STAY AWAY
Pros:

I received an email the day that I was checking in letting me know that there would be renovations being done during my stay between the hours of 10am and 6pm. I was given the option to cancel. Why was this email sent the day of? I am sure the hotel knew way before then, that renovations were being done. No, time was given to allow me to reschedule somewhere else needed. During my stay I woke up to drilling outside of my room before 8am. I confronted the workers and was shrugged off. I went to call the front desk and there was no dial tone on the phone. The time before when I stayed at this Marriot, the hot water was off. Again I was notified on the day of I was checking in. I would suggest no one stay here. I would never stay again.

Pros:

Localização muito boa, próximo às principais atrações na boardwalk.

Cons:

Oferecem café da manhã, mas no dia de nossa estadia, falam q não haverá café!

The receptionist was really rude the line was around the corner I booked the room it clearly says pay when you get there they tried to take the payment out in my card was locked because of all the scam and that's going on so when I get there it was about three of a couples ahead of me who room wasn't ready because they needed to be cleaned and I let her know my card was locked the receptionist repeatedly said out loud your card was declined in a very sarcastic way I said because it was locked it said you don't pay until there so my room was giving away and I had to find somewhere else to stay at the last minute. The receptionist was nasty not friendly then she went to get the supervisor who was even worse with the professionalism don't go here they don't give a damn 👎👎👎

Cons:

It was nothing to like very unprofessional they did not care about having your room done in a timely fashion and mind you it was three of a couples because it was the week of the Fantasia show who room wasn't together or for whatever reason the rooms was not what they ordered online some people had double beds when they ordered a king room it was just a mess try at your own risk.

They should host customers when they finish remodeling.

We booked another night to enjoy more of the area.
Pros:

We were within walking distance of many attractions. The front desk woman was helpful, courteous and kind.

Cons:

My service dog found food left in the room on the floor. The parking lot gate did not lock.

They did not tell us about the remodeling work being done outside our room till after we arrived. Overload of dust from Sheetrock they were cutting …. The AC did not work at all. Room was over 80 degrees all night .. no water pressure in the shower… had to take the lid off the toilet and pull the handle to get it to flush…

Excellent Experience
Pros:

I am compelled to write this review because I think this Courtyard Marriott is the best kept secret in Atlantic City. I am staying here for the Bar Exam (Feb. 2026) and of course there is a Blizzard. The staff was absolutely amazing. They are friendly and very welcoming. They got me into my room quickly and anything I needed during my stay was never a burden. To say that they went above and beyond is putting it mildly. I need to shout out Amber, Mike, and Elijah.

For the price, the rooms are nice and honestly I do not have one complaint. I hope someone at Marriott reads this review and shouts this team out because they deserve it!!!!

Unpleasant facility that needs major maintenance but the staff was accommodating.
Pros:

The facility was clean, and there was a nice large parking lot. The staff was helpful and understanding.

Cons:

First room we checked into was not made up (not clean, no sheets, no pillows). The second room we checked into had a toilet that didn’t flush and a sink that didn’t drain. We had to lift the top cover off the toilet and flush it manually. One of the outlets in the room was hanging out of the wall with exposed wires. We got stuck in the elevator and the elevator was not shut down by the staff after we got stuck and informed them. Several other guests we spoke to got stuck in the elevator as well. The roof was leaking in the parking lot leaving a pool of ice and water right outside the back entrance.
