Great staff, rubbush food and drinks. Bar didnt even have enough cups!
Called ''family resort''
Every evening music was absolutely not family friendly. Techno/trap club music. Bashing every evening. Only totally waisted people can dance on it.
Even before kids disco. Very disappointed. Far away from kids friendly place.
Even in the room couldn't hide from that music.
Not gonna start to talk about evening shows of animation team...... Bellow 0
Our house keeper Mohamed Abdel Hamid was amazing, our room was very clean everyday, and we always had different creations waiting for us. He is fantastic!!! Thank you so much - Julia & Patrycja, Room 7225, 1st March- 8th March.
Lovely hotel, currently staying here and the hotel has a lovely feel. Comfy, fun and friendly place. Good location for airport and Nabq bay and friendly staff, highly recommend the hotel.
We've just finished our holiday at Parrotel Aquapark. I was nervous before we came due to some poor reviews but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I hope this review will help people in choosing their accommodation.
The hotel is definitely looking a bit tired in places. Eg the rooms we had (1 x double, 1 x twin/triple) had baths which could do with replacing, and curtains were a bit shabby. But the rooms were large, clean and comfortable, fresh linen and water daily, and we were more than happy to overlook the negatives for such a great priced hotel.
The food was plentiful and varied. A few people we spoke to didn't enjoy it, i think maybe they prefer familiar western type food. But we were happy to eat the Egyptian style food and there was always pasta & sauce, pizza being cooked fresh, fried chicken & rice. The egg chef at breakfast does omelette or fried eggs to order and with 9 pans on the go at once, the queues soon go down. So really i am sure there's something for everyone. The staff can't do enough for you & if you really don't like what's on offer, if you speak to one of the head waiters or restaurant manager they will cook you something different.
The pools and aquapark are great. Alcohol is local spirits which are generally awful so if you don't drink lager (I hear the local saquara beer is great) then you definitely need a mixer with your spirits. The beach is good and jetty to the reef for wonderful snorkeling.
All 8n all, a great hotel, I would be happy to return. Yes you can have higher quality/luxury, but personally I'd prefer to save the £1k+ difference and us that for trips/spends when I'm over here.
Enjoy your hols!!
omg everything was perfect for my family.
* the food is delicious,
* the drinks are good, although the wine could be better.
* our room was in the perfect location.
we were there in February 2026 and we have already booked another vacation for February 2027 we hope to get the same rooms 🥰😍
It is a fantastic hotel full of energy and joy and the staff it’s very funny and welcoming All the structures are fun and beautiful
Just returned from holiday at Parrotel Aqua Park, we stayed 7 days. The hotel grounds were really nice, the atmosphere was very good with the pools, the trees, wooden huts to sit, its all been kept very nice.
Our room was nice and clean. We initially was given a ground floor room as we had two toddlers and a pram. We weren't getting much sun light (which was the purpose of the holiday), we were promptly moved when we requested to a very nice sunny room on the second floor. The only issue was there is no lift so we had to carry our pram up 21 steps each time but the room view and the sunshine made it our worth while.
My twins loved the kids pool, it was heated so my children didn't get too cold playing in the water.
The beach was not in the hotel it was on the sister hotel Parrotel Beach resort, it is 10 minute walk which isn't too bad, they had transport available if we needed to use it. Our kids loved the beach.
There is a children's play ground, my kids loved this too. This helped us entertain them in the evening.
The resort also had evening entertainments like disco's, quizzes. It was not as good as other places I have stayed but my children did enjoy the singing and dancing.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Overall i would recommend this hotel.
Below are some minor issues I had:
1. Communication is not great, alot of the staff speak Russian, I found it hard to communicate with staff. We were not told there was another restaurant on site that provided chips and burgers, I realised on day 4!. This was a life saver, as my kids would play in the pool and get very hungry and then would have meltdowns as they didn't like the food in the main restaurant. Once we realised we could get chips from the other cafes on grounds, my kids would eat immediately after a session in the water park preventing meltdowns. I wish we had known this a little earlier.
2. The food, they had variety lots of meat and veg dishes, fruit, desserts etc. The food hall was clean and I was always impressed with how much food was on offer and the service. However, not sure if its because I am Asian, I found the food very bland and not very appetising. We did eat out a few times just to get some flavour. My kids didn't like the food either, so they eat lots of fruit.
Overall we had a great week, the sun was shining and we went off peak so the waterparks and beaches were not busy at all.
My children are both 2.5 years old for context of this review.
very nice staff, good entertainment and music
Staff are verry nice entertainment is good aswell I’ve really enjoyed my time in this resort
Cannot fault the hotel staff! Waiter was amazing we will all miss him 🙏 Thankyou for making our first time in Egypt a holiday to remember!! (Only thing that was such a shame was the entertainment in evening, really not worthy of the hotel and let it down, also when getting your meal being questioned and stuck at the door by them while they tried to get people to attend) Ignoring that I really recommend this hotel they make you feel special and that your family is welcome ❤️ Thankyou again Ahmed you are a credit to Parrotel ❤️😁
The resort itself is beautiful, with spacious grounds, palm trees, and a relaxed atmosphere. My room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with everything I needed for a pleasant stay. Housekeeping did a great job daily, keeping the room fresh and tidy.
One of the highlights was the beach and the stunning Red Sea views. The water is crystal clear, perfect for snorkeling, and the coral reef nearby is amazing. The pool areas were also clean and well organized, with plenty of space to relax.
Overall, my February stay at Parrotel Sharm El Sheikh was relaxing, enjoyable, and great value for money. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for sunshine, and a peaceful getaway!
