Great choice - reasonably priced, great inclusive breakfast
Pros:

Good location between Vik and Hofn. Clean, nice breakfast, fun bar area and snacks to purchase. And honestly the friendliest staff we encountered in Iceland! We could see a small waterfall from our room.

La habitación estaba muy bien y el baño olía muy bien. Los jabones del baño eran de L'Occitane y olían genial. El desayuno era un buffet súper completo y abundante. Nos encantó la estancia!

Wer so viel Geld ausgeben möchte, bekommt ein solides 3 Sterne Hotel mit sehr gutem Essen
Pros:

Frühstück außergewöhnlich, Lage optimal in der Nähe des Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyons, Personal top sowohl im Restaurant als auch im Hotel- sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Restaurant auch für isländlische Verhältnisse eher auf der teureren Seite aber jeden Cent wert. Habe dort das beste Risotto gegessen und das obwohl ich kein großer Risottofan bin und angesichts mangelnder vegetarischer Alternativen keine großen Erwartungen hatte. Unbedingt gleich dort Abendessen wenn man schon im Hotel übernachtet.

Cons:

Der Preis. Für isländische Verhätlnisse vielleicht ok, in Ö bekomme ich allerdings für fast 400€ die Nacht etwas ganz anderes geboten, mind. einen Spa Bereich inkludiert und ganz andere Zimmer. Bei uns wäre das Klaustur Hotel ein stinknormales 3 Sterne Hotel (Restaurant war wirklich sehr gut, die Preise für isändlische Verhältnisse in Ordnung, das sei also mal bei dieser Kritik ausgenommen).
