The accomdation was excellent, a very nice hotel. I believe we stayed in the renovated rooms. We would have liked to have stayed another night but it did not fit into our schedule.
There was nothing that we did not like.
Really lovely room in terms of furnishings , friendly staff . Had a good chat when checking in and even wished me luck for an event I was in town for genuinely nice and I was looking forward to the stay . It's a great location on the muckross road only minutes from town and other sightseeing areas. The room actually had amazing facilties as well , rainfall shower was amazing , wardrobes , separate press with safe and ironing board . TV with apps to watch online content , YouTube etc
I had gone to bed early at 900 pm and my event started early . At 10 pm that night , what sounded like a loud water pump / water tank started running between the room walls it ran from 10 pm to 12 so it was clearly a scheduled thing . It was like trying to sleep over a water mains . Really bad nights sleep as a result . So disappointed . Really spoiled the stay
Location was good.
Didn’t like that the curtains wouldn’t properly close, left all the light in. The room service was poor, water jug wasn’t refilled or glasses changed.
Hand rails in lift weren’t cleaned once during the weekend. All smudged with handprints. Very noticeable.
Just be aware there are car rally meetings in Killarney 3 times a year - things can get busy and loud - opt for a room at the back.
The hotel is close to many things a walking distance. Parking was easy. Building beautifully kept. Quiet room!
Desk staff a little snobby, except for Laura/ Lauren on days.. very welcoming.

One small quibble you can hear the tv when it is on in the neighbouring room.
