Pros:

We had a family room which worked well - a double and a twin room and shared a bathroom. We were just over night to get the ferry. The room was very clean and the hotel well located. Our only complaint would be the smell of smoke everywhere. It is a non smoking hotel but the smell of smoking came in through the air con from the court yard and was so strong it woke me up in the early morning. It is a shame as other than that this is a good little hotel and much quieter than I thought it would be. The breakfast was also fine so overall good value if you don’t mind the smell of smoking!

Best hotel in Volos
Pros:

We always go back to this wonderful hotel where we get exceptional, personal service.
It’s situated in a perfect central location on the Volos waterfront, especially if one is catching a ferry to the Sporades islands.
Spotless rooms and a great breakfast buffet selection.

Didn’t live up to the advertising
Pros:

Disappointing hotel that promised a lot but didn’t deliver. Our rooms only windows, one each, were tiny and looked into an internal atrium so rooms were artificially lite all the time. Room was comfortable but noisy. Positive was breakfast was lovely and staff friendly

Beautiful hotel, excellent service
Pros:

Beautiful renovated hotel, the staff are very friendly and helpful. We arrived late in the night but the receptionist was super nice and gave us a lot of tips for sightseeing in the area as well as the islands we are planning to visit. Excellent breakfast! All in all a very comfortable and rememberable stay in hotel Aegli and a great start of our holiday, thank you! ❤️

Nice 2-night stay
Pros:

The room was large and clean. The Receptionists were very friendly. The hotel is exactly outside the port's parking that also contains a fast charger for EVs. Hotel is collaborating with the Parking at less thN half cost. There are also 3 free hotel parking spots on the road and another 3 at a low cost using the city's parking app. Hotel also offered 3 bottles of water, carnonated lemonade and 1 non-carbonated orange juice (refreshments) in the minibar for free.

Pros:

Right in front of the port, ideal for early morning departure. Close to pedestrian area, on the beachfront. Hotel must have been recently refurbished, spotlessly clean. Beautifully decorated. Good choice of quality items for breakfast.
