The location was convenient, with a good view of Morro Bay. It was within walking distance of nearly everything we wanted to do. Our room was on the lower level with a balcony. Minor inconvenience to carry our suitcases down and up a short flight of stairs. The sea lions can be a bit loud, but we knew that ahead of time & there was only one night when it was an issue. Our room was spacious and comfortable.
As mentioned, the short flight of stairs when carrying luggage. My wife and I are fit for being 75 and 78, but it was a minor challenge.
Location, balcony with partial ocean view.
Love the coffee maker in room, microwave, and fridge
Room was clean. We never eat/get the breakfast there.
One of the best Hotel around and the rooms are always very clean. Easy to get anywhere and great restaurants around
Great location & view.
Pleasant & helpful staff.
Great pillows.
No freezer compartment in mini fridge.
Location is great, easy to get into the parking lot.
Unfortunately we had a bathroom door that made noise vey loud squakes anytime your tried open or close the door. Also the bed made loud noises if sat on it. Also the toilet made some nasty sounds a long with the shower pipes being very loud like they were going to blow up.
This was in room 201 We have stayed at the Blue Sail for over 30 years and never had a bad room until now.
Close to downtown. Room was large.
Room was not in the main hotel, but across the street. Room felt dated and always smelled musty no matter how much we aired it out. Also set over parking garage so could hear people talking, doors slaming at all hours. Photo of view from outside the windows on website showed grass and trees... actually was a parking lot. One morning was woken up by the trash truck right under our window. We did go for the least expensive room. If we would ever consider staying there again we would get a more expensive room, but only if it was in the main hotel.
Location was prefect
There was no air conditioning or ceilings fans in the room
Location and staff.
A little dated but still clean and nice.
Booked Blue Sail as part of a large road trip around California/Nevada, where budget was a consideration, however Blue Sail was an enormous surprise.
Everything was perfect - staff, room, location.
Blue Sail surpassed our expectations and so player chosen it over previous hotels we’ve stayed at Morro Bay in.
We will be back.
Nothing
Everything
Nothing
The location, the view and the staff
There should be another blanket.
I like everything about the blue cell except for the breakfast. I stay there at least 2 to 3 times a year.
The only thing I didn’t like is that they didn’t serve breakfast just this bag stuff and the stuff that they give you is just nasty so I have to pay extra money to go get breakfast
I liked being close to the Embarcadero. We also enjoyed the view of Morro Rock
Perhaps a SMALL night light in the shower/toilet area.
