Room was poor, very dated, no bedside sockets, no USB points, bedside light was 4 foot away from bed, floor grubby, bed was two beds pushed together, linen was cheap, toiletries were poor and had odd odour, breakfast was sub par, eggs overdone, bacon rubbery, not worth the price paid
Food quality, room decor was very dated, like the 70's
Lovely hotel in a fabulous location, 3 minutes walk to the beach, extremely dog friendly, the staff are superb, the drinks are reasonable and so is the menu, a lot of locals use it too, it has a lovely relaxing atmosphere. Nice pool area too. Will definitely return.
Better lighting in the bathroom, and venting.
Amazing location on a peninsula between two sandy bays. Very clean. Friendly staff. Good breakfasts.
No air conditioning or fan in the room, which I’m sure is normally fine, but it was 30 degrees.
L'absence de réfrigérateur et le blocage des fenêtres.
Great staff, great breakfast, good evening meals, nice room, good parking, nice pool, great location.
Room could do with a sharper clean - dust on the plug sockets and finger prints on the bedside light switches. For £200 a night, I expect a bit better.
We were also put in a room right next to the outdoor 'smoking' tables for the bar - had to close the window at night due to noise.
Location is superb. Pool facilities good
Breakfast was disappointing, no menu choice, narrow buffet choice and drinks poor. Public areas noisy.
The pool area was immaculate. Hotel very clean overall.
The rooms were extremely hot, no fans provided and windows opened only a jar. The mugs in the room were not clean on arrival. Towels in the bathroom had a very stale smell not fresh.
the staff was very good and kind
the wi-fi could be stronger
Good location, very very good staff, clean rooms
lack of atmosphere in bar area. breakfast coffee cold, buffet hot food a bit tired unless you were early
Location was lovely, staff super friendly and food tasty including breakfast and dinner.
Nothing to complain about
Really enjoyed my four night stay at the Peninsula Hotel. Staff at reception and in the breakfast room were pleasant and accommodating. A gluten-free cooked breakfast was prepared upon request without any fuss. The room was nicely appointed and looks like it might have been recently updated as everything was crisp. The inner door to the bedroom was a nice touch, reducing noise from the corridor. Shower pressure was excellent and the hanging space/shelving alcove was brilliant. I ordered room service and the food was enjoyable and much better than I expected.
My only complaint was that the Wifi kept dropping out, and sometimes took an hour or more to be restored. Also, there was confusion on check-out that I owed payment for a meal that I'd settled at the time of room service, which was a small issue but their system should not allow such errors.
Friendly staff. Scenic location. Good food in the restaurant
Breakfast could have better variety. Bacon, eggs and other warm dishes could be replenished every half an hour rather than once at the beginning of service.
A surface to place two pices of luggage in the rooms would be great help
Friendly and helpful staff (our daughter had an accident there and the staff were quick to respond). The breakfast was good though we didn't realise that we could make special orders for things like pancakes and eggs until the last day.
. Drinking water by the entrance.
. The dining area leading straight to the swimming pool.
Some suggestions for improvements:
. Air-conditioning availability and a fridge in the room would have been handy.
. Key cards rather than the keys with big ball things.
. A note in the room on how exactly to call reception
Lovely hotel, excellent staff, great breakfast.
Everything was great - thank you.
It was suitable for where we needed to stay on the island, the hotel was very well done and maintained
In my opinion I felt the hotel needs to reduce the amount of choices on offer for dinner mains , less is more which means you can send out dishes of a higher quality standard
