Bahama House

Our experience was amazing per usual!! The hotel is always clean, The housekeeping staff is always friendly and Phoebe is absolutely great at what she does!! We will be back again next year for sure! We love the bahama house!

Beautiful motel and our room was amazing oceanfront our room had a balcony with a couple of seats and a little table. We would be at about 7:15 in the morning, watching the sunrise over the ocean. our beds were comfortable. The shower was great and the little kitchenette and refrigerator was very useful. I hope someday we get to come back because we will stay in this motel.

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The room was so much more than expected, the size and design and setup was everything.

It would’ve been nice to have a restaurant and bar, but the happy hour is a great offer but unfortunately we didn’t get to utilize it while there.

Breakfast had a variety to offer and I was satisfied, but it would’ve been nice to have a meat included in breakfast, such as sausage, bacon, ham or something.

Maybe cooked grits instead of the packets, but at least that was an option.

Staff were very friendly, helpful and expeditious when assisting. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Love the Bahama House. We have stayed there many times, cleanest hotel on the beach. Great staff from from front desk to maid service. Breakfast and cocktail house out great. We will be back in June 2026

Our very favorite place to stay in Daytona. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very nice with a great view and the rates are very reasonable. We keep coming back again and again. I highly recommend the Bahama house.

What a find! And right on the beach! This beautifully kept hotel, with its bright Floridian coral colors, features huge rooms with great views of the Atlantic and expanse of shoreline, clean, brightly lit bathrooms, laundry facilities, and more. There's plenty of free parking for guests. Highly recommended if you're coming to Daytona.

Photography amenity was great! The photographer was super professional and accommodated us and our daughter with special needs. The hotel was amazing!

Esdras was wonderful to work with and we really appreciated the time and effort he made for our family photos he was a joy! ☺️

Stayed here for a girls trip. Great view from our balcony right on the beach. Pool, hot tub and happy hour were nice perks. Nick and Nashua at the front desk were very helpful. Will stay here next time in Daytona.

Indoor parking garage was a plus to keep off to salt spray.

We stayed here for 3 nights, after Thanksgiving; and before our annual Orlando stay.
The facility is clean and well-maintained; and our check-in was welcoming and efficient (a shout-out to the front-desk lady, who was friendly, helpful and informative).
Our room was comfortable, spacious, and provided a pleasant retreat during our time in Daytona; with the well-appointed kitchenette being a welcome convenience.
And, most importantly to us, the ocean view was magnificent. (It's only drawback being, it made it difficult to leave the room for other activities.)
The complimentary breakfast was decent.
We last stayed overnight in Daytona, during the week we became engaged; more than a 1/2 century ago. Obviously, things have changed a bit since then.
If we return again to the area (in the near future, as we hope); staying at this location would be our first choice.

I stayed at Bahama House for 3 nights in early January during a visit to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (15-20 minutes away). I was very impressed and would certainly stay there again. I was in a 2-queen oceanfront room with kitchenette on the 8th floor.

Excellent:
+ Reasonably priced (took advantage of a special offer)
+ Ample parking (there is above and below-ground parking)
+ The hotel is super clean
+ Reliable and fast elevators (2)
+ Friendly staff
+ Room was spacious and very clean
+ Great view of the beach from my room
+ Kitchenette was just the right size
+ Comfortable beds
+ Plenty of storage for clothing
+ Long wide shelf under the bathroom sink/counter for storing toiletries

Needs improvement:
+ Hot tub was out of service all days
+ Breakfast was adequate but could be improved with a hot meat (bacon/sausage), a waffle maker (there were pancakes), and better coffee.
+ Open a coffee station in the lobby (or breakfast area) earlier in the morning
+ Bathroom shower water pressure was underwhelming
+ Bathroom toilet is commercial-grade and powerful, but could use a lid/cover because there’s a towel hanging rack directly above it
+ Some of the 3-prong electrical outlets were a little loose in terms of gripping a plug

And finally, be aware of the hotel's proximity to the nearby traffic light. When arriving at the hotel from the north (hotel will be on the left side of the street), one has to slow down approaching and going through the traffic light and use a little caution moving into the center lane (if you choose) for the turn into the hotel's parking lot. The center lane is technically just a left turn lane for oncoming traffic. It's not difficult but you do have to be alert. Use Google Street View to review.

The only reason I didn't do a 1 star is because of the customer service received. Online photos are AI. The room I booked was definitely not the room I received. Rhe room had a funny smell (burned candles), no separate sitting area. Great location but I would not stay here e again unless updates are made

Great view of the beach from my room and a great room layout. Kitchenette was nice and definitely enjoyed the availability of real cups and glasses in the room.
The only thing that could have improved my stay would have been the availability of coffee downstairs earlier in the morning. I had to depart early both mornings and so could not get coffee in the lobby prior to my departure.

We stayed here last year and it was great so we couldn't wait to return this year for a few days. This hotel is super, right on the beach with great ocean views. The place is really clean and comfortable with nice amenities. Really nice large rooms with comfortable beds a complimentary happy hour every evening and and a nice breakfast every morning. The clean and relaxing pool and whirlpool spa really made the stay special along with a great staff especially Jane at the front desk who was very helpful. We would advise anyone planning on staying in the area to give Bahama House a try, you will enjoy the stay. We look forward to our next visit.

Every thing was wonderful? Nice and fresh looking. The rooms and the balconies look like they were freshly painted, along with new carpet. The two queen beds were very comfortable. I enjoyed the complementary breakfast and the happy hour in the early evenings. I love the equipped kitchenette and the full-size refrigerator in our room. Our view was outstanding with the most gorgeous sunrises. Close to shopping and restaurants.

We had the best experience this morning with Esdras taking our photos. Such a fun time that we will always remember!! I highly recommend

The room was clean and fully furnished. The view couldn't have been better! The complimentary breakfast had a large variety of selections. Staff was friendly. Great location. Comfortable bed and sitting area.

Always a pleasure!! Our group stays at the Bahama House for our weekend golf outing and the sales team makes it so easy for us, handling all of the details. And you can't beat the rooms with their views! We've stayed here 3 years in a row now...looking forward to 2026.

Great place to stay. Friendly staff, spotlessly clean, great views, great location. Underground free parking is a bonus. Good size rooms, mini kitchen (stove top, sink, dishes, apartment full size refrigerator - can cook and eat in or eat out. Lots of good restaurants nearby.
