Super nettes Personal! Tolles Frühstück. Zentrale Lage.
The price on the Guest Reservations website looked reasonable but when I continued, the total didn’t tally and with no explanation. So I decided to book by phoning. The person I spoke to offered me a ‘special deal’ of $85 per night. I reiterated that I was one person and checked for confirmation that this was NZ $ (I was phoning from NZ to a NZ hotel), He reassured me that it was for one person in NZ $. I was again charged more than expected and asked explanation from the receptionist when I checked in. She said that singles are always charged double (I know this is the norm is many hotels but they do make that charge explicit and I often agree). Receptionist said I would have to phone in to query charges.
The first room I was given had a faulty lock and the service person was very helpful and found a new room for me. I was quite relieved as I was undecided as to whether the bottom sheet was fresh. Returning to this first room to pack my things I mis-remembered my room number and swiped in at the wrong room. The door opened to someone else’s room so I hurriedly left.
The new room was clean and I was confident of fresh linen. However, mid winter and the windows didn’t shut completely. There was a kettle and stale tea bags of a cheap brand. A lack of power points so nowhere convenient to boil the kettle.
I often stay in Auckland but never again here. There are choices.
Great location. Great staff. Excellent restaurant and breakfast.
Kitchen not fully stocked…no usable knife , no fry pan.
The staff is welcoming especially John and the room is big enough to fit our family of 5.

It’s easy to access for an inner city walker and also has available car parks. There is a city beach for sea swimming near by. Restaurant for breakfast is good. Rooms are large and comfortable.
An extra blanket for the beds in winter would be good but otherwise double over the duvet and it’s good enough. A wine glass in the room would be nice for those of us he like to chill.
We had a wonderful and amazing stay. Very clean and the staffs are so friendly.
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the location was convenient. Overall, it was a comfortable experience, and I would stay here again.

We realised the Wi Fi didn't auto connect after a while, and had trouble using the TV. Would be good to just have a live TV options to save all the frustration of trying to get apps to work.
It was a bit quirky. The location was good for city access. The staff member who helped me adjust my booking did an excellent job of sorting it out and arranging the necessary refund.
There was a mix up with my booking which I was not happy about.
The restaurant was dark and depressing.

The location is right near the skycity cbd and intercity buss stop which is great but it the place across the street have alot of dodgy poeple hanging around
