Location
I recall Bookings.com stating breakfast included however its just a coffee bar with granola bars. Misleading. Also, booked for 2 days but later found I only need to stay one night. I requested a refund for the 2nd night but hotel never responded back. Third, the refrigerator was so loud I couldn’t fall asleep. Sounded like a frieght train!!
No plates or silverware provided. No coffee maker in the room. Absolute bare minimum.
Nothing
Horribly run down. Filthy floors, walls, chairs in room. Uncomfortable mattresses. Nightstand drawer was taped to kerp it from opening. Lots of dog feeces that surrounded the 1st floor outside.
It’s gone down in quality and value for money
The room had a horrible odour, faucets leaked, lights from AC unit flashed all night. Unsavoury people roaming the hallways. We didn’t feel safe.
When we 1st checked in there was no water in the building , so we left the premises for a couple of hours. When we got back there was water, But the bath tub wasn’t draining and the water from the bath tub faucet was dripping! We were able to change rooms! They did accommodate us with no problems, the next morning there was NO WATER again. (The hotel said it was the local water and power company) . We left and were unable to shower!!!!!! We had to brush are teeth and clean our faces with 12 ounce bottled water. I ask the front desk if we’re we going to be compensated. The called me back apologizing, and said the would refund me $50.00 dollars back to my account. But Booking.com needs to get in touch with the hotel in order for me to get the refund! How will I go about getting my $50.00 refund????? The staff tried to be as helpful as they could be . I will wait for Booking. Com response about my refund.
Location to my destination was fine. That was not breakfast they should remove that from there site.
Actual running water would have been nice, was forced to check out early. The broken glass that stabbed my foot should have been dealt with before I got there but was not.
Not a damn thing. It was disgusting.
It was dirty, it smelled, furniture was broken, walls were dirty, walls had holes in them, the refrigerator looked like it came out of the dumpster, the list goes on and on, and on, and on, and on. And the fact that it was a halfway house didn’t help.
The location was handy... close drive to the beach.
Breakfast was really weak. No bath mat or anything on the tub floor to keep from slipping. Dangerous, I think. Tiny pillows and ask for a couple more but they stated they didn't have any extra. Queen bed should have queen pillows.
Could not see the motel sign from the road, covered by trees.
Not much.
The room had only one small bar of soap. The kitchen had no utensils. The stove had two burners that were covered. The bed didn't seem like it was Queen size, only one sitting chair. The lobby was dirty, the whole carpet in the lobby and all the way down the halls were filthy dirty with dog hair all over the place. The second floor was filthy dirty with dog hair as well. The checked us in about 2 hours late, Gave us a room that was dirty: no bed spread, pillows all over the room, smelling bad -went back to front desk then they gave us the room described above. Front desk was dishonest about how much time to wait and went back and forth.
The breakfast you paid for wasn't even a real breakfast very disappointing
The facility initially felt pleasant with a few walls being painted bright orange. Thereafter and having stayed here for 10 days, I began to observe the actual subculture. From the General Manager to the General Staff, because of their location they hold their chin high in having every room booked. Nevertheless, as a former professional blue collar cleaning officiate, I can tell you this. The Blackstone Group owns extended stay.
Now, whether that matters or not is up to you. The carpets are so digress that to have my toy poodle sleep upon nor my Grand Children Visit, I’d be frightened they’d capture a contagion made manifest in certain death.
Mind you, this is a review. And I truly believe that we need to do better.
