The Staff
Had to move from one room to another to small and they’re were kids hanging out in the hallway morning and night I didn’t feel safe so we got a early checkout we didn’t stay
The midway location has made our stay smooth and worry free. We stayed so my brother can be close to his heart doctor. Stay is exceptional and we never felt unsafe anywhere on the premises. Our heater malfunctioned during t he overnight and they offered us to switch rooms if we liked but we didn't want to do that in the middle of the night because we had dr. appointment early morning. So staff offered us extra comforters to use that night. They said maintenance would be by first thing in the morning to deal with the heater. We left very early for the doctor and was very happy to see maintenance bringing us a new heater so soon. By the time we got back everything was takin care of and room was nice and toasty. It is very nice and reassuring when u are dealing with family health problems to not have extra stress or worries about your stay . Will be staying here for all doctor appointments in the future as we have not been satisfied with our stays at other hotels and would recommend the midway extended stay for all types trips to chicago.
I missed my stay because the confirmation number was not given to me on time

The air conditioning was good, one of my rooms didnt have power. I told the front desk he told me where the breaker box was located what if a wire or something was loose and something hurt me. The fridge in the rooms were rusty and the didnt look to clean
The breakfast or lack of consists mini muffins in apack 1 sterno of cofee and a few packs of oatmeal sorry dont let me forget the nutri grain bars it was horrific
We didn’t find the property appealing at all. Our room and the facility was very unclean, smelled like cigarettes, trash, and mold. There was hair everywhere, bed countertops, bathroom etc. Very uncomfortable and unpresentable.
