Location was very close to perfect for our situation. Staff was friendly. .
The main issue was the remodel that had the entire lobby out of order. That obviously affected check-in and most importantly, the breakfast service, we paid for with the room. It wss a very scaled down, snack like, breakfast.
2nd issue was the air conditioner in the bedroom section, seemed to blow hot air no matter how much I lowered the temperature on the thermostat.

It was a room you could tell it was hastily cleaned and the shower didn't look clean
There was water spots in multiple places throughout the building and room. Tile was not fully cleaned in my room, I found marks on the ground that should have been cleaned before i arrived.
The closet door in the bathroom had the door off of the track...
I was on the 1st floor and for about 2 hours I could hear the guests above me stomping (10pm - 12am), as well as their television. In the morning the side door slamming shut woke me up. It was absolutely unbearable...
I had to skip taking a shower before work because the water was barely warm and I would of been freezing when I got out.
It is an absolute joke to know this is a Hilton!
The room was spacious and clean
The reservationist wasn’t very friendly they didn’t greet you with a concern or a smile as if they, even care, after ringing the bell they took their own time to answer .when I came back to check in the young lady stayed on the phone at least 35 min as if it was a personal call.then a young man came in he started to get on the computer. We was sitting on the couch looking back periodically, but he never asked were we being helped then a woman came from the back and told him to wait on us , then the young lady got of the phone and helped him with the reservation because he acted like he could not do it. It took 45 min to an hour in the lobby to get a room…when we brought the keys back they was just cold…I would like a warm greeting and concern smile or just fake it it’s your duty when your job is an reservationist….
Worst experience ever. No regard for customer service or care. Taking money for rooms but can’t even offer a hot shower. Issue was made aware on day one but never got fixed. No clear answer on when the issue would be fixed. Finally when I thought some progress was being made, and given another room. I was told to go back to the same crappy room as before. As a veteran it feels like a slap in the face to have the same living conditions as being as being on deployment. Hospitality does not exist here. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody not even my dog. Cold showers and unanswered questions is what awaits you here.
I was assigned a room that was in the middle of construction project. When I complain about the noise to the manager on duty at 9 AM on December 17, he was there a dismissive and borderline rude to me. I am a senior citizen who only wanted to express my displeasure with this particular stay. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone simply because of the customer service I received today.
Room assignment was in the area of a construction project and win the work on both days I was there. I was very disappointed with this property today.
The breakfast was exceptional. The bed was comfortable.
There was mold in the shower at the bottom edge and around the door. It takes a long time to get hot water in the sink.
Property is old, everything was dated. Carpet in room needs replaced. Staff was very kind. Breakfast was ok.

I experienced a bed bug infestation and had numerous bites on my body when I checked out. The hotel has not been transparent about how they are handling the treatment of the room and I would warn anyone booking here to take the next acceptable alternative. Bed bug bites are no joke!! They had a good breakfast but who really cares about that if you are itching and in pain!

The hotel was in good location but everything else was poor. Not a lot of parking. The luggage carts didn't have enough air in the tires and were very hard to push. The hotel is split up and hard to find our way around so we went outside and then in. Many things wrong with the room. The front clerk got our TV working. Breakfast was okay. On checkout asked to speak to manager who was not available and asked the manager to call us. After we called 3 times, finally talked to manager.
This stay was disappointing as we expected better from Hilton.

Homewood Suites by Hilton, founded in 1989, is an upscale, all-suite, extended-stay brand under Hilton Worldwide, with more than 530 locations across the United States and several in Georgia. This property is a mid-rise building near a lot of stores and restaurants. It is located on the south side of Whittlesee road and just off SR 80, making it easy to get around the area. Check-in was quick and the lady that checked us in was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel shows a little age in spots but was clean and comfortable. Our suite was large and well laid out, though the shared TV positioned between the bedroom and seating area was a bit awkward. The rear entrance door was broken during our visit, which made returning from the parking lot slightly inconvenient (you had to go around to the front door), but overall, the property felt secure and well maintained. The complimentary breakfast was nice and the hotel had a nice eating area just behind the entrance area. Overall, this Homewood Suites in Columbus, GA, provided an enjoyable and relaxing stay for us and I would recommend it for fellow travelers visiting the area.
Justin at the desk was Amazing! He was helpful polite friendly and professional. 10 stars just for him! He made the stay more enjoyable.

Excellent staff
Problem with check in. Lady in the front desk couldn't my reservation and she said she has been had many issues with Expedia. She said she will figure out with Expedia. She said she is a manager at this locatio. I felt like she found my reservation in the system. But Funny thing was she was pretending that she still did not find. Terrible check in process. Toilet didn't work properly. Dishwasher broken down. Noise from old AC. I have traveled a lot and the worst experience at this hotel.
