Pros:

This is my 4th time staying and each time I love it..the staff the convenience the service . 5 mins walk from train station next to shops..plenty of towels water in rooms

About Sheraton Gym and Pool and about Daren Blake
Pros:

I would like to say a few words about Sheraton Gym and Pool.
I consider it one of the best in Athlone (have an experience of visiting others)! Also, I would like to say about Daren Blake, who is a highly experienced and professional aqua aerobics instructor.
He brings knowledge, enthusiasm and care to every visiting the Sheraton Gym and Pool. His polite manner and supportive attitude make each session enjoyable and effective. He is well-respected by participants and consistently delivers high-quality instruction.

Pros:

Lovely spacious room with a v generous bathroom.

Cons:

Had dinner in the restaurant which was good exept for a portion of onion rings which were stright from frozen and tasted cheap. Dinner was ruined becouse of this not to mention paying 5 euros for them. Net curtains in the bedroom were badly torn.

Pros:

Fabulous hotel. Great location. Clean, comfortable room. Wonderful breakfast.

Cons:

Service was quite slow in the restaurant. Long gap after dinner where no one came near us! I had to go up and ask for the dessert menus. Then we asked for the bill but the server never came back and we had to ask another server. Food was lovely though.

A very relaxing and enjoyable experience always.
Pros:

As a retired couple, we enjoy a break in the Sheraton, Athlone quite often during the winter months when it offers excellent value. The biggest attraction is the wonderful staff. All are unfailingly friendly, courteous and efficient. Any requests are dealt with immediately. The breakfasts are varied, fresh food beautifully served and perfectly cooked. The staff and service in the swimming pool area make the time spent there a real pleasure. Overall, we cannot find any fault with this hotel.
