein, war dann die restlichen Tage in Ordnung. Das süße Buffet war dagegen immer gut befüllt, ausreichend und abwechselnd (Pancakes, Omlette, Pfannkuchen und Schmarrn in jeder Variation, Muffins, Kuchen und Dounats).
