Lovely staff , v helpful. Great breakfast beautiful location
Noisy, tiny room in main building first night . Much too hot and poor value for money . No room to move around , no kettle !! Nowhere to put anything .It had a sea view as advertised but other than that was not good .We hardly slept on the first night with light streaming into the room and street noise .
Luckily after speaking to the reservation team we were moved for the rest of our stay to a lovely room in the other building with a side sea view which was far cooler and had space, a kettle and room to move .

The staff were great. The place was elegant. The suite was big (a bedroom, bathroom and living room) and there was lots of place form our clothes. It was well located and very quiet. Wonderful breakfast.
We had problems with the electricity in our room that they kept blaming on a "new system." They comped us a meal and drinks for our trouble. Biggest problem was the bathroom spring lock which made a loud bang every time we used it and woke us up at night. There are also two steps down into the room from the hall. The living room could use a coffee table.

Great hotel in a fabulous location. Very friendly staff. Amazing breakfast and the women in charge will remember from day to day how you like your coffee. Smallish rooms but very comfortable beds, great showers, nice toiletries. Right on the ocean. You can walk everywhere you want to go. Very quiet. Free bikes should you wish to ride around the island.

Location is great, room size fine as one only sleeps there, prices vary depending on season, service very good, staff very friendly and helpful, nice that soft drinks are for free. Room clean and tidy. Noise level low - Quiet room, nice atmosphere - good mix of tradition and modern

Wonderful stay! Best breakfast ever!
The hotel has great charm, having been carefully restored. The rooms are individual, but well laid out. Staff were all friendly and accommodating. The included breakfast was amazing! We will be returning next year.

We loved our stay at Algilia Ortigia Charme Hotel, and would return without hesitation. Staff helped arrange a transfer for us from Messina when our train was cancelled, and were helpful throughout the stay with recommendations. The hotel is located on the quieter side of the island (which we prefer) and we loved our morning sea wall walks and evening strolls through the historic winding lanes. Still lots of restaurant options nearby,as well as dining at the hotel which we did twice. Food was fresh, and tasty!

Room was very comfortable and clean with a very nice en suite bathroom and everything we needed.
Very handy location with a large public carpark nearby and a bus stop just over the road. Easy to walk into the busy little streets of Ortigia with lots of shops and restaurants close by.
