Back again at the Sheraton!!
Pros:

Loved the pleasant welcome as always every time onstay here the staff are so nice especially in reception. Quick and easy check in and out! Love the location attached to the shopping centre 👌 perfect for us and a chill stay that we came for! Bar food was excellent and also breakfast the next morning was beautiful and plentiful and the coffee was beautiful 😍 and also the staff so nice and so efficient! Also want to mention that there's a list of complimentary things in the room that you can request from reception tike we forgot toothpaste and mini toothpaste and toothbrush and razor and shaving gel was delivered promptly to the room in thought it was a fantastic service because I've been in hotels before where you have to buy all these things from vending machines in corridors!

Cons:

Have stayed a few times before and never had this problem but the room was absolutely freezing when we arrived and it was such a cold day that it would have been nice to walk in to a warm warm on arrival but we had to turn on heating and leave the room to heat up because we just couldn't sit in it...was so disappointed but never happened before so it won't stop me returning but I will be mentioning it the next time before we arrive that room can be warm for us which is not too much to expect from a hotel I don't think. I mentioned above all the amazing positives and they out weight this one issue we had this time around!

Enjoyable stay and the hotel amenities were great during winter downpours!
Pros:

Room was very comfortable. Beer tasting in the S Bar and Bistro was fun and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Really enjoyed our tapas style snack board too.
Dinner in La Provence restraunt was very good quality and value for money.

Cons:

There was nothing that we didn't like at the Sheraton Athlone! Great location.

Sub par. Didnt even ask me on checkout how was my stay or did i have any comments
Pros:

Leisure facilities.

Cons:

Too many classes in pool so no space to swim for residents. Queue for coffee machine at breakfast. Get a 2nd machine. Bar food was sub par for price, soggy bottoms on all burgers, soggy soft batter on fish, half cooked prawn crackers with curry. Cheap fries with meals just make the effort and cut chips, mark up on beer bottles is ridiculous. 8.50 for a €4 bottle of ipa.

It was fabulous,
Pros:

I loved this hotel. It is the best hotel I've stayed in in years. Better than any of the Talbot Collection or Clayton Hotels that I have stayed in over the last few years. Everything about my stay was great. I can't speak to the breakfast as I didn't want to get out of bed. I will be back.

Cons:

Leaving. I didn't want to go home.

We had a very enjoyable stay!
Pros:

The breakfast was delicious, with lots of variety.
The location of the hotel was excellent and plenty of free parking.

Cons:

The queue when checking in was very long. There was only one person checking in guests.
