Faros 2 Hotel

Our ferry was cancelled and we urgently needed a room for the night. That's what we got!
Dated with no frills, spacious and clean room but with the most uncomfortable hard bed we ever experienced. What little sleep we got was interrupted by the night porter trying to get into our room in the middle of the night! A long confusing story which didn't enhance our experience at Faros 2.
The only good thing was the lovely friendly lady at reception in the evening. So polite and kind.

The staff extremely helpful

I had to quickly find a hotel in Piraeus on Saturday night, coming over form Naxos, as my husband had been taken to a nearby hospital. The ladies on Reception were SO nice and helpful with perfect English. I am so grateful to them. I won't be the only person to find themselves in this situation - many hospitals close by! The hotel is very clean, the bed was comfy, and the rooms have good bathrooms and air-con and a tv and fridge, and the price was VERY good. Piraeus is a bit noisy - its a port, but I would recommend this hotel if you need a bed around here for the night, or to catch a ferry as the gates for the ferries are just 5 minutes walk down the hill. There is also a very nice and friendly proper old style Greek taverna 3 doors away. I was having a horrible day, but the nice people at the hotel, and at the taverna made things feel a lot less awful for an hour or 2.

Clean and comfortable, close to the port.

This hotel in Piraeus is disgusting and noisy. I didn’t sleep a single wink because the team couldn’t stop a group of noisy young guys who were disrupting the sleep of other guests. To top it off, there’s no breakfast area, old furniture, a tiny elevator, and uncomfortable beds.

This was a great layover for us, great location near the port, lots of restaurants, and coffee shops. Easy to get a taxi , rooms were quaint and hit the spot, kids loved the elevator.

The area around the hotel was run down. There was a lot of renovation in the area. I had nice walks to the cruise and fishing ports. I didn't feel unsafe regardless of the nature of the surrounding neighborhood.

This is an average property that gave my family and I a place to stay the night before an early ferry ride out of the port.

Very unique place. Very small but very efficient elevator, with a touch of antique class. Loved the room service and the receptionist was very accommodating. A very unique place to stay with an awesome restaurant.

This was a delightful boutique hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean and quiet. Nothing negative to say about this hotel. Great for the price!

Det var betydligt längre att gå från Pireus hamn än vad som angavs, särskilt i 35 graders hetta!

Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Bra läge om man ska vidare med färja från Pireaus.

Property is small but quiet and nice.
