Pros:

The St. Julian's Bay Hotel was the best place I could wish for. Not only was the the view from my room breathtaking,  the whole experience was very pleasant indeed. So much so, that after two days I decided to stay longer. 


All and all  I had 4 nights in this hotel.

Two days on the first floor with a sea view enjoying a luxurious dubble bed and two additional days in a more spartan single room but with the same spectacular view from it's the 5th floor.

The room booking was easy and the move effortless thanks to an efficiant young receptionist with a warm smile who took me up in an elevator and let me see the room before I decided to deffinetely take it. 

Happy 4 days.

... a comfortable bed - check, good shower - check, everything clean - check, location - doubble check!! Friendly and competent staff - tripple check

But the highlight was the balcony! The view and the opportunity to wach the Maltese light change over the water in the morning sun, it's pinks and reds ....  simply unforgetable. And don't start me on the after the sunset light 🙂

Prelepa lokacija i jako prijatan smeštaj. Sve je bilo uredno i čisto svaki dan. Posebna pohvala za Miru, sobaricu koja je bila izuzetno ljubazna i posvećena. Sve preporuke! Rado se vraćamo ponovo ☺️

Das Frühstück war in Ordnung

Mein Kindle wurde aus dem Hotelzimmer entwendet, angerufen ob das Personal evtl. Zurückgebe möchte. Sie haben nichts gefunden. Keine Entschuldigung. Die Tür wurde nicht eingebrochen, also, kein Versicherungsschutz. Viel Burokratie und der Diebstahl wurde erst Zuhause gemerkt, da ich 2 Tage vor der Abreise hn gepackt habe.Nie wieder. 1 Stock, gegenüber ein Schwimmschule, direkt an der Strasse. Kleine Balkon, könnte man gerade sitzen. Hygiene im Zimmer ist ein Fremdes WORT.

Mooie locatie, slechte badkamer
Pros:

De locatie is mooi. We hadden een lekker balkon. Koelkast was ook fijn. Naast de deur een Spar die 24/7 open is.
Lekker bed en prettig personeel.

Cons:

Er is nauwelijks parkeerplaats in de buurt.
De badkamer is ronduit slecht. Geen planken om iets op te zetten. Douche van 70x70 cm die absoluut te klein was. Douchekop bleef slecht hangen en mengkraan was moeilijk in te stellen; vaak óf kokend heet óf koud.
WC is erg ingebouwd, dus weinig ruimte om te zitten.
Het strandje op de foto is erg druk en vies. Je kunt beter 1 km richting Valetta lopen voor een ruim strand.

Für eine Übernachtung nach einer Party ok, als Urlaubsunterkunft mit Erholungsfaktor nicht geeignet.
Pros:

Die Lage und die Aussicht aufs Meer.

Cons:

Es ist nicht mehr als zweckgemäß. Es ist laut, vor allem nachts (trotz Oropax) es riecht muffig. Die Betten sind nicht so bequem, im Bad ist es sehr eng. Nicht geeignet für Erholungsurlaub.

emplacement très bon : directement sur la baie. La taille de la chambre est appréciable. Belle vue si chambre avec balcon.

Cons:

6eme étage ascenseur en panne, escalier extrêmement étriqué (avec les valises, bonne chance).
fenêtres pas insonorisées : boules quies obligatoires. Globalement : un côté neuf posé sur du vieux.

Would definitely stay here again
Pros:

The service people are sooo friendly and helpful - it was close to everything - a walk to clubs - a walk to boat trips - great bars across the road - beach right there - had white powder for milk! Perfect!

Nothing! Hotel is an absolute disaster!!! Extremely poor in quality! Felt like I was in a homeless shelter in a third world country, except that I had my own room to myself. The duvet which the hotel actually didn't have a cover for (shocking, right??!!) had blood and poop stains on it. This hotel was a disaster, an unmitigated disaster!!!

Cons:

1. Extremely noisy! The road on which the hotel was a major very busy road with 24 hours very loud and very busy vehicular traffic. The hotel windows had zero soundproofing, completely none. So with so much noise from the road round the clock, if you are a light sleeper, do know that no sleep for you during your entire stay.

2. Dangerous, life threatening safety standards. There was a naked live electric cable wrapped in black tape that was actually falling off, right above the desk and under the tv in the room!!!

3. No cover for duvet. The hotel ran out of duvet covers and only wrapped 2 bedsheets on both sides of the duvet, twisting these around the edges. The bedsheets of course fall off each time you pull the duvet. The actual duvet had what looked like blood and poop stains!

I had to leave the following morning and do an emergency booking of another hotel, despite the high cost of booking only hours before checking in.
