Great staff.
TV was not as easy to use.
The staff was quite helpful in assisting me in finding a new hotel within 30 minutes. Booking.com didn't check to see if they had enough rooms and the hotel was overbooked.
Would have been better to stay here instead of the other hotel we got that evening. The hotel was overbooked and we got booted out.
The location is in the middle of Evanston and close to Lake Michigan. The beauty of the hotel, a turn of the century building
The cost of close to $800/night for a junior suite is outrageous compared to what you get. The rooms are so tiny that even a queen bed fills the entire bedroom, making access difficult. The bathroom is tiny so no place to put stuff like toothpaste, aftershave, etc. There is no coffee machine, only instant coffee and tea bags.. Clearly not in line with what one expects for $800/night rate
Location. Ambience of Northwestern history
The room was very small. Had to move the chair to watch TV or open the door. Very small elevator needs a ramp to take luggage up the two stairs to the elevator.
Great location for the lake
Awesome rooms, great vibe, comfortable beds, fantastic location
Front desk person said I did not receive a package, said she had not seen anything come in but didn't even turn around to look until I asked her to. Package was indeed in mail room. The next day I asked if I received a package, they said yes, then couldn't find it. The woman from the day prior had not updated list indicating the package had already picked up.
At checkout, I left three flat rate priority mail boxes with printed postage labels and bar codes to be given to postman. USPS website says packages were never even received. I called after one week and the packages were still sitting there. Three weeks later, 2 of packages still haven't even been scanned into the UPSP system. Now front desk says no, it was't three boxes, it was a box and 2 envelopes, and they were all sent. I have the UPSP print out, it was 3 boxes. I explained that the post office scans the barcode, so if the post office had the boxes the website automatically note that, but all it says is the date I purchased the postage and "a label was generated". I signed up for tracking notifications and the packages have not even been logged in as received. They keep telling me I have to speak to the manager. I called back and asked to leave him (Henry) a message to all me. I was told "there is already an email in the system". When I asked what the email said, it was simply a notation that I had inquired and was told to to call him later. So I repeated, please have Henry call back. I have not received a call. I called again and was put on hold and no one ever returned to the call. I paid for 2 day priority mail labels which cost a bit over $50, my belongings are missing, I can't even get follow up after 3 weeks.
Have stayed at this hotel many times and love it - unless there is an issue. A few years ago there was a problem created by the hotel, front desk said manager would follow up, and offer credit towards my stay.
Great older property converted into a charming hotel. Wonderful location near downtown shopping, restaurants and NW campus
We should have stayed longer!
The location of the hotel is quiet and peaceful.
Todo muy bien!
Para las personas con alergias o asma, no lo recomiendo.
As usual, the Graduate Evanston is a home away from home. With ample stylish and posh spots to hang when not in the room (front porch, lobby, bar) and a comfy room set up, I always feel excited to return to the Graduate.
Not a thing!
Staff was great comfortable stay. Coffee bar was great.
Comfortable modern facilities, restaurant and bar food
Too dark
Only one towel bar in bath for 2 people, which is odd
No place in bath to out toiletries, need a counter
Coffee available in am for guests, not just take out cups that you have to pay for
