Horrible. Requesting full refund
Cons:

Please refund my full stay. peeling paint (lead??) in the ceiling of room 204 and dust on the ceiling ducts in the bathroom.
attendant not at the desk for 20 minutes at arrival Thursday night.

Nice hotel; not pleasant staff.
Pros:

The room and beds were comfortable. The location was on a nice quiet street close to Northwestern and the lake front. Very nice.

Cons:

The staff were not pleasant. At check out I explained we had never received the receipt by e-mail and asked for a print out. The front desk manager seemed unhappy to do so and never said a word during the interaction as if it was an inconvenience to her. Just not a pleasant interaction.

Best place in town!
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay. Every encounter with all of the staff was so warm and welcoming, but 2 people stood out; Tasha C. at the front desk and Sid from the restaurant. The vibe is like going to your gramma's house with cozy beds and updated bathrooms! Also, it is just blocks from the beach and shopping and bars. Will definitely return.

Cons:

Breakfast was not great and very expensive. Drinks were expensive and bar was very erratic depending on the servers.

Historic building near Lake Michigan
Pros:

Location near Centennial Park in a residential neighborhood with beautiful houses, room was elegantly appointed, bed was very comfortable, bathroom was beautiful and large.

Cons:

Parking- you have to valet car for $35 a day or park in a garage at a distance for $30 a day or move your car around on the street every two hours until 9 pm.

Great place; but short staffed
Pros:

The location and room were perfect for our needs. The room included lovely furnishings and a handy wet bar. Will definitely stay again.

Cons:

Despite a relatively late check in time (4:00) our room was not ready and we waited another 40 minutes to get into it. The front desk staff was cordial and apologetic but clearly there are major staffing issues.

So enjoyable and festive. Holiday stay, Christmas Eve! Loved the decorations. Staff super friendly!

Room was excellent. Stayed on Christmas Eve to be close to family. It had such a great home feeling, with trees up.

Comfortable, convenient, and close to campus
Pros:

This cozy hotel has a great location close to the Northwestern campus and is a short walk from good restaurants, the Davis Street Metra station, and the El. Our room was comfortable and clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The bar and restaurant were warm and welcoming. There are a couple of parking garages very close to the hotel. Overall the hotel is a great choice and I would definitely stay there again.
