Unbeatable location, great views, and extraordinary service from Jonathan!
Pros:

We stayed at the Sliema Marina Hotel for a few nights, and honestly, the location alone makes it worth booking. You’re literally right across the road from the Valletta ferry and main bus hubs, surrounded by tons of restaurants, cafes, and shops. Having breakfast up on the 8th floor rooftop with views over the harbour and Valletta was a fantastic way to start every morning.
The real highlight of our stay, though, was the service specifically Jonathan at reception. From the moment we checked in, he was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. When we asked for recommendations, he didn't just point to a tourist brochure; he took the time to map out the best routes, local spots to eat, and tips for getting around Malta smoothly. He went out of his way to make sure our room was comfortable and handled every request with a big smile and quick efficiency.
It’s rare to find staff who care that much about making your trip special, and Jonathan truly made a difference in our holiday.
The hotel itself is clean, modern, and comfortable. If you're booking, definitely get a sea view room with a balcony if you can watching the harbour activity from the room was incredible.

Lovely view and easy access but noise levels are high and the hotel on the outdated side.
Pros:

Practical location, good access to buses, lovely views from seafront rooms. Close to Qui-Si-Sana shore where we could swim.

Cons:

The breakfast was on a bland side, same everyday. The noise levels from the busy road and party goers returning from their boats trips late in the evening was disturbing as well as the poor sound insulation between rooms. The room was on the outdated side and the lift was out of order for 3 days in a row.

Everyone is very helpful and great reception team. Sajjana from housekeeping is smiley and friendly.. best hotel with excellent hospitality. Hats off to every cheerful staffs here.

Nice stay and enjoyed a lot with stunning view from 9th terrace. All staffs are very nice. Sushma, Adi, Jonathan, Ousamma, Juan all are helpful and fantastic. Even booked economy smaller room but it’s clean and tidy always

The location is good

Cons:

It was so noisy and at nights you can hear a lot of fireworks sounds . I took breakfast included - the meals were same every day + some of the meals (fried) can be from yesterday.

Toilet was absolutely disgusting. Shower was tiny and barely had any room to move. The toilet was also broken and moving from the bottom. Would not recommend

Great stay at sliema marina hotel
Pros:

Upon arrival we got the great news that we got a free room upgrade. That has already completed our holiday. We are very grateful to Sliema Marina Hotel for that! The staff was friendly and the location was perfect! Close to all cafes and restaurants, including the ferries and other boats were a few minutes walk away.
