We scheduled a college tour and the hotel was super cute and the staff extremely friendly
Pros:

All of the little fun details that you notice even down to the room keys resembling id’s of famous folks who went to school at Northwestern to the I’m studying door hangers to use at do not disturb. Super fun!

Cons:

No parking. Have to valet or park on the street and move your car every two hours. When booking there is no mention of this.

Nice hotel; not pleasant staff.
Pros:

The room and beds were comfortable. The location was on a nice quiet street close to Northwestern and the lake front. Very nice.

Cons:

The staff were not pleasant. At check out I explained we had never received the receipt by e-mail and asked for a print out. The front desk manager seemed unhappy to do so and never said a word during the interaction as if it was an inconvenience to her. Just not a pleasant interaction.

Best place in town!
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay. Every encounter with all of the staff was so warm and welcoming, but 2 people stood out; Tasha C. at the front desk and Sid from the restaurant. The vibe is like going to your gramma's house with cozy beds and updated bathrooms! Also, it is just blocks from the beach and shopping and bars. Will definitely return.
