My home in Guangzhou, near the mall, near the business, near the transportation and inside a fabulous park.

Breakfast : Zero English speaking staff , they can’t understand simple things! Very poor station for western food ! Maybe 5% from all buffet.. Definitely not Hyatt standart. Rooms are very small ! Definitely overpriced !
Honestly quite disappointed with this stay.
The Level 22 front desk service was really bad for a Grand Hyatt. Check-in already felt cold and unfriendly. No introduction to the hotel, no explanation of anything, just felt like they wanted to get it over with.
Check-out was even worse. The guy assisting me kept looking down and didn’t seem like he wanted to help at all. I even had to ask him to help me check out the room. After that he just said “done”. Didn’t ask how the stay was, didn’t thank us, nothing about the deposit also. I was honestly quite shocked because this is supposed to be a luxury hotel.
Cleanliness also needs improvement. One of the towels had fake eyelashes stuck on it from the previous guest. Really disgusting to see.
We stayed on Level 9 which is supposed to be non-smoking, but the whole hallway smelled like cigarette smoke.
Funny enough, the bell staff at Level 1 were much friendlier and more professional than the front desk managers upstairs.
Definitely not the service standard I expected from Grand Hyatt.

The lifts
Great staff hospitality friendly attitude and expecting your needs. Convenient location and good inside facilities, especially the indoor pool and the sauna.
A great variety of choices for breakfast and exceptionally food quality with many freshly made and prepared instant.
The Club lounge also offers good food, snacks and choices of wine.
G Restaurant food is delicious and friendly staff with most pleasant smile and service.
Not much
The rooms were old and smelled like mold. It seemed like a Chinese hotel licensed as Hyatt that didn’t adhere to the same Hyatt standards. The room layout was weird. Everything the club the bathrooms were old and super dated. The breakfast the club offers were super weak and Chinese.
The spa facilities
We found a cockroach on the table of the breakfast. The staff did their best to make us happy at the end.

The location is perfect. Lots of good restaurants around the hotel. I didn’t get the hotel breakfast but I went to see the area and it was huge. I bet they have lots of selection. The bed was very comfortable. I like the layout of the room. I’ll be back for sure!
Amazing service, great location, fabulous rooms and pool area. Special shoutout to the concierge Martin, who got me a refund after being overcharged by the airport taxi.
