Very clean hotel. Friendly staff.
Pros:

I was pleased with my stay. The individual in the room next to us kept slamming the door and going up and down the hall.

Cons:

Having to pay for parking. I think with the cost of the room you shouldn't charge for parking.

Will look elsewhere for next trip
Pros:

The good. Pool was great. Breakfast was also very good. Most of staff personal interactions were very positive. Lobby cleaned well. Private decks with great view of ocean.

The bad. Lobby coffee was cold in evening, needed to be microwaved in the evening. (Fresh hot coffee was brought out around 8 PM or so. ) There was no drinking water available in lobby area other than buying bottled water after the breakfast area was closed.. The rooms were not attended to daily. Only notice on this was a small note on mirror in the bathroom. Rear entrance is through tiki bar and is not wheelchair accessible as ramp ends with 2 stairs to climb.. the Tiki bar closed early so that access to hotel was closed early too. Per other reviews, parking is very limited. Foot rinse after Beach walk trickles water at best. More pressure would be good. Room key security is questionable. Went to wrong room once and our key opened a near by room door to surprise of guests in that room.

Summary. Overall cost/benefit was questionable. With so many options in area I'll likely try different hotel next visit. This hotel is showing it's age.

Cons:

Floors are very creaky and neighbors below complained about us walking to go to the bathroom when we got in late. They said we were stomping… yeah cause we are elephants. 🙄

Would never stay there again
Pros:

Very run down. The motel smelled of propane gas. The room smelled like stale cigarette smoke. Shower amenities (bath gel and conditioner) were empty. When this was reported, we were told there was no housekeeping that day. However, they did come in and make the beds and freshened towels. When reporting that our luggage rack was broken, was told that they couldn’t help as they going to be full over the weekend (it was Tuesday). There is no access to the beach from the motel. This motel left me with a bad overall impression of Daytona Beach.
