L'hotel ha caratteristiche interessanti ma non ha decisamente soddisfatto le aspettative.
Pros:

Posizione ottima. Vista mare ed harpa concert hall, e ad un passo dalle vie principali della città. Posizione decisamente buona. Anche la colazione, in una bella sala con vista all'ottavo ed ultimo piano è decisamente apprezzabile.

Cons:

Ho preso una stanza "vista mare" ma di mare si vedeva molto poco. Le foto dal sito mostrano la vista dalle camere veramente fronte mare. La mia stanza era laterale e di mare si intravedeva un piccolissimo pezzo, come si vede dalla foto. Decisamente diverso da quanto ci si aspetta guardando il sito che mostrano la vista delle stanze rivolte direttamente sul mare... Altro problema la temperatura; la stanza era sempre abbastanza fredda. Altro problema l'armadio praticamente inesistente. Due mini ripiani, tipo mensole, su cui era decisamente mettere i vestiti portati. Lo "zerbino" all'ingresso della stanza, su cui appoggiavamo le scarpe entrando in stanza, naturalmente sporco (fuori c'era le neve), il secondo giorno l'abbiamo trovato ripiegato nel bagno e non sostituito. Non ci siamo proprio.

Pros:

Ich habe dieses Hotel bereits 2024 mit 10 Punkten bewertet. Dies kann ich nicht aufrecht halten. 2024 hatte ich ein Zimmer mit Meerblick in der 6. Etage. Diesmal war es die 2. Etage, wobei es sich um das Stockwerk handelte, das in Deutschland die 1. Etage wäre. Der Meerblick war hier vordergründig der Blick auf die Straße. Das Hotel sollte sich wirklich überlegen, ob man diese Zimmer bereits als „seaview“ anbieten kann.

Spektakulär ist natürlich weiterhin der Blick aus dem Frühstücksraum in der 8. Etage.

Cons:

Die Räume sind recht abgewohnt. Das Zimmer hatte extrem schmutzige Fenster.

lautes überschätztes Stadthotel = nicht wieder!
Pros:

+ Sehr freundlicher Empfang (hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter)
+ Parken am Hotel kostenlos (allerdings: Es gibt nur 5 Parkplätze = wir hatten Glück)
+ Frühstück noch ok (bei 4-**** erwarte ich aber mehr!!!)
+ gute Beleuchtung (auch im Bad)

Cons:

- Ausstattung vom Hotel eher einfach ("Desniger-Sessel" zum Sitzen ungeeignet)
- Dusche im BAD unmöglich (Halbkreis aus Plastik = das gesamte Bad wird nass )
- renovierungsbedürftig (Teppich auf dem Flus abgewohnt) = keine 4-**** Ausstattung (max. 2!))
- Preis-/Leistung einfach ungenügend - vor Ort praktisch keine Parkplätze verfügbar
- lautes Umfeld (die ganze Nacht fahren Autos)
- vom Hotel wird man mit E-Mail vollgemüllt (10 Stück = Unverschämtheit)

Lovely position, excellent staff, great for a short stay
Pros:

The location was good - right by the Old Harbour, opposite the Harpa Concert Hall, near bus stops and a short walk from the main shopping street. Breakfast was good with quite a lot to choose from. All the staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. Wonderful views from the bar.

Cons:

The room was small in spite of being the largest category they had. The view would have been lovely of the harbour but the windows of our room were filthy on the outside. Breakfast is held in the bar and was busy and cramped - difficult not to bump into others. Also quite difficult to find breakfast items as they were put out on and around the bar. The toilet in our top of the range room had a crack in it and the bathroom looked tired. The hotel is by the harbour but you do have to cross several busy roads to get waterside.

Good base for a short stay but probably would look for a cheaper option next time.
Pros:

Great location and views from the restaurant/roof terrace. Hot tub on the spa was heaven after a day in the cold.

Cons:

Rooms were very small for the price, not really anywhere to put anything.

Helpful, friendly staff and great location.
Pros:

The location was incredible and really is perfect for watching the northern lights. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with a great view and very clean. We only wish we’d had more time to try the hotel bar and spa.

Cons:

Sadly, our bath had a leak so flooded the floor. However, these things do happen and the staff were incredible. Once we had reported it, we were given plenty of towels to mop it up and the issue was resolved in less than 20 hours.
We were also let down with a pre-booked taxi and the hotel staff arranged one for us.
They were truly fantastic and turned something that could’ve been a negative into a positive.
