Peaceful retreat in a vibrant part of the city
Pros:

What a lovely place to stay and relax in Chiang Mai! They lay it on thick with the background "massage music", portraying a much calmer vision of Thailand than reality which is aimed squarely at the tourists, but didn't do any harm. The gardens are lush and well kept (a big factor in choosing this place), and although our Deluxe Room didn't have a view at all, it did have very large windows with tastefully grown trees/hedges outside so it still felt tranquil. Rooms are very spacious (I hate small rooms, so this was perfect), and even the bathroom is big.

Breakfast was a very nice buffet, selection focused on quality over quantity, food was kept hot and the service there was exceptional. You'll get much bigger buffets in large Bangkok hotels but it was still more than sufficient. One significant problem is cigarette smoke coming from the pool into the breakfast area: I complained one day, and another guest complained another day. Such a tranquil place should really be smoke-free and would get a 5* rating it they changed that.

The pool area is otherwise nice though, a bit cool in January but our daughter still enjoyed a quick dip. There's a small shallow pool and a main pool, nothing huge but very welcome.

We didn't try lunch as we were out every day, and they don't have dinner but this is no issue at all: step out of the oasis and you'll be spoiled for choice. We could walk a short distance to a big market with a couple of street food courts, obviously Thai restaurants, also Chinese, Indian and Japanese. Plenty of massage places are on the doorstep too, and a launderette also very walkable next to 7-11 does good rates. We also appreciated Asia Books, a short walk to a huge selection of kids books/games for the long flight home.

I'm really glad we stayed here and would highly recommend it

My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel, restaurant, pool, and grounds. The staff were incredibly courteous and attentive. Delicious buffet breakfast, as well. Perfect walking distance to the night market. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Chiang Mai.

Wonderful city setting
Pros:

Welcoming, clean and beautiful hotel. The Bar food was very good but the restaurant was only open until 4pm.

The pool setting is chill but the pool itself is not heated. However on a hot day it is very refreshing.

Staff are very good and friendly but it would be good if you know a few Thai words to help things along.

We will definitely stay here again if we're ever back in Chaing Mia which is very possible.

Peaceful oasis yet close to everything
Pros:

Yaan Come very charming, serene escape from city/night market, located side street short walk to night market. Staff very friendly, resort particularly at night very beautiful, spacious room, I had room 422 on first level looks out to wall of bamboo so very private, small balcony, great aircon, good hot water in shower, breakfast is OK but needs more variety, restaurant/bar not open at night plenty eating/drinking options couple minutes walk away - had no mosquito issue at all here - won’t stay anywhere else in CM again

A Hidden Oasis with an Old-Fashioned Charm
Pros:

Yang Come Village is a gorgeous boutique hotel located just blocks away from the Chiang Mai Night Bazaar. It sits a bit away from the street so it's easy to miss it, but that adds to the charm. Once I was behind the walls of the hotel, it felt like a sanctuary in an otherwise busy neighborhood.

During check-in, I was greeted in Thai fashion with a welcome drink and a wet towel to wash up with. Check in was smooth and I spent the time exploring the lovely outdoor lobby area. It's full of plants and you can see the pool area in the distance. Once I was ready, I was ushered to my room and given my room key. I won't spoil the surprise, but the room key issued was unlike anything I've ever seen before–and I've stayed in hundreds of hotels all over the world.

The rooms are large and homey. The decor is not the standard hotel fare. Somehow, it felt personal. I think I could have stayed in the room for weeks without feeling like I was in a hotel. My room was on the second floor and I had a balcony. The bathroom is separate from the main room and also very large.

Breakfast was included with my room, though I only ate there once. The food was well prepared and tasty, though the variety was modest. I think it fits the tone of the hotel, which is small and intimate. The on-site restaurant and bar closes early so if you're a late eater or enjoy late night drinks, plan to do so elsewhere.

The pool area is gorgeous and looked well maintained. It's surrounded by trees, again, creating a sense of secluded, jungle paradise. I only spent three days there and my schedule was packed, but I wish I could have devoted an entire day to sitting out by the pool and reading.

I really didn't get the opportunity to interact with the staff much as I would leave early in the morning and return at night, but everyone I did interact with was pleasant and accommodating.

It's worth noting, in case you're unfamiliar with the area, that Yaang Come Village is in a great location. It's minutes away from the Night Bazaar, Muay Thai boxing stadium, restaurants, and one of the city's largest nightlife area (including a few gay bars). The airport is a 15-minute taxi ride away.

All in all, I very much enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend!

Cute place, clean comfy rooms, lovely pool, good location - walkable to shops and night market
Pros:

This is a cute little hotel. We had a lovely room with a balcony. It was spacious and very clean and really quiet. The staff were all really sweet. The pool is lovely too, not massive, but big enough with comfy loungers. The breakfast is nice, coffee ok. We used grab app to book taxis everywhere - cheap and easy. We ate at the night market most evenings - easy walk from the hotel. The only perplexing thing about the hotel is that there is a long list of prices of things in the room you have to pay for if you break or damage anything (including a charge for menstrual leaks!). Very normal stuff in room - no antiques. I found this really weird, suffice to say we were super careful with their soap dishes 🤣 Apart from that everything was great. We didn’t incur any fines suffice to say!

Pros:

We stayed here to catch the elephant and muy thai events. The staff is friendly and the grounds are well cared for. The night bazaar is a 5 min walk. Lots of good food. There is a Michelin starred restaurant across the street that has amazing food. The restaurant at the hotel is good. Lots of other nice restaurants around the corner. Its a little oasis in the city.

Pros:

This is our third stay here. Previously 2 weeks twice. This time 3 weeks. Yaang Come is beautiful in all ways. The Lanna style resort architecture is so pleasant and the landscape inside the resort is serene. But the greatest enjoyment is from all the Yaang Come staff; reception staff, restaurant staff, cleaning and grounds staff. They are all so nice, friendly, smiling, and welcoming, all the time. Yaang Come is very close to the centre of Yaang Come, and easy to get to by car. We'll be back again.

Excellent place to stay!
Pros:

I don’t have words to express how wonderful the place, the staff, the food, the pool, the ambience and the room were. Just excellent. A little slice of traditional Thai heaven and reprieve from the city at an affordable price. Way better than the five star hotels.
