Beachside Hotel

The hotel staff was excellent. Very nice and courteous. While the property itself is dated, the owners have updated the flooring and the rooms are painted. Most importantly, the rooms were clean. The complimentary breakfast was adequate albeit basic with microwaveable egg sandwiches, grits, pop tarts, toast, and yogurt. The coffee was very good. Ice machine was functional and provided plenty of ice for our needs. I wish the cost was a bit lower but, understand that costs are higher during events.

This was our 2nd stay. We liked the atmosphere so much that we came back !! Cozy- Beachy -friendly and comfortable 😃24 Coffee Machine is a plus

Nice hotel with amazing views if you get an oceanfront room. Friendly staff and great service! My husband and I asked for ice cube trays and within a few minutes, a lady came to our room with a couple of them. Their 24/7 coffee machine with many (free) coffee options is nice to have. Pet friendly. We’ll come back!

Super cute boutique hotel with decent breakfast I’m talking oj and cappuccino machine with “grab & go” style food. A lot of options! Decor is wonderful. Beach chairs on your own private patio. Modern Kitchenette. General manager is wonderful. Price point is spot on.

Fantastic location! Just south enough to be away from the bustle and party atmosphere of Daytona Beach with the beautiful Atlantic Ocean beach right outside! Parking is free and so were the amazing sunrises! The staff members were all very friendly and helpful. And it's a perfect hotel for those travelling with a pet (even has free dog treats in the lobby, and a small dog park near the pool). And who doesn't love that amazing, fresh ground coffee machine offering so many varieties of coffee 24/7!?!
For this being an older building, there may be things that don't match or could use a bit of painting and updating, but the Beachside staff has really tried to think of everything to accommodate guests. With little touches like a small library of borrowable books, to children's beach & pool toys, to a grill to cook out, and those two relaxing swings near the entrance, as a guest, those special touches mean a lot. The Continental breakfast offers a nice variety of hot and cold foods and is ready promptly at 6:00am.
The rooms had well equipped kitchens, nice cold refrigerators, plenty of hot water and comfy beds. The AC/Heater worked well. It was a quiet hotel, with exception of the family above us, but they quieted down well before bedtime. We weren't fans of the neighboring guests who woke every morning to smoke marijuana on their balcony and then repeat that in the evenings.
But to sit on our balcony and see the sun rise each morning and to watch dolphins playing and feeding near the shore was so relaxing and inspiring!
The one downside to staying in a pet-friendly hotel (we are not dog owners) was that our room seemed to have a "wet dog" smell to the linens and chairs. But our overall stay was very nice.

It is very tired. Vending machine empty, ask at desk for something to drink, nothing. Tv not working, no phone in room to call desk.
Coffee machine quit, nice lady said sorry, "having problems with it". She did restart it.

If you want nothing special, no service but a cheap place to sleep, it is OK.

The best view anyone could ask for!!! You can leave your balcony door open and just listen to the ocean ❤️ Rooms were decent in size and clean. You won’t be disappointed!!!!

The property had a great balcony view of the ocean. It was in a quieter location, which was nice. The beach wasn’t as busy compared to other areas in the Daytona area. There was outdoor facilities to use like a charcoal grill, loungers, tables and chairs, and the pool was good size. The room is dated, but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was a fridge, microwave, and stovetop burners with kitchen items to use to cook. Out front, they had some cute and comfy sitting options where we ate our breakfast. We would absolutely stay here again.

First visit to this was 2016. This was my 7th yearly trip since. I always book a full week as a couple days is never enough. Owners are personable and so down to earth. Employees are all friendly and helpful and I adore Dawn. I always get an ocean front view with a balcony so when not in the ocean or pool I can just sit and look at the ocean. The price is great. Rooms are clean. Love that there's kitchens for longer stays. Very much a family vibe. Pet friendly as well. Simply can't say enough good things about this place. Already looking forward to next year.

No complaints at any point. We have stayes here multiple times and will be back again!

I could go on and on how great this place was....
We got in early, and our room was not ready. They booked us into another room, and that was amazing. The room was great,a view to die for. Very clean, and each and every person on the staff was so nice and welcoming. We will definitely be going back.

The location of the property was really great and we went when there wasn't many people. Rooms were quiet and faced the ocean. We stayed on the 5th floor which was the top and the property had an elevator. Having a small kitchen was great. It had a stove top but no oven and the refrigerator was full size. There was a small dog area on the 1st floor that was convenient for letting the dogs do their business and they provided bags.

The continental breakfast was ok. Had your typical waffles, toast, yogurt but didn't have cereal and no milk. Who can eat a waffle without milk? Only had grits when there were 50 people. Don't understand that one. We don't drink coffee but there was a coffee machine that had many coffee choices.

The pool was nice and they provided beach amenities including pool noodles, boogie boards, and sand buckets, etc.

The worst part of our stay was that the beds were foam and so uncomfortable!! We woke up feeling like we had been beaten with a baseball bat!!

The staff was very nice and accommodating.

It's unfortunate but I don't think we will be staying here again unless they change out the mattresses!

Great smaller motel. Good location. Super nice people working the front desk. Almost all rooms oceanfront.
Two minor issues. Parking can be difficult. At capacity I belive they might be short a parking spot or two.
Breakfast is a bit weak, Ive had worse, but they could add a few more options.

Great place to stay..having been coming there for years...pool was completed after storm so we're so glad to be able to stay again!

The building is old, and it seemed to have relatively poor maintenance. They dont offer maid service during your stay, if you have "too much" trash youre charged an extra fee, you can put one bag out in the morning or you have to take it to the dumpster yourself. All the stairwells smell like wet dog and is piled with air conditioning units and used as storage, and every evening for the entirety of our stay the smell of marijuana was overwhelming when sitting on the balcony. Front desk staff didnt really speak when you were in the lobby, and no overnight front desk staff was available. The bathtub drained incredibly slow, and the water took awhile to get hot and that was if you didnt turn on the cold at all. The room wasnt very clean imo, but there's guest cleaning supply stations on each floor if you'd like to clean your own. Theres a list of things you're charged extra for that wasnt listed on the original booking.The location and ocean view was great but I wouldnt stay here again.

Beds were surprisingly comfortable, rooms are good size and clean, all of the staff we met were friendly and courteous. The only thing we didnt like (personal preference) were the type of chairs on the balcony.

Found our weekend beach hotel! Fantastic! Love the vibe, so cute and cozy! All the beach decor is perfect. Breakfast was phenomenal and their coffee machine is amazing. They treated our fur baby as if she lived there. Great job on the remodel.
