What can I say some reviews I got to say are extremely unfair. We stay for one week start of January four of us, we had 1 bedroom apartment so plenty space, staff here give there all to help you have a great experience ( and yes a little tip goes a long way) special shout-out to Hergazy who always served us breakfast /lunch/dinner, I don't think these people take a day off! Even when my daughter got swelling from a mosquito bite on her eye the staff made sure our room for fumigated for mosquitos and I didn't even ask! So yes great hotel in great location helpful staff helpful Rep, so thank you everyone at parrotel hotel
We had a lovely stay at Parrotel Aqua Hotel. The food was good with a nice variety, and when comparing the price with the facilities, it was really great value for money.
The room was always clean and well looked after. The staff were very attentive and friendly.
kids were looked after — even when you’re relaxing near the pool, the staff keep an eye on them, which made us feel very comfortable and relaxed.
The location is also good. Overall, a great hotel for families. Sea side dither away but as well nice walk if you going for a day on the beach and snorkel.
Mohamed Saeedooked after my room and he was extremely helpful. 👍👍👍 5 stars for him. Nothing was too much trouble for him.
i had three rooms the first day manager on reception unhelpful, the spar a rip off really hurt my feet and back dont bother, the lad with glasses by pool useless and rude, the rep very rude all he wanted was money, the food was basic i ALSO never got to see any shows in hotel. If you choose this hotel be ready for rude people and rubbish food.
We booked the hotel from the 15th December to 29th December & booked a room for a family of 5. Unfortunately 2 of our group could not travel until the 18th of December due to delays with passports. On arrival the 3 of us were placed in a very small room for 3. After quite a long debate with the porter/reception we were then moved to the 5 bedroom (7437) accommodation we had booked and paid for as obviously we didn't want to unpack, pack and have to move rooms again. The room was lovely, spacious & clean.....perfect for us!!
We arrived around 11pm and were happy to find that there was food still available for us as we were extremely hungry & tired. On going back to the room we noticed the main door was broken & wouldn't lock and also the 2 lights above the main bed had broken switches, following a call to reception a maintenance worker came to inspect the issues and informed us he would fix the problems the following day so that night we just barricaded the door with chairs from within the room. The next day the door was fixed however the lights were not; the maintenance staff just unscrewed the bulbs as a solution.
We were very excited when we arrived at the room to see our bath had a jacuzzi/whirlpool function....unfortunately it was broken.
Our room was cleaned daily by a delightful cleaner who also provided us with plenty of bottled water and lots of creative displays with the towels, animals etc which the children loved! Our beds were made daily and clean towels provided.
All the beds were vert comfortable!
While on holiday our 11 year old son spent £20 of his Christmas money on a bottle of Egyptian aftershave which he kept under his bed.....unfortunately it went missing which he was heartbroken about; our room cleaner was such a nice person we couldn't think he took it however it is a mystery where it went??
Our balcony had a lovely wooden sunlounger...unfortunately it was broken 😢
Food wise we did struggle - in both restaurants the choices were very limited and very repetitive. The freshly made omelettes & pasta were OK however having to que at times for in excess of 20 minutes for them was a little annoying!
As there were 5 of us we also struggled sometimes to get a 'set' table and on one occasion a waiter accutually shouted at us for taking cutlery off another table. With each meal we asked for wine only to be served a thimbleful which inevitably meant having to get up & down during our meal for extra drinks. On the nights fresh pizza was served outside it consisted of 2 small pieces the size of a couple of stamps which obviously wasn't good as we then had to que another 30 minutes to get some more. The food is definitely not catered towards English people or children so we broke the monotiny up by going to McDonalds twice and also had a visit to Hard Rock Cafe which was fantastic and very reasonably priced!
We also visited the shops outside the hotel each night for snacks, crisps, chocolate etc as the children really did struggle with the food, maybe pizza, chicken nuggets etc should always be available for little ones. One of the restaurants always had chips available however quite a few times they tasted of detergent??? So not sure if cooking containers had been rinsed correctly? We did mention it to the waiters.
The soft drinks were all proper brands which was a bonus!