It's a hotel, it has everything you need, but....
It's my first trip to Egypt and my partners third. The hotel is dated and there doesn't seem to be much pride in the rooms, on arrival multiple families were complaining re stained mattress protectors sheets and uncleanliness etc. we had to sign a form we only know was called something along agreement of satisfaction immediately on arrival, when my partner tried to turn it over to read the back the receptionist kept turning it back over. Our room was ok, nothing special at all and one of the photos were hanging off of the wall.
We were opposite the main bar pool and restraunt and like others have mentioned it was very loud.
The grounds are beautiful however here's some stand out points
1.) when we got locked on the balcony we called down to staff who aknowlaged us, aknowlaged we were stuck and kept on walking. A nother guest asked someone to come help us, they also did not. That guest had to go to reception who immediately gave them a key card to our room.
Really not sure why they couldn't have cared less and gave someone who wasn't staff acsess but ok?
Would also say if you have kids who will close a door please please ask for a room on the ground floor, we didn't even think that we wouldn't be able to get back in when we closed the French doors to stop mosquitos going into our room
2.) advertised as a beach resort- it is more than a ten min walk to the beach and only accessible at certain times, all inclusive status does not carry over there while understandable it's frustrating when it's marketed as a beach resort and then in the fine print it explains it's in another sister resort.
It also involves crossing two main roads but staff will come out and help without being prompted
3.) pools are only open between 10-5 pm - routinely we saw them closing them up to half an hour earlier and some of the staff were rude to people who were Trying to go in. This was an issue for us as we were out most days as there was not much to do in the hotel at all- and when we came back acsess to the beach was closed as well as pools.
4.) food was very similar every day - we have only been here for about five meals in six days and it's just about the same every day - would highly reccomend booking tours with lunch involved as often the food was much better.
5.) also as I'm writing this the receptionist is calling us for the third time this evening inviting us to a photoshoot.
The first time they rang they wouldn't even tell me what it was about until I prompted multiple times.
They are also constantly staging a table for social media content in the same location and after you've seen that for the fith day in a row with different table cloths it gets annoying. (This is the main walk way from the rooms into the dining area)
Normally I wouldn't be so negitive but honestly other than it being pretty despite a bit run down, there were no stand out high points to us.
That being said- we did have one huge high point-
I needed medical attention as I was very sick, there is a 24/7 clinic and the dr and the nurses were fantastic and helped with health insurance. I had two iv drips and daily check ins with them and couldn't have felt more looked after so a huge huge shout out to them.
Will 100% be back in Egypt but I can't see us returning here.
Please also be aware some of the photos on trip adviser and seemingly some of the reviews are for the BEACH resort OPPOSITE the hotel.
On arrival I was given a disclaimer form to sign that I would not complain about my room before I had even seen it .. I had paid for a double superior .. I was given 2 singles in a not very clean shabby room .. it was located not far from the restaurant, lobby and the first pool with a bar/gazebo on it .. this bar played loud music on/off throughout the day along with loud music at other pools then from 9pm it played a full on loud bass dance music disco till midnight every night with around 20 teenagers attending ..so for the few people that showed up the masses had to listen to this noise .. I know it's a holiday but I also had day trips planned with early starts and I cannot relax or sleep in an atmosphere with a constant barage of noise for hours on end everyday.
First time I have gone all inclusive and I was impressed with the food and drinks everyday.
The pools and aqua park make it a Great place for young families to stay.
The staff were all very polite snd friendly throughout the resort as I believe you get out of people what you put into them if you speak to everyone politely and friendly you get the same in return as I did hear lots of guests never using a please or thankyou .. manners cost nothing.
The hotel it self was actually amazing, most brilliant staff that attended to you constantly, the rooms were clean and spacious and the beds comfortable, I would especially like to thank the animation team for making our stay amazing we have a very autistic son who would never interact we any one and that spotted that he had needs and made a huge effort to interact and even get him involved to our shock but by far the best animation team I have came across in Egypt so thank you all the food was ok but hay you couldn't expect everything
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel with my little boy. The food was great and the waiters Mohammed Gomma and Mohannad made it even better. Mohammed Gomma was always there taking care of me and my little baby , he was polite, caring and friendly. I would recommend this hotel for friends and families. I Will go back again too. Thank you
Lovely people. Clean hotel. Happy service.
Fantastic staff. Muhammad at pool bar excellent service and always happy. Jimmy at pool towels couldn't do more for us as a group making sure we had beds altogether as there were 17 of us and Muhammad in the restaurant went above to help us get a table altogether at evening sitting. All other staff would always say hello and very polite. We were there 9 nights and the same staff were on all the time no days off, very hard working. Always plenty of food available never went hungry even if it wasn't always my food chooses. Large rooms plenty of space.
Would return as staff made our stay a really pleasant experience.
Hotel a little dated., but has everything needed. For the cost it is what you pay for. Staff friendly. Food a little repetitive as most cheaper fully inclusive. Was a decent hotel for friends jan/feb break in the sun.
ON THE BED BUG COMMENTS -i studied the areas around pool and found the attached ants, we all had bites and mostly from seating areas with long material hanging, will also be why they get in beds undetected......they are known as ninja ants.
First trip to Egypt with a group of 17 of us. Getting checked in was easy. Room was cleaned every day. Restaurant could get busy, but staff very helpful with getting tables. Pool bar staff service was excellent and very attentive. Pool side staff very good with setting towels out for us. All staff very friendly and management always checking everything was ok. A good budget friendly choice.
