Good location but feels budget
Pros:

Convenient location & friendly staff, reasonably priced car park just round the corner from the main entrance. Sky bar was a the best feature about the hotel, providing sufficient happy hour service too.

Cons:

The room was much, much smaller than expected, we struggled to even open our suitcase and also open the bathroom door. The sound insulation is also terrible, with the room door shut and locked you hear all other people on your floor walking, talking etc in their rooms! For the price we paid, I'd just expect a little more privacy.

The staff was great! Very helpful and nice, and the breakfast was amazing. Perfect location with two bus stops less than 3 minutes walk

Enjoyable stay
Pros:

great location close to all bars , restaurants , museums etc.
Small room but clean tidy and warm .Only complaint was poor shower pressure .Staff were fantastic , helpful both at reception and at Sky bar
Good breakfast - make use of Happy hour at sky bar nice snacks and great views .Everything is Iceland is expensive but i found this hotel good value for money

The kindness of the front desk staff.
The bar on 8th floor, great view and great cocktails.
Room very clean.

Cons:

Don’t take American Express.
Make you pay the local taxes as soon as you arrive while you already prepaid the room !!
Small room, small window.
Make me pay 5€ for an espresso at breakfast😓while I paid for breakfast with the room.
That’s a shame!
And very basic breakfast! Especially with a disgusting coffee, not drinkable..
Spent 4 nights, only able to take one breakfast out of four, cause get up very early to go to excursions, no refund for the unused breakfasts ! Give you a baby croissant at the front desk !!!!!!

Wonderful hotel near the waterfront
Pros:

Great location. 1 minute from bus stop 5. Where you can get dropped off or picked up by the flybus or any tours that you book. Directly opposite the sea front for boat tours . Around 5-10 minutes to bars and restaurants. The room was spotless. Comfy bed. Kettle in room. Bathroom with a bath. And underfloor heating in rooms if required. Fabulous breakfast and lovely staff. Bar on the top floor with sea view. Highly recommended.

Epic vacation!!
Pros:

Breakfast was good, location to town was great,walkable, and room the view was absolutely beautiful.

Cons:

Only 2 downfalls was the shower. It is not a shower stall. Everything in the bathroom gets wet and you have to squeegee the floor dry and then dry with a towel. The hotel is noisy but not noisy where you can’t sleep.