The snack bar outside was OK however only chips & 2 small squares of pizza were served and sometimes we did have to que for 30 minutes as only one member of staff was serving using one oven which wasn't adequate at all.
Towels for the pool were provided daily using the issued towel cards which was good too plus there was always lots of sunbeds available!
The pools and surrounding areas were extremely clean although some areas would benefit from re grouting.
The evening entertainment outside did not start till around 10pm by that time the children were too tired to sit & watch.
We made the mistake once of booking a taxi in the hotel lobby which turned out to be very expensive - from then on we took taxi's from just outside the hotel gate....so much cheaper and our driver even waited from us when we visited Soho Square & the old market which are both definitely worth a visit.
The animation team were very good & interacted well with our children daily.
We only visited the beach a couple of times however it was lovely and we secured sunbeds easily both times.
All in all we had a wonderful family holiday however our last day was a little spoilt....we had 3 children with us and our flight wasn't until 8pm so obviously we wanted to get them showered and changed prior to travelling to the airport........unfortunately the head of the housekeeping was very rude & practically threw us out of our room, making us rush while hovering over us......and threatening to charge us extra.
Finally we would like to give a big 'shout out' & 'thankyou' to 2 of the waiters in the 2nd restaurant both called Mohammed (one who had a new baby girl in Cairo) and the other who was 21 and studying - they both went above and beyond in their service and how polite they were....they made our dinning experience enjoyable even though the food was very poor! A lot of the staff can at times be grumpy however they work such long hours from 6am - 11pm everyday with only a 2 hour break so who wouldn't be a bit grumpy...they must be so tired.
Last piece of advice - it is quite bad with Mosquitos so be sure to pack some repellent.......we all got quite badly bitten even though staff regularly use the smoke machine in the evenings to try & control them.
I really liked this place, it's very nice and cozy here. And a very cool room cleaner! he makes figurines very beautifully. Very cool!
We had an amazing time, stayed for 7 days. Lovely resort, the facilities here are amazing. Staff are so friendly and attentive. The animation team are excellent, they put on amazing shows every night and get the crowd super involved. Will definitely be visiting again!!
We had a fantastic week's holiday here in Sharm at parrotel aqua park resort. From the animation team, bar staff, catering staff to the cleaners couldn't be better!! Fun, accommodating and always there to help. We had a fantastic holiday
I had an exceptional experience at Parrotel Aqua Park Resort, having been recommended by a colleague from Liverpool. The staff demonstrated outstanding professionalism and maintained excellent security measures for all guests. The animation team deserves particular recognition, especially Mohammed Mido, whose performance was exemplary. The culinary offerings, beach facilities, and entertainment program all met the highest standards. I fully intend to return for a future visit. My sincere appreciation to the entire team at Parrotel Aqua Park Resort.
Very good entertainment team, oka is very good . We were here in January. Good good, good beach, good pool, good rooms.
This is a fantastic hotel especially if you are on a budget. The staff work hard to always please. (I’m still actually on holiday here now, we leave tomorrow) Our housekeeper, Mahmoud (housekeeper for room 7205) has gone above and beyond us to make our stay exceptionally good. I was bitten badly by mosquitoes and had a severe allergic reaction, Mahmoud and Haitham the spa manager were outstanding, Mahmoud has made sure I had fresh fruit and juices to help me feel better and gave advice on lotions and potions locally to help which has been invaluable to me and Haitham made sure I got to the fantastic onsite dr to receive a drip and care I desperately needed. They have checked on me numerous times daily and made me feel cared for and very safe. Mahmoud’s effort to cheer me up has been great too- the level of genuine care from the staff in this hotel is very special. There are not many English tourists here currently and the Restaurant staff have also made an extra special effort for us even down to cooking dishes specifically for us individually.
It was my birthday on 7th and they sent a beautiful birthday cake and fruit basket to our room for me too 🥰
I cannot overstate how truly wonderful the staff at this hotel have made our stay. I will rebook this hotel based solely on how well I have even taken care of here! Mahmoud, Haitham, Mustafa in the main bar and Magdy and a number of the waiters on his team are the jewels of this establishment. Thank you so so much 🙏💕
Strongly NOT recommended – Appalling standards
My two-week stay at this hotel was an absolute disaster. The hygiene standards, service quality, and overall treatment of guests are unacceptable.
