Pros:

Bon petit-déjeuner et bar agréable. Gentillesse du personnel d'accueil

Cons:

D'un point de vue decoration, les chambres font un peu démodées et ne sont pas dans la lignée de l'espace restauration et du bar.

Lorsque nous sommes arrivés le sol n'était pas très propre puis mieux lors du passage des femmes de ménage entre les 2 nuits passées dans l'établissement. Aucune aération, ce qui rend la chambre très humide avec de la condensation sur les fenêtres et donc des moisissures... Par ailleurs mauvaise insonorisation ce qui fait que nous avons entendu parler et ronfler nos voisins de chambre... Nous avons également eu des soucis avec notre carte de chambre qui n'était pas fonctionnelle au départ et qui s'est démagnetisée durant le séjour.
Difficile de comprendre l'attribution d'un "award" que l'hôtel affiche à la réception comme hôtel "de luxe".

En bref, mauvais rapport qualité-prix, nous ne recommandons pas cet hôtel qui est très cher pour ce qu'il est surtout en comparaison de ce que nous avons vu avoir sur le reste de notre séjour en Islande !

All around wonderful experience during our two night stay!
Pros:

The reception offered a wake-up call for Northern Lights and we were able to view!! The elevator made 2 floor access with luggage a pleasure. The breakfast buffets and evening meal were enjoyed were top notch!!!

MOLTO CARINO!
Pros:

Hotel davvero molto bello! La camera era spaziosa, comoda e dotata di tutto il necessario per il soggiorno. La sorpresa più bella è stata riuscire a vedere l’aurora boreale direttamente dalla nostra camera.

La colazione era super abbondante, con tanta scelta e perfetta per iniziare bene la giornata. Siamo rimasti davvero soddisfatti del soggiorno e lo consigliamo!

Pros:

The space was clean and had room to open our luggage. Staff was really nice at check in and at breakfast. Speaking of, the breakfast was a really good mix of things and it was pleasant to have before getting back on the road.

Helt OK hotell, trevlig servitör. Ok mat. Ganska mysigt hotell men inget särskilt. Skulle ev kunna tänka mig att bo där igen om priset var lägre men annars skulle jag hellre hitta något trevligare.

Very nice hotel
Pros:

Lovely hotel, nice big room, comfy bed, blackout curtains, nice bathroom. The offer of a northern lights wake up call was a great touch. Good breakfast. Perfect location for sightseeing in the Katla Geo park

Cons:

For me the room was very warm but that’s a personal preference

Hotel Klaustur was a treat and provided the relief and rejuvenation most need in the middle of an active vacation!
Pros:

Conveniently located between Vik and the lagoons near Hofn! Staff went above in providing quality services. Bath products smelled fantastic and left my hair moisturized.

Cons:

Bed was not as soft as others experienced.

Clean, Comfortable more reasonably priced than other hotels closer to the Glacier
Pros:

Very, clean modern feel to the hotel and the rooms. The included breakfast had nice variety of hot and cold offerings, including fruit, Skyr and eggs, lunch meat, breads and pastries. The staff was very accommodating and available 24x7 as we had a late evening request they answered immediately.

Cons:

The water temperature controls in our room had some issues. The sink was scalding hot while the shower was only able to get to warm enough, not hot. The restaurant was okay, not great. We had a better meal the first night at the pub down the street.
