Piscine
Breakfast was buffet style with everything present as of 6.30am until 10am. The service of receptionist Ms Nancy was outstanding. Right from the beginning, as we arrived, there was a dispute with the taxi driver that drove us from PKK airport to the hotel. The silly guy drove like an F1 pilot causing my spouse Thu to vomit, luckily not inside his car but outside 3through" the window at +100kms/hr. Hilarious if you think about it now. The taxi driver called the police for that blaming me (the husband) "impolite behavior" (while I was the one "inspiring" my wife to vomit outside, not inside his taxi!). So the police came for that and Ms Nancy showed herself the perfect interpreter / mediator so the police quickly grasped what really happened and the police went for a "deeper interview" with the driver, not us the customer. Our relationship with Ms Nancy was created there and then and Ms Nancy really took it almost "personally" being ready to assist us the remaining 20 days with some other minor issues like making a reservation of some museum go well etc.
One morning we went to the Badaling Great Wall that's about 1hr away from the hotel by taxi. Although fully paid for breakfast the given box was reduced to two slices of bread, one thin liver sausage, an apple, one 20ml milk and one 500ml water. Enough liquid but not enough food, right? Really the only fly in the ointment for a 20d stays so we did not complain "officially" just communicated with Mrs Nancy that showed herself diplomatic once again.
It exceeded my expectations – very clean, with a bus station nearby that is just two stops from the metro. The Wi-Fi connection was good, and the swimming pool was free to use.
it's expensive
During our vacation in China, we booked several hotels through Booking.com, but this one overcharged the booking.com price by several hundred Chinese yuan. We reported the matter to the receptionist, but unfortunately, the little Chinese guy didn't know a single word of English. I strongly recommend against this hotel.
Rooms stink of cigarette smoke. Had to try 3 rooms to find one where the smell was bearable
Nothing
The booking is one thing . The reality is not.