During my 14-day stay, the bedsheets and towels were never changed. The room was cleaned only twice. Basic necessities like toilet paper had to be requested personally at the reception.
Drinking water was not provided automatically. Even after calling reception, they strictly limited it to a maximum of 2 bottles per room, regardless of whether there were one or four people staying there.
Discrimination and segregation: This was the most shocking part. The hotel segregates guests at check-in: tourists from Eastern Europe get pink wristbands, while Western Europeans get white ones. Guests with pink wristbands are treated noticeably worse by the staff.
The juices are low-quality concentrates (some undrinkable), and the spirits are of the worst possible quality—only the beer was drinkable. Bars consistently ran out of cups and alcohol barely an hour after opening.
The reception ignores most guest complaints. The bartender at the water park is focused only on tips; if you don't pay extra, he won't even acknowledge your presence or say hello.
This hotel fails to meet even basic hospitality standards. If you want to avoid being treated like a second-class citizen and staying in a dirty room, stay away from this place.
Jax entertainment amazing, Mohammed pool bar amazing and a great holiday, restaurant lovely food hotel really clean and welcoming
Amazing hotel! Animation team always making us laugh, very friendly people treat you like family! Mohamed and jaq are the best! I will come back just for his customer service, mohammeds Shows every night they get everyone up dancing. Rooms really nice and aqua park is fun.
Amazing time, zien is the best , amazing service, very polite and friendly, will come back again, location is very good,
Had a lovely time at this hotel
The staff were very helpful & attentive
My granddaughter had a birthday and we were gifted two birthdays cakes which were delicious
Plenty of pools and slides were amazing for children
Animation team and other staff including waiters and bar staff were very good especially with the children & baby in our family group.
Walk to the beach was ok and through sister hotel, beach was lovely and felt very safe there.
Outside hotel lots of shops to choose from, yes a lot of engagement to get you into their shop but nowhere near as bad as Turkey, La Shukran and went on our way, never felt unsafe at all, Egyptians are very hospitable and friendly we had lots of lovely chats.
Weather was unbelievable for end of November and we cannot wait to come back.
The Fire & Water show that the hotel put on was FANTASTIC !
Thank you
Aqua Parotel
Everything was great. The only thing i would like to request for them is to change the food sometimes as it’s very repetitive and there’s not much meat options available for the people who don’t eat beef.
SIMPLY THE WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE OF OUR LIFE! we booked for a family holiday for 7 days 3 children 2 adults. From day one This hotel is NOT as advertised online! Room's are very dated and dirty stains on the furniture and bedding, items in the room that are falling apart, light switches that don't turn lights off you have to unscrew the lamp out of it, bedroom door latch fell to bits and had to use a stool to keep the door closed. The kids beds where filthy, air conditioning blew mosquitos into your room. First 3 nights we had neighbours from hell playing rave music from 4.30am waking the kids apparently they were warned but didn't stop them.
Ontop of this we had a cooling unit ontop of the roof right above our bedroom top floor that started around 11pm and intermittent turns on and off evey few minutes all night until around 7am. Reception didn't seem bothered. Had to purchase ear plugs from the pharmacy.
Food is terrible, cold and repetitive only things the kids eat was the pancakes at breakfast. We had to eat out in the evening. Snack bars do chips in a tray and 2 tiny squares of pizza and I mean tiny. And that is your lot!
Spirits are like paint stripper, 5 star local beer is just as bad. I got cans of Heineken from the shop around the corner.
Only decent meal we had we had to pay for $15 a head for the bbq. Never in my life have we ever paid for a meal at a all inclusive hotel?
Italian restaurant onsite is equally as bad, cold food got send back and came out cold for the 2nd time. We just got up and left.
The only positive thing was some of the staff. Jimmy, should be management and Mohammad tall guy at the aqua park. Looked after us very well.
This hotel is selling itself as a 4 star hotel...i wouldn't even say it was a 2 star.
The hotel it’s very goooooood the food is very tasty the room it’s clean the location is very closers to all things the animation is very amazing
