Abyssanto Suites & Spa

We recently stayed at Abyssanto for our last stop on our honeymoon and everyone went above and beyond to make this the most spectacular and unforgettable part of our trip!!!! Our room was decorated special with flowers and rose petals upon arrival and we immediately fell in love with the staff and the whole place!!! They helped us coordinate everything throughout our stay and made it easy to plan and maximize our time. We were booked for a romantic dinner outside and it happened to rain and they improvised to set up a different suite very beautifully and served us the best meal of our lives!!! All the staff have so much knowledge of the island as well and are happy to answer any questions you have!!! The breakfast each morning is a beautiful spread and definitely worth it!!! Also very convenient to have beverage and snack options availabile in the mini fridge so you're not always running to the market!!! We plan to come back for our anniversary for 5 or 10 years we did not want to leave!!!! A million times recommend to anyone, thanks again for making our stay so flawless and special everyone at Abyssanto!!

When arriving, our driver was at the airport to take us straight to the suites. Upon arrival we were greeted with wine and a little taste of Santorini. Mr. Panagiotis will give you a run down of all the city and suite has to offer. Him and Ms Catalina are beyond humble and are always there to make sure you are more than comfortable and able to enjoy all this beautiful place has to offer. 10 out of 10 would recommend

Really great views of the bay and adjacent islands. Staff were very friendly and attentive and sought out ways to get us great deals and experiences on the island. The bed was a little uncomfortable (hard) for both of us

Me and my two daughters just stayed here for three nights and it was fantastic!! The staff were extremely kinda and ever so helpful it’s just a beautiful property and amazing location I 100% recommend it was fantastic!!

The one good thing about this place is the view — it really is beautiful. Unfortunately, the rest was disappointing. We couldn’t use the outside part of our room because every night there were ants on our bench. The steps are steep, slick, and have no railings, which feels unsafe, especially after a drink or two. The pool is tiny — about the size of two hot tubs — and sits directly in front of the main office, so it feels awkward being on display.

Getting around isn’t terrible with a small store and a couple of restaurants nearby, but transportation is pricey. Rides cost $35–$45 one way, more at certain hours. Since there’s no beach on-site, you’ll need a taxi — about $70–$90 round trip.

The staff experience was frustrating. Before arriving, I called about early check-in since our flight landed at 8 a.m. They said it was no problem, but when we got there, they wanted $50 an hour — $350 total — just to enter a room that was already ready. On top of that, we had to sit through a 20-minute sales pitch for extras like in-room dinners and massages, and the upselling continued almost daily, which was annoying.

To make things worse, their pricing felt unreasonable. Something that cost $50 in cash jumped to $80 if paying with a credit card, which they blamed on “fees.” A 60% markup is just crazy.

Overall, the view is great, but between the ants, unsafe steps, tiny pool, pushy sales tactics, and surprise fees, it simply wasn’t worth it.

The place is absolutely stunning. Very clean and such a beautiful view. I would definitely go back!

Absolutely wonderful in every way. Especially all of the staff!

We had a wonderful stay at Abyssanto Suite and Spa. Mr. P. and Katerina treated us like family. Mr. P helped us plan our daily activities (private land tour with Cristos, sunset cruise). He provided shuttle service to wherever we wanted to go. The place was clean and breakfast was excellent. We were able to relax and truly enjoyed our vacation. The place has the best view of the caldera and the sunset!

Really a nice hotel service and was great view was amazing. Only thing I didn’t like was when we were checking they tried selling us trips and excursions. Really best view in Cancun. They have rides to every spot on the island for a fair fee. Don’t miss you

Staff is beyond excellent

Very nice place to stay with the best sunsets.

Excellent location, very inviting hosts (the owner Katarina was really respectful and kind) and amazing, spacious rooms. We had a very memorable stay here. We relaxed in the pool and enjoyed sunset on the pool chairs with wine. It was a very relaxing vacation. The breakfast is served to your room and is too notch! It’s a huge breakfast and you can enjoy it after sunrise, go for a hike from Fira to Oia and directly have dinner at several nearby restaurants. The location is very convenient and you can very much spend the entire vacation without leaving the neighborhood.

Very family friendly atmosphere. Imerovigli is not the busy part of town but the laid back part. Abyssanto suites is in very good condition and was about what I expected based on listing photos. The staff is friendly, down to earth, and speak into your heart and soul when they speak to you!

The staff and location was just amazing! We enjoyed our stay immensely and thank you to everyone for making our visit memorable!
Also, the hotel has a driver and vehicles conveniently on site which makes getting around to other places less stressful.

The team at Abyssanto is fantastic. Everyone was very friendly and helpful with arranging transportation, providing recommendations, and even packed us a to go breakfast when we had to leave for the airport at 4am. We had included breakfast and there is nothing better than enjoying it with a view in the morning. They provided a different breakfast spread each day that we were there. You can’t beat the views from this location. It is well located near some lovely restaurants within a few minutes walk.

We had an amazing 3 night stay here. Panagiotis made us feel right at home. The entire staff was so helpful. Beautiful breakfasts every morning. Incredible views from our balcony. I also love how chill imerovigli is compared to other parts of the island. Highly recommend!

This property is located on top of caldera. Excellent location for Caldera and sunset view. Better sunset view from hotel compare to Oia which is over crowded by cruise folks and all other visitors. Excellent Breakfast is served in your balcony. This property offers very competitive pricing on transfers, tours, excursions. Manager Panos works with you as per your need. Takish was excellent tour guide for Santorini island tour. Oia has upscale shopping. Walkway path around perimeter of caldera was excellent.

Everything was perfect! The staff is extremely helpful and recommended us lots of interesting things to do. They also helped us plan our days. We took the private boat trip, the Oia trip, the Perissa black stones beach and everything was amazing.
The room was spotless and the breakfast was in abundance! Highly recommend Abyssanto, Panos and the whole crew!

The location if this hotel was fantastic! Best views for an amazing sunset every night! The staff was extremely kind and attentive! I would recommend this hotel to anyone!
