As per Colombia's tax laws Foreign visitors and Colombian citizens currently living outside Colombia are tax-exempt (19% VAT) when receive a PIP3, PIP5, PIP6, PIP10, TP7, TP11 stamp or TP12 visa upon entry to the country. Exemption only applies to room package rates (accommodations plus service). Permit must be shown upon arrival.
This tax is not automatically calculated in the total cost of the reservation.
To maintain the safety and quality of the experience for all guests, it is necessary to register companions during the Check In process. In this case the value of the additional person will be $99,000 COP + VAT.
If the companions are not present at the time of Check In, their personal information is required to carry out Pre-Registration. If the information is not registered on time it will not be refundable.
According to Colombian law 2068 of 2020, companions can only be registered with an official document, a citizenship card for national guests and a passport for foreign guests. It is necessary to print and have the hotel registry signed by each companion and clarify to the reservation holder that when their visitor is going to leave the hotel, they must inform the Reception, otherwise this value will be charged for the rest of the nights of their stay. . and the cancelation of the charge cannot be requested.
Guests not registered at Check In will have a charge of $99 USD or its equivalent in Colombian pesos according to the hotel's exchange rate in force and must be paid before entering the room. This value is per day and per person.

Convenient location in the middle of El Poblado. Fantastic included breakfast, Orlando is the best! Food court a level below plus a variety of shops. Many other cafes, restaurants and even Starbucks only a short walk. The rooms are comfortable and clean with streaming apps on TV. Room service is excellent and very quick. The Plaza and Hotel have many security guards and is very safe. Staff has many good English speakers if you’re a dumb gringo struggling to learn Spanish like me! Also has pool and assist with airport transfer.

The property was pretty good. The staff and especially Orlando at the restaurant made the difference. Orlando’s attention was phenomenal. I’m so sorry that he leaves his Job in november. He’s the special one who makes our stay rather comfortable. In general the hotel needs more people like him. In other Words, the hotel needs more attention to the details. For example, the people who clean the rooms are not very friendly. At the front desk i applied for an upgrade, and the guy at the front desk said i’m sorry we don’t have any available room for you and your wife. I think that he didn’t look at the computer, his answer was a complete NO. Maybe next time we have another response. I love the hotel!!!
